To all the Vets on the board

Tomorrow is Veterans day. I want to thank any/all vets on the board for your service. I can not adequately express my appreciation of you, and what I think of you.

Some Gave All

I knew a man, called him Sandy Cane.

Few folks even knew his name.

But a hero, yes was he.

Left a boy, came back a man.

Still many just don't understand about the reasons we are free.

I can't forget the look in his eyes or the tears he cried,as he said these words to me.

(CHORUS): All gave some and some gave all.

Some stood through for the red, white and blue,and some had to fall.

And if you ever think of me,think of all your liberties, and recall,some gave all.

Now, Sandy Cane is no longer here.

But his words are oh so clear as they echo throughout our land.

And all his friends who gave their all,who stood the ground and took the fall to help their fellow man.

Love your country and live with pride and don't forget those who died.

On Veteran's Day please don't forget those that are not with us.

There are many veterans from WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, the Gulf and other wars still not accounted for and it is now time to bring ALL of them home to their families and loved ones.

As a veteran, I want to say God bless all of you, I was state side my whole tour. I served from Oct 75-78, there were only rumors of war praise God.

I would like give a heart felt thank you all the Veterans as well, especially to those who have seen combat.

I served with a bunch of Viet Nam vets who after coming home from the war, got no parade or welcome home or job or even a thank you. A lot of them were instead spit upon, cursed at, degreaded and look down upon.

A lot of them for lack of any place else to go ended up re-enlisting. My hat is off to you brave men and women, some of the best people I ever met in my life. You helped me to grow up while I was in.

My prayers go out to the brave men and women in Iraq, God be with you and we hope to see you home soon.

I'm a Viet Nam vet. I served at the same time as my own father did. He went to do a 1 year tour in Nam.

I stayed stateside, handling supplies for the troops - 1974-75.
