And since, according to the report in Scripture, IAUE even created evil, it is not accurate to say everthing He created is itself "good" -- even though it IS a fact it is "good" He created everything He created (even though evil is not "good").

God created "evil"????  Where is that in scripture? I don't remember anywherer it saying "And God looked at His creation and called it evil"...

No "jumping" here.   I do believe that we need an indepth understanding of what abstaining from evil and being separate is all about.  For instance, if my wife or myself dress up in scary or demonic costumes or, even decorate to any degree, our home with symbols (we don't even allow jack-o-lanterns), then we are not separated from the "world's view" of halloween.  We also are enabling and endorsing a practice of "scaring away" or "forbading" evil spirits that is not Truth nor Biblical.  

However, if we should put out a few Christ-centered decorations on our porch and leave the light on, we are not participating or endorsing the satan stolen evil nature of that day.  We are distributing Chick tracts especially made for halloween that reaches young children.  We are taping a sucker or bubble-gum to them and telling the kids it is a free gift from Jesus.

Like I said in my previous post, we need to go into satan's territory and take back what belongs to the Lord.

I have never seen anything toward Catholics except Truthful Love presented.  He does expose a lot but, everything he presents, he backs it up with references and resources.  I know his name is foul with almost every Catholic especially when the RCC officially denounced him for printing Father Alberto Riveira's testimonies.  This man was a high up in the Jesuit order and literally spilled the beans on all he knew and studied in the catacombs and vaults of that church.  They hate Riviera and his exposing them deeply.  So deeply that hardly any media except Chick would tell his story.

It would behoove you to check into the testimonies of Riviera instead of keeping a "churched based bias" against him and Chick.

I disagree... I find his tracts very biased and not love filled at all. I see a lot of ignorance and misunderstanding.

I tried searching the entire internet (not just Catholic sites in case you wondered) for Father Riviera and found nothing. Do you have any specific info that can be looked up on the internet?

Alberto Rivera, the alleged former Catholic priest, bishop, and anti-Catholic hero of Jack Chick comic strips, was exposed as a total fraud by non-Catholic Gary Metz, in two articles appearing in evangelical magazines:

I notice that they didn't really try to defend Alberto's story at all, just talked about what a nasty outfit they think the RCC is (the quotes from militant atheists like HG Wells really impressed me) and what a nice guy they thought Alberto was.

Sounds to me like they've been had rather soundly, and know it, but ain't gonna admit it for a second.

I will also entertain the possibility that Chick and his people are all certifiably insane.

There is no doubts about the RCC history for revisions on historical events and evil.  There is ample record of her quest for power over kings and nations even to the controlling of them.  As far as the "Hitler" and "Lincoln" theories go, photographs and documents show association of high authorities in the RCC with Hitler.  That is evidence that is hard to refute along with the highly anti-semetic theme, displacement and ostracising of Jews in general within Italy spurred by RCC authorities.  As far as Lincoln goes, evidence stacks up to a 50-50 as to whether they were involved or not.  On record, Lincoln did defend Chiniquy against outlandish and unproven charges by the Bishops in his sector.

Somewhere, I have or had copies of historical records of  trials and hangings of several Catholic conspirators involved with Booth in Lincoln's death.  There is for a fact though, no physical evidence linking these people with the RCC except for the fact they were Catholic.  So, in all fairness, any allegations that the RCC or Jesuits were involved is left to testimonial evidence on both sides since we were not and are not in that time period.  The most impossible conclusions are those that people attempt to make today regarding something in history especially if it was not substantiated in official record anywhere.  Consequently, the RCC has been and is guilty also of testimonial allegations which have not been substantiated nor can be today.

This is not about the RCC or her evils or even about Catholics or Protestants.  This thread's focus is on applicable Truthful outreach by Christians even on days supposedly celebrated by pagans and satanists.  This is about where the line is drawn Biblically and Spiritually between effective evangelism and participation in idolotrous behaviors and celebrations.

Perhaps a thread set up in the Protestant - Catholic boards about these allegations and men would be more appropriate?
