I think we as christians run to quickly from the battle.

So schools are going to teach our kids about homosexuality. So what they will learn it one way or another. What we need to do is educate our kids in what we know is true. God created us to live in a male and female relationship or in none at all. But all God called us to show love to our neighbours no exuse.

If you take your kids out of school all you do is take away another way for those "other" kids to not hear about jesus. So we can't preach about Jesus or pray in school. If all the christians are removed than what is the point of being on this earth. We would have no way of relating to these lost and missguided people.

So in Conclusion don't run away assure your kids of God's word trust their judgemnet and let them be and influnce in a sociciety and school system that needs Jesus so badly.

I wouldn't be willing to take this risk because children are too impressionable.

Proverbs 22:6

6 Train a child in the way he should go,

and when he is old he will not turn from it.

People seem to misunderstand this verse for "Train a child in the way he should go, and he will be able to withstand all negative influences as a child." That is not what this verse says. Note the word 'old'? It is a good thing to be able to have some control over what is being impressed on your children while they are young. Public schools take alot of this away.

so they'll learn it anyway.... does that mean as christians we sit idly by and allow the courts to strip our rights as parents and allow the schools to INDOCTRINATE our children to accept and ENDORSE such a reprehensible, abominable lifestyle?

jtjf, you're wrong. as christians it's not that we run FROM the battle too quickly, it's that we don't run INTO it head first wearing all our spiritual armor.

Really, even Christian ADULTS should not be taking such a class that teaches homosexuality is perfectly acceptable.
