I think not, since the threat was not WMDs as we were led to believe and no concrete link to terrorism has been established. The threat was an imagined one, a theory of some neo-conservative think tanks to which Rummy and Dick and Wolfowitz are leading members.

Maybe because they are allies??? Ever hear of NATO or NORAD??? Unless of course if you don't care if your allies become your enemies.

TRUE allies are there to defend you against your enemies. this so-called "alliance" is baloney. it only amounts to "i'll roll over if you'll keep scratching my back". why should we be concerned about these "allies" becoming enemies? since you have no military worth speaking of, what more harm could your country possibly do than it already has done, by saying we have no right to defend ourselves?

-I'm not saying that I am glad to have our throops over there.....my family members being some of them. But one thing for sure WMD's or not...I am glad SH is out of power....are all the mass graves they have found fabricated too?....what about all the innocents he killed....I think if he would have been left alone to rule like he was....then shame on all of us for turning our backs on the brutality.

But that is just my opinion.....

I don't think you can blame the democrats for this, it's the intelligence agencies and think tanks that formulate the policies that the politicians adopt. It's quite apparent to me that Bush isn't the one coming up with the ideas and policies, it is Dick, Rummy, and Wolfowitz that sold him on this game plan. They are the power behind the presidency and bush is just rubber stamping their policies. There are democratic think tanks too, but they all follow the same general game plan, they only differ on implementation. This present administration is a very dangerous one. Instead of making the world safer, they have taken a giant step toward making the world a lot more confrontational and dangerous, not only by stirring up more anti-American sentiment amongst Arabs which will create more terrorists, but more importantly they are turning friends against them in Europe (10 horns?) and Russia (Gog and Magog/antichrist/beast).

This is such misleading rheteoric. THERE ARE NO WMDs, THERE WAS NO THREAT! I'm 100% sure that if America were truly under threat, that Canada, France, and Germany, would be there to help, BUT THE THREAT DIDN"T EXIST! I could care less what you think about Canada, but the misleading accusations and finger pointing to cover up for and excuse your government makes me wonder where your faith is. Is your faith in the Messiah and His ways, or the ways of the world and it's god, Lucifer?

BTW, right now Canada has troops on the ground in Afghanistan where they are in a major role and Canada also had a major role in patrolling the Persian gulf. Canadian intelligence is helping with anti-terrorism efforts and shares information and sources with the US and vice-versa. Canada has just agreed to negotiate agreements between Canada and the US to co-operate on the missile defense shield for the defense of North America. What this means, if it goes through, is that missile intercept batteries will be stationed in Canada to shoot down incoming ICBMs from Russia which would be coming over the pole directly over Canada. This would make Canada the first line of defense against such an attack and the missiles would be exploding over Canada and not the US. Canada already has joint command at cheyenne mountain in the present arrangement for North America's early warning systems and first response teams. Our forces hold joint training etc etc. I'm sure there are many more areas of co operation I am unaware of so your perceptions are quite wrong. Canada is involved heavily in the war on terrorism. The only thing we didn't help with is Iraq and now we know why, there was no WMD's or terrorist ties, and hence no immediate or forseeable threat to America period. As far as I can see, that proves it was right not to get into that war and that America lied and manipulated in order to implement their plan for dominion in the middle east and the world and therefore are doing much the same thing that they demonize others for. Now, I can understand them doing this, but I can't understand how Christians can justify supporting this kind of deceitfulness.

Revelation 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

I would classify Iraq as "the wrath of her fornication" and the Christian support of it as "partaking of her sins".

The Canadian military is not even a major force in Canada. I drove by a base one time in Ontario. I think there was a helicopter and a couple of jeeps. That was about it.

Ted, you don't see any because there are almost none to see. Yes, there are some troops. Very little. They have no military to speak of, certainly not any with any strength to defend themselves against attack by those who wish to annihilate them. That's our job, unfortunately. We spend the money, they reap the benefits. They would rather pour their money and resources into 'social' programs that keep failing.
