[if this in any way turns in to Serpent Seed Doctrine it will be yanked faster than you can say the words, "Branhamite heresy."

Rest assured, I would not waste my time trying to expound any doctrine that is NOT in the Bible, why are you so paranoid? I. . . .

It's called past experiences with topics like this.

Please don't take it personal. The Mods have to keep on their toes trying to monitor all these threads going on. Sometimes when you are managing things, it is easier to give a warning ahead of time to hopefully prevent a problem than to just sit back and wait for it potentially happening. That's all. OK?

The Bible talks about there being GIANTS, who came from the land of NOD, where Cain had gone to live after being kicked out of the Garden

This is a sensitive issue and I know some adjudicators may question my interest, but I would like someone to show me, through Scripture, where they came from

I have heard it suggested they were descendants of Seth, through daughters of men, also that they were the missing link betwixt man and beast, but have so far found no Scriptural evidence to support these

Anyone got any ideas

who told you that Cain was in the Garden?

as far as the Bible teaches, the Garden was closed to humans long before Cain showed up.... Cain never had access to the Garden.

Adam and Eve, are the father and mother of all man kind.... not every son or daughter that was born to them was listed in the geneology, if the geneology was totally complete, there would be so many books stacked up that there would be no way to be able to find out what really matters....

Adam and Eve sinned,

Adam and Eve bannished from the Garden,

Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Able,

Adam and Eve had many more sons and daughters,

Cain kills Able,

Cain flees for his life, with the mark of Cain,

Cain looses his life, and the one killing him is cursed, (this person also knew of the meaning of the mark of Cain)

Adam and Eve have other children, to include Seth,

time traveling through history

Noah shows up,

Noah has three sons, each son has a wife.

flood comes and destroys all living things save what was on the ark with Noah, his wife, and three sons and daughter in laws.

world population starts over, the only person left from Adam is Noah, no one from Cains, no one from Ables, no one from any other line save Seth......

as people traveled from the site of the Ark, they changed to match climates, some characteristics became more dominant with some and less with others for climatic reasons, this does not mean that they have become a different type of creature.....

Noah, was also born into sin, as was all other humans, Noah was not exempt from sin, he, himself overinduldged, and one of his sons, who knows what he actually did to his father, sinned and was cursed of his father and sent on his way.....

from this point on in the Bible, you can find where just about every nation came from that is spoken of in the Bible, for the Geneology does carry this on.... all three of Noah's sons, where they went, their geneology. so, just cause the earth was destroyed of all life, does not mean sin got wiped away, satan was and is still on the prawl.

as far as giants, there are still some huge people in the world today, there is a genetic marker that can be activated some how.....

my step brother is 4 inches taller then anyone that we know of in the family, his father is 5'10" he is 6'2" and his eldest son is 6'8" ( at age 14 was 6'6") things happen in our environment that can make people, and even animals, grow huge...... seen a opossum the other evening on our front porch, that had to be close to 2 foot long, not including the tail, and about 18" high, this is a common size around here....

there is a couple men here in town that if they stick their arms straight out to the side, i can not jump and hit their arms with my head... they duck going through just about every door way i know of, and even a few door ways at the mall they have to duck under, their father does not have to do that, these guys are what i call "Gentle Giants"

another family, both boys are at least 6" taller then their father, and he is taller then his and he does not remember anyone that was as tall as him prior to him.....

my cousins are all at least 4"taller then I am, and I am the tallest born to my father, and taller then he was, and he was the same height (with in an inch or so) as his three brothers and taller then sister...

the couple that use to dress and Mickey and Minnie for Disney, were married and were really short people, their daughters were what we would call "normal" Height, 5'5" - 6' area...... genetic markers can stay hidden for a good number of generations before something triggers them to come out....

baldness is not a trait that is known to our family, but, as my son says....... .

Dad, you have comb over.....

I have what????? :)

Comb over, you know, where you comb your hair to hide the bald spot..... :emot-hug:

I do not..... :o

Yes you do, look.......

Good Grief, I do...... sheeesh...... what happened to my full head of hair, looks like i am wearing a skull cap now..... :emot-hug::emot-hug::emot-hug::emot-hug:

things change.... :emot-hug:

my grandfather had black hair until he was in his late 40's, i had gray hair in my forelock at age 18....

i thought that was cool :emot-hug: ..... but COMB OVER!?!?!?!?! now i feel old... lol

thats ok, i cut my hair shorter, and it dont look half bad..... :):b::emot-hug:

so, we have to remember, just cause one person was found to be righteous, does not mean they are exempt from sin.

and Giants do exist that is geneticlly speaking....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
