(Rev. 13: 3) ... That was my thought which makes sense, how can a mortal wound kill the immortal? It will just be another way of decieving many to follow him to destruction. "the other not yet come" could be the Antichrist empire. Then there's this verse: Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven,, and goeth into perdition. The eighth being the healed head or the revival of the Roman Empire in the Antichrist one world government when he begins the tribulation and persecution of believers. The 10 horns with crowns being the 10 kingdoms which give their power unto the beast (Antichrist) and help him destroy the Whore of Babylon (America). The beast is seen as a conglomeration of all the ungodly world empires throughout the ages and the final one world empire who all got or get their power from the Dragon (Satan). Here is a definition starting from the first verse - Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. The seven hills are Palatine, Aventine, Capitoline, Caelaian, Esquiline, Quirinal, and Viminal. These are the hills where Rome was built. Revelation 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. Revelation 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. The would was the fall of the Roman Empire and was healed again when Catholicism came to be. Not long after the fall of the Roman empire Catholicism came to be. As at one time the Romans ruled to world until the empire fell the Catholic church afterwards came to be and ruled people throughout the Dark Ages. So are you saying the catholic church is the beast?
