Pelosi ready to make history as new speaker

One of the things they want to do is lower the interest on student loans.

Translation: we have to raise your taxes.

Interest rates on student loans have nothing to do with your taxes. Reducing the interest rates on student loans costs the banks money, not the taxpayer directly. Why do you think the proposal has like 80% of the public behind it.

It all eventually comes down to us.

Yeah, high interest rates means bigger student loan payments and more money for the banking industry. Lower interest rates means lower student lown payments and more money in your pocket.

Last year, the Banking Industry contributed a total of 20 million dollars to parties and congressional campaigns, of that 63% went to Republicans, 36% went to Democrats. Thus Republicans want banks to make more money, Democrats want you to have a lower student loan payment. Its all about the money.

My opinions were just that- opinions based on what I feel her speeches portray, along with her voting record.

In my opinion, she has come close to treason with several of her position regarding her views of the nation at war. She has accused the President, who is also the Commander-in Chief, of several things which are not true, and could cause harm to our war effort. In that sense, I believe that some of her speeches bordered on treasonous behavior. I understand that some of it may have been simple election year rhetoric, but still, does it matter what the circumstances where when she made the speeches?

Still, the information is out there. Simply type in "Nancy Pelosi's view of the war on terror" into your favorite search engine, and you can rehash her points of view. I consider some of them to be close to treasonous. No big deal, really, as it remains my opinion.

As for her being a communist, it's simply my way of saying that her socialist views of what America should be have much in common with what the Communist Party of America thinks.

Again, just my opinion.
