this says you do what the bible says and not just hear it. this is pretty much what they will be if they proclaim faith

that is what saying democrats can be good christians and still hold their veiws would be like.

Whenever I hear democrats squawking I just remind myself what they promote and engage in: Anal sex, eugenics, euthanasia, and ramming scissors into the skulls of babies before sucking out their brains. I call them the "death party".

Well here is an interesting post. Someone who is not from America, yet who knows what Democrats "promote and engage in." This post says two things to me: (1) The Democrats have a terrible reputation both here and abroad, and (2) He is not altogether wrong, however, not every Democrat engages in the things he mentions. In actuality, there are good, well-intentioned Democrats...who should know what their party is all about and get out! This party needs a total makeover.

I haven't heard of this person, but I did hear the Democrats were going to try to make themselves look like conservative Christians. That even Hillary is trying to make her stance on abortion more palatable to Rebublicans. Like We'd fall for that one!! It's the age old strategy for Democrats. The sad thing is, sometimes it works. There is always a younger generation that hasn't been around long enough to know about their lies.

Politics is not really about the truth in our time. It's about the sale. "Don't tell me the facts, just give me the story." Sound bites and the sales pitches are very effective in the age where most American's (80%+ ?) claim that they are Christian but many of these same don't crack open the bible, pray, or fellowship with other believers. Many Americans will not take a principled stand on serious issues like abortion because such issues are not very comfortable to think about.

This effort is more dangerous than it might seem on first glance. It is a campaign designed to impact the anti-religious feel of the Democratic party without changing the substance or stand of the party. The wolf is buying himself a brand new sheep suit. The problem is that the campaign has worked in 4 states, with a 10% impact. That's a huge change. Having the stats in hand to prove her point, she has a good chance of selling the concept to the party and the likely impact nationally could be enough to swing the elections in '08.
