Rest assured God is everywhere, He may not be actively doing anything but it is impossible for any human being to draw a breath without God. It is God who provides for the just and the unjust alike. It is God who sustains all life, from the tiniest little Atom to the greatest mountain it is all Gods, every speck of it. God doesn't like some of the things we do, and there will be retribution for them, there will be weeping and sorrow, but there is no way that something else out there is keeping a heart beating, or a person breathing without God. There is not one living organism on this planet that even sighs without God knowing about it. This is all just Gods and we are just sojourners in this land.

In Yeshua's love

Thanks, I do believe too that God is everywhere but he does not live in the unbeliever, this is so sad to realize, thats the only place where his present isn't.

We got to pray more people! :t2:

Amen, Angels4u. One of the hardest things for me to overcome was the feeling I had towards other people. All of us need to keep in mind that God sees us in equal sin. It helped me to understand that all people need the Gospel. Now it's hard for me to shut up!

And yes, God IS everywhere, and behind everything. All is done for His glory. Amen.

Hi Ted,

Its so good to know that God is everywhere--its so peaceful to know that we are never alone--

God is not looking at our sins anymore, after accepting Jesus He removes our sins as far as the east is from the west, every time we confess our sins He forgives us and He will do that until the day we die.

I understand you are in Afganistan?

I pray for safety and peace for you and all people who are in war like situations, may God protect you and Maranatha Jesus COME! :)

Please Ted never shut up for Jesus---we were ones where the lost are now, we were lost in our sins but thank God, glory came and saved our souls !:)

Yes. When you are clothed in Christ (Gal 3:26), God now sees not our own sinful lives, but Christ's.

Amen again!

I was saying God sees all of our sins the same way. Mine are just as bad as anyone elses. Of course, after Salvation, we are washed in his Blood and clean. My problem at first was that I couldn't see how anyone else could reject Him after hearing the Gospel. That was fixed be going back and revisiting my own rejections of the past and allowing God to show me love like I had never known it.

Praise to Him!

Yup, Angels, still here, but will be home soon. Thanks for the thoughts!

According to this scripture God is everywhere, even in hell.

Psalm 139

7Where can I go from Your Spirit?

Or where can I flee from Your presence?

8If I ascend into heaven, You are there;

If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

9If I take the wings of the morning,

And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

Since I didn't see anything new I figured I would search the archives and I came accross this post.

Ephesians 1:20-21

"20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. "

The question "is God everywhere" is slightly ambiguous. Does the fact that God is everywhere assume that he is "in" everything. I would say NO. God is Seated High above the earth, in heavenly places, that is where God "IS"

The above verse speaks of god's "presence" Dictionary.com's definition of presence is something to the effect of "The state or fact of being present" What is 'present' again dictionary.com states that to be present is "A moment or period in time perceptible as intermediate between past and future"

For instance, if I watch a murder, I was present at the scene of the crime. That doesn't mean I aided in the murder, it simply means I was present.

So the way I look at God's Omnipresence is that it doesn't refer to his physical location (where) but the Scope of his vision and influence. Does that make sense?

So in answer to your question, Yes God's Presence is felt everywhere, but is He everywhere, I would say no. He is seated High Above the earth, in heavenly places, that is where He is!

Sorry but you can't intellectualize God's pressance out of any where. When He said though you make your bed in hell I Am there, that's what it means, God is Spirit, and He is everywhere with no exceptions, and it needs no interpretation.

When you start working in the factory and the gnostic you work with asks you "is God omnipresent" and you say yes... He has you!

He will then go on to explain to you that God is in everything, He is the sum of all that is, He is not "in the heavens" rather he is in nature in the trees, and he will tell you that that's what the Bible Says! But, you can not argue with him, because he is right... If God's Being is everywhere and God is IN everything, why can't God be be in the trees, in the grass, in bugs, and animals, rather why can't God be in all of us already!

That is why you must define omnipresence, otherwise someone who does not believe in Christ, may think He is right, simply because you said Yes God is omnipresent. To him Omnipresent means God is literally inside him! So then why accept Christ, God is already in me!

That is why I broke down omnipresence the way I did. It is both a Biblical stance and doesn't cause confusion in such discussions.

Yes, and how many angels can dance on the head of a needle?

The Psalmist asks where he can flee to from God's august presence? And Paul tells us in Colossians 1 that the Lord Jesus created all things. He CREATED the trees, mountains, rocks & rills, but He is DISTINCT from His Own created creation. If He were not distinct from, then we'd have zillions of gods as in the false religion of Hinduism.

God is indeed everywhere. I am hardly anywhere. And I praise the God Who created all things for His marvellous works.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
