20 years ago, my wife, a nonChristian, left me, committed adultery and divorced me, I did not choose and was willing to forgive her, but she would not, she remarried about six months later. 17 years ago, God lead my true helpmate to me, we, together, have been serving the Lord. Last year, God called me to preach his word, there are people and Churches that will not except me, but they did not call me,,,God did. I do not attemept to change their minds, that is not my job, I am called to preach Gods word.........God Bless all

Pastor Paul:

Jesus is above of all people traditions and doctrines. Jesus has give the rights for remarry, if adultery taken place as we have examined in the beginning of this subject.

Be free to live, where you are now and eagerly seek the will of God in your life. Matthew 19:9 is guarantee for your situation. Don't let peoples opinino depressed to you. This world is full of accuser's and main accuser is a Satan, who want destroy and pick apart of us, but we have the Comforter and Jesus Christ is our Mediator, who will cleanse us from all sin, after we confess to Him our sins.

Paul: be blessed in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks for the support.PetrfiFB. I have no doubt that God called me to preach his word, I may doubt my ears, my eyes and my mind, but my calling, never. God will not call what he can not use, and he will not give the calling, without giving you the ability. I will not turn back, and I will not be bitter at those who cast stones at me,,,,,,,I am in very good company  God Bless all

Folks, forgive me please. I was just looking over my post and it occured to me that I may be coming off as judgemental. Please it was not intended to be so or to cast any stones at anyone. I do not condem someone who has been divorced or remarried. I feel that it is between God and those involved. I was just merely stating the position that is held in the church I attend. So If I have offended anyone please accept my heartfelt apologies. I sometimes tend to be very blunt and short without explaining things fully.

I've been through a very painful divorce BECAUSE I became a believer after 10 years of marriage. It took another 5 before the divorce occured.

Theologically I can justify it but I am certain that God was not honored. I used to read the book of Hosea and laugh at how easy he had it.

Yet, just as Hosea was faithful to his wife God is faithful to us and THAT, my friends, is what he wishes us to be. It isn't a matter of how faithful our spouse is to us.

I jumped out of a frying pan right into the fire and remarried 2 years later to a christian woman. Oy veh. The pagan was easier to cope with because she didn't try to justify her sins with religion. (you can all pray for me if you want to)

It boils down to this. We are called to be faithful, merciful, forgiving, humble and patient. 1 Corinthians 13 says nothing about "getting out of it". Every trial has to be seen through the eyes of a faithful God who has been forgiving and patient with each of us. I believe divorce is only an option if it ultimately has a redemptive reason.

I also believe that a woman who is being beaten unmercifully MUST get out of that situation.

Adultery can be forgiven. Unfaithfulness is not an act but an attitude.

1 Corinthians 7

10 Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. 11But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife.

12But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. 13And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. 14For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. 15But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace. 16For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?

I'm sure glad for this verse...I married when I was totally lost; I married someone heavy into the occult (and still is) and a God-hater. When I converted to Christianity, he despised me.

After 20 years of marriage, he filed for divorce because of my conversion. I did nothing. I just put it in God's hands. When he sent me the papers to sign, I asked him by phone, "Are you sure this is what you want?"

"YES!" he said. So be it. My "ex" is a proud atheist who hates Christians and wanted nothing to do with me once I became one. He divorced me and has since slept around with other females, (by his own admission).

I am confident that I am NO LONGER BOUND in such a case. Further, God has joined me with the most wonderful husband who I cherish. We have the most wonderful, fulfilling marriage in the world. I praise and thank God every day for him.

Be blessed in your marriage. Word of God gives you the rights for that

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
