It's nothing more than another step towards making humans into a machine. Under the materialistic mindset humans are machines...thus if one dies it simply makes sense to use the parts from that machine to make another machine work. Even better if you can grow and harvest the parts for the machine.

This is what Fox is supporting...faking or not the guy is wrong and selfish.

I post this story from NewsMax in the interest of fair play. In it, Michael J Fox says he was medicated during his commercials

The problems I have with this are: (1) he is an actor; it is what he does. And he is a good actor.

And (2) this statement: Fox told Couric, adding that his jumpy condition as he spoke to her reflected "a dearth of medication not by design. I just take it, and it kicks in when it kicks in." "That's funny; the notion that you could calculate it for effect," he said. "Would that we could." He is actually contradicting statements he made to the contrary in his book. Parsing his words, one wonders if the "jumpy condition" is caused by the "dearth of medication" or from the disease itself. Either way, I saw the interview and my opinion stands: he is disingenuous. I am not saying Fox is evil or anything like that. Truth is, like any pitchman, he will do whatever it takes to persuade an audience to come around to his way of thinking. or his party's platform. I have seen Republicans trot out hard luck cases, too.

i saw a clip of an interview with him this morning in which he said the irony is, he had OVERmedicated himself, not undermedicated himself. overmedication causes the kind of symptoms he displayed in that advertisement. so he was still being decietful.

Regardless, it is still an emotional appeal. You have a man suffering and saying, "Oh look, I could be healed if you would only allow stem cell research...take pity on me."

I can't. I will not sacrifice the lives of millions in order to save thousands. Adult stem cells are the only proven methods that actually work...why not do more research on adult stem cells? Oh, that's right, because if we do we lose any possible moral justification for abortion.

Fox needs to push for a cure, but if this is the only cure he is pushing for, it would be better for him to remain silent and die with what little dignity he has left (sorry, but when you advocate the death of babies for your own gain, that robs you of much dignity).
