Just a stupid question that I'm sure someone has brought up here before. But can we feel physical pain in heaven? Can we feel at all? Will we be indestructible? I don't mean to be crass, but do you think it would be possible for males in heaven to kick each other in the groin as hard as they can, and just smile after getting kicked? Will we have organs? And what for? Just for the heck of it? Will we be able to jump off some tall building in heaven and land on our heads and not get hurt? What do you think? No sidestepping answers please..

I think you are being a bit carnally minded (worldly thinking) instead of being spiritually minded in your thinking but you have a good question.

Revelation 21:4-"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more "pain:" for the former things are passed away."

I am not sidestepping but we will have a glorified ressurrected body as Jesus had when he was raised on the third day as they killed Jesus only once and will never be able to do it again. In this life we die a physical death to go on to a spirtual body that cannot be destroyed for we shall live forever. We will not have to go around testing things like kicking others needlessly or jumping off building nor will we be concerning ourselves with those things over there. I hope you will read all of Revelation 21 as it tell of the Holy City where the saints shall abide without all the pain and suffering we have in this life now.

That's all I'm saying, I never said there would be a "need" to kick each other. But if we choose to, can we? And will it feel like nothing? Can we get tickled?

I personally don't think our minds will be on kicking one another but you have to understand that flesh and blood will not be apart of our eternal home of the soul in heaven.

And will it feel like nothing?

So, in light of what I said above about flesh and blood not being in heaven I would have to say no that it wouldn't be felt if you took the notion.

Can we get tickled?

The Lord will tell us one day to enter in the "Joys" of the Lord. I imagine there will be many laughs in the joys of the Lord as there will be no sorrow, death, crying, pain. That is a land where all praise is given to our Lord Jesus Christ and much rejoicing going on for all eternity so yes I think we can get tickled in our eternal home.

We will have bodies (flesh and blood), we will feel, but I think pain will be removed. Pain is a physical indicator that your body is doing something harmful - it is a result of the Fall. It is my belief that these effects will be reversed on the New Earth.

Paul is adamant on a physical resurrection of the body.

The Bible doesn't say anything direct about our "bodies" in Heaven.

But I highly doubt anyone would choose to hurt someone else.

Now, if you wanted to say if a person fell and hit their head on the table - that would be a different matter.

Can we get tickled?

I know that this may sound strange, but I really don't think so.

I, personally, don't think that being tickled is a joy; as a matter of fact, I HATE it.

We will experience pure joy...not some physically-induced state of uncontollable, unpleasant laughter...and the feeling of helplessness when one pins you down and just tickles you?

NO FUN.....anyhow, I think we'll be too busy basking in the glory of God's presence to want to tickle each other.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
