I do believe in Jesus.

Would you please explain what you mean by, "I do believe in Jesus"? After all, "even the demons believe, and tremble."

Who do you believe Jesus is?

And who is Jesus to you personally?

I believe we are ALL subject to a higher being. And i believe Jesus was a man. Because of some of these intelligent post i am able to rethink what knowledge has led me to believe that. But until my soul is settled on Jesus being God, i will not accept no man as my personal savior. one reason i feel this strongly about this issue i have, is for my fellow brothers and sisters who do worship Jesus. If they are correct than i will have no fear of serving Him. the words i type are not to turn anyones Faith as i believe a "demon" or Satan would. i ask these things for my personal salvation, and i thank all who has responded.

i am a very honest man. i do not envy my neighbor nor covet his wife. I live my life on a straighter path than most christians, i personally know. I want nothing but peace for mankind and would gladly give my life for another. I help anyone i can in any way i can, and i dont pass judgment on anyone. but, i do not consider myself any religion. I only know what i feel in my heart, mind and soul. and in every way (to me) man is corrupt. and man wrote the Bible. Man wrote every passage that man uses as a guide to their heaven. With all the money and death related with this book and Jesus/God, it is hard for me to blindly follow when something righteous inside of me that it is horribly misconstrued. But im just looking for answers, and i will go to the ends of the earth to seek them before i wager my soul for convenience. but i am no "demon".

and down the road i feel that the path i am on is headed to the wrong destination i will have no problem in denouncing all i have asked/or said.

We cannot see God because of our goodness. Goodness is not relative, either. We believe in God, and His Son, Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice on our behalf spares us the penalty of sin. It is God's goodness we revel in.

I believe that God is the reason I am good. I do not thank Goodness for my creation. Nor hold Goodness responsible for the purpose in which iam here to serve. I believe it is God who is telling me to ask these questions, so that my faith in Him will grow. What a shame it would be to live life blindly following a religion written by man and thento die, and learn that Jesus was a great man, who obeyed God, but that he was only a man. And my life was spent worshiping a man as a God.

Hold - am I reading this correctly, that you believe you are without sin? That you are perfect? :th_praying: I'd like to ask your family and/or those you are closest to if this is true.

Questions -

Let me show you this explanation by George (the Board founder) - Location of post

**************************************************************

George wrote:

I believe the answer lies in UNDERSTANDING Jesus' in the complexity of God is by understanding the ARM of God. If you think about your arm -- your arm will NEVER do anything that your head will not tell it to do. For example, If I were to punch someone -- i couldn't say -- Oh my arm did it -- I didn't do it! Your arm will always do what the HEAD tells it to do!

When you were kids -- the TEST of strength was an ARM wrestling match! That was the "test of strength" when you were kids!

So to better understand who Jesus is -- let's look at the ARM of God. Please forgive me for such a LONG POST! BUT in order to TRULY understand the mysteries of God it's imperative that the Bible speaks for itself!

Isaiah 63:5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.

Isaiah 59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

God saw there was NO MAN that could stand in for HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS -- therefore HE SENT forth HIS OWN ARM!

Isaiah 52:10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

God shows HIS ARM in the eyes of all people! That they may see His Salvation! on in Hebrew -- His Yeshua -- the Hebrew name of Jesus!

I'm sure you're familiar with the passage in Isaiah 53, but I'll refresh the passage so that we're both on the same page.

Isa 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

So has the ARM of the LORD been revealed to you? God asks you the question -- and answers his own question -- with a DETAILED explaination of who the ARM of the LORD is!

Isaiah 40:10-11 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

It's no wonder that the Word declares that His ARM shall rule for HIM -- His ARM shall bring forth REWARD -- and the WORK of the ARM is before HIM! His arm shall gather HIS SHEEP!

Do you see who the ARM of the LORD is? Can you grasp that concept?

Your brother in the Lord with much agape love,

George

I see that Isaiah 53 would be the perfect training book for someone to learn. Im not Jewish but Jews are the Lords Chosen people right? And the Jews are the ones that had Jesus Crucified, correct so far? so what if the Jews are correct? Does that mean that christians go to hell? Or do all Jews go to hell for not believing in Jesus? Religion is the most lucrative business in the world. That being said, couldnt corrupt men looking to become rich off of the masses, have led us astray?

So you believe the Holy Scriptures were written by man?

Do you believe that Jesus is God?

The Holy scriptures were written by man. Several years after the crucifiction. That is fact. God

Himself did not write the bible. Nor did Jesus.

I do not know what Jesus is. I think it is hard for anyone to be for certain.

Were Acts and Peter in the New or Old testament? And also, why were so many books discluded from the Bible?

the New Testament, and if you read all the other gospels not in the bible today you will see why they were cast aside.

but please feel free to answer my question about Jews and Christians. Who goes where?

"Peter Speaks" , not "Peter Writes". I am sorry but the bible was written by man, No where in the bible did God nor Jesus physically write a passage. Which strikes me as odd when Jesus is Gods right hand. Could he not write down in his own thoughts what he wanted us to follow? Insted he has to fill mans head with words to write several years after his death?

Jesus declared Himself God.

John 6

26 Jesus answered them and said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."

28 Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?"

29 Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

30 Therefore they said to Him, "What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.'"*

32 Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."

34 Then they said to Him, "Lord, give us this bread always."

35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

There are so many beautiful details in the bible. Remember in the old testament that the people were crying to Moses in the desert? God sent down manna from heaven every day to feed them. This sustained them for years. He also provided water, from a rock no less. This was a foreshadow of Jesus. He is claiming that He is the one that provides us life-giving nourishment. He is the water that sustains us. No mere man can do that.

Many places He declared Himself God. If this were not true, He would have been a liar, and therefore not a perfect sacrifice for us. The Lord would have rejected Him as perfect. However, He was accepted and He rose on the third day, just like He said He would.

Read the book of John. It is a most beautiful revelation of who He is. Study it - find out why Jesus is saying the things that He is.

BTW - Jesus writes on our hearts. He said -

Jhn 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

I pray you will find that which the Lord will have you see. :emot-hug:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
