Here's another website that is a great help:

http://www.xxxchurch.com/index2.htm

Good books for help in finding freedom:

Every Man's Battle

Preparing Your Son for Every Man's Battle

Passport to Purity

Memorize 1 Corinthians 10:13...stick it on your bathroom mirror and read it over and over!

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

As a male teenager, I understand exactly where you're coming from, and how easy it is to find, and slip into such things. And I know how you feel; when you're alright, it's great. When you slip, avalanche. It's really tough, especially if you have a graphic memory. But I'd like you to know I'm praying for you. I know that those links are really, very helpful.

I haven't gone to such extremes, but if it gets worse, I'm considering getting a filter for my internet. Of my own accord. Perhaps that may help you? choosing a password such as "ssahsfsfjshswfhwrh" for it may also help - random typing you won't remember.

Anyway. Just a small input.

Despite not having much "worldly experience" compared to some might have, (no offence to anyone - I just plain don't know)

I offer you my support, and would like to say that you can PM/email me whenever you like, should you want to.

I am going to be very forward. I have a problem that's affecting my social life and which keeps me from God. That is lust.

I am addicted to pornography. I have this burning need to fill a need. This immorality is like scratching at a mosquito bite, it gives short relief but only makes it worse.

I feel dirty before God. I feel like a hypocrite. I've asked for Jesus to be my savior, I've asked for help from Him in this personal hell. And before I know it, I'm dirty again.

I've done as much as I can to help myself. I've destroyed all my pornographic material (but in times of weakness it's easy to get more  ) and made several vows (which were broken time and time again).

I'm asking for advice, a prayer, or just someone going through the same thing.

I'm doubting the existence of God (which may be related too). I have seen so much that would indicate the existence of a personal God. It's the only thing that makes sense, yet I can't bring myself to truly believe (once again I'm a bloody hypocrite for going to Christ in the first place).

Nothing is making sense anymore. I have no-one to talk to about this. I honestly have no friends in real life who I could even begin to talk to about this. I feel I'm a coward for hiding behind a screen name and posting on a message board to complete strangers. But I did and I ask what help you can spare.

Seeker in the past I have had this problem as well, I'd love to share how the Lord delivered me, but I' won't do it here. If you would like to email me at my email address, and leave your address ok.

It is possible to gain healing from this addictive behavior. Without the the Christian 12 step program called Celebrate Recovery I would not be where I Am today. This January 3, 2007 I will be celebrating 5 years of sobriety or abstience from pornography. I have realized that through this program I could not have found or gained the healing I needed to put me back in a realtionship with Christ. Accountability is was got me through and knowing I was not alone and there were other people put there that have gone through similar situations. As I went through the program and worked I discovered other issues that I needed top deal with but with the support of Recovery and now going to a Christian counselor I'm amazed that healing I'm finding. The Bible tells us that no matter how bad our addictive behavior is, IF we choose to turn it over completly to Christ care He will make pure and white as freshly fallen snow. This will not be an easy fight for you but it can be done. Here is a list of some of the resources that helped recovery from porography.

Every Young Man's Battle by Stephen Arterburn and Fred Storker

Every Women's Desire by Stephen Arterburn and Fred Storker

This is a FREE on-line course which helps both male and female and teenagers overcome many hang-ups and habits such as pornography, homosexuality, overeating, and more. However you get what you pay for when you go to a free on-line course. IT requires up 60 days straight to complete the program. Each Lesson takes about 30 minutes to complete. They will have some who will be accountable to you about each lesson but it may not happen every time since they are understaffed at this web site Although we say honesty does matter in the healing process I recommend if someone taking this course has possible committed a crime to be careful in what they say because they are obligated to report the crime. I also recommend taking as much time as you or someone needs to complete the course because it is intensely structured, meaning don't rush through 60 days to get it done take longer if necessary they are understaffed anyway.

The Pornography Trap by Ralph H. Earle Jr. and Mark R. Lasser

(A must read for pastors and counselors!)

Well Thats it for now there are more but this enough to get started with I think.

Hope This Helps

God Bless,

Ray

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
