In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He was in the beginning with God.

Matt 3: 16-17

After Jesus was baptized, he came up from the water and behold, the heavens were opened (for him), and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove (and) coming upon him.

And a voice came from the heavens, saying, "This is my beloved Son, 13 with whom I am well pleased."

Is this supposed to depict a triune god? Which one is the God and father of all, in all and through all?

Each Person of the Trinity is fully God. They are One.

What do you believe, Quick?

Is Jesus God? Is the Holy Spirit God?

Peace,

Fiosh

I think I asked you a question first that you neglected to answer. Which one of your gods in the baptism proof scene of trinity is the one God and father of all, in all and through all?

I did answer it, Quick. They are One.

John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,

and the Word was God.

He was in the beginning with God.

All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be.

Your turn.

Which one of your gods

This made me perk up!

Do you know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, Quick?

John 8:56-58...

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad."

Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?"

Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."

Abraham and Jesus are pals!

Now, three entities were present on the bank scene. Are you saying all three, THEY, were the one God and the father of all, in all and through all?

Three entities on what bank???

I'm not even pretending to be able to explain the Trinity. Great saints have written volumes and haven't been able to completely encompass the awesome nature of God.

What I am saying, is that there is One God in three Persons. God the Father is God; God the Son is God; God the Holy Spirit is God.

Each is fully God; yet they are One. They share one nature and are of the same essence. Each is distinct from the other, yet there is no opposition.

"The Father is wholly in the Son and wholly in the Holy Spirit; the Son is wholly in the Father and wholly in the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit is wholly in the Father and wholly in the Son." CCC#255

St Gregory of Nazianzus writes:

"...Divinity without disparity of substance or nature, without superior degree that raises up or inferior degree that casts down. . . the infinite co-naturality of three infinites. Each person considered in himself is entirely God. . . the three considered together. . . I have not even begun to think of unity when the Trinity bathes me in its splendor. I have not even begun to think of the Trinity when unity grasps me. . "

Our God truly is an awesome God!

Your turn. You are an atheist, aren't you, Quick?

Peace,

Fiosh

You are right. I cannot totally separate the Persons of the Trinity as you are asking me to do.

What do you believe, Quick, and why?

I just do not believe that God became a man. And I note that you cannot determine which of your three gods is the one God and father of all.

You need Jesus! You need to put your trust in Him and what God has said about Him.

There are not three gods, but One God only, who is manifested in the man, Jesus the Christ, and His Spirit, and the wonderful Father.

Come to Jesus today and accept the Father's plan for your salvation!

Woops. Too many people that are gods in your statement. I do put my trust in Jesus and I do believe what God said about HIM. Until you can differentiate betwixt the three gods you profess, I can

I believe that you cannot justify the persons (gods) of your trinity as the one God and father of all, that is in all and through all. You have three persons (gods) at the baptism scene in fixed locations that are not in all and through all - nor are they ONE.

That's true if you limit God to human abilities. God is not ruled by our ideas of space and time, though.

I've done all I can to answer your questions, Quick. I was honest and sincere in my dealings with you. You continue to try to be elusive and clever (as you see it).

It's between you and God now, Quick.

It's clear that you are not a Chrisitan; and you won't be honest about what you believe. You contradict yourself when you states your beliefs. So there is no point in further discussion. I don't like dishonesty.

I hope some day you come to the Truth that is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Peace,

Fiosh

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
