Nice website... rather a quiet campaign. Not sure how serious the campaign is, though. I didn't go fully through his platform, largely because, with the pool of candidates we already have, I'm not sure about how much of a viable addition he would really be to the field.

ron paul? isn't he the republican that made such inflammatory comments during one debate that giulliani demanded an apology? if that's the same guy, then i think he STINKS as a republican candidate. he's a RINO.

Well I kind of like him. The main reason is that he stirs up the pot a little, usually these debates are so dry, they all say the same thing, everybody is totally predictable, and so he helps that.

He is a Libertarian who became a Republican. So if you are a Libertarian you will really like him. I wouldn't really vote for him, but I like him in the race.

i watched the debate. giulliani may not have interpreted it exactly the way i did, but the way i interpreted it, AND his follow-up response to rudy, was just as damning.

I like him a lot. He doesn't have a chance apart from the GOP, though.

And his comments were misinterpreted on a grand scale.

I have checked his history. The only thing he's done that most Republicans are against is McCain-Feingold, which he has since said was a mistake. He hasn't backed down from his reasons for voting for it, however, and I agree with him on those. There is far too much money changing hands in Washington. It's not a "free speech issue", even though I hate to disagree with fellow republicans on this. You want to make it about free speech, take the money away completely, and make it about speech.

His record on a abortion is unblemished (in spite of things that may have been said 11-12 years ago, and in spite of inflammatory and unsubstantiated stabs at his character), he takes an accurately constitutional view on "gay rights", that being, he's against special treatment (and against marriage), but believes the states have the right to decide the issue (since the constitution is decidedly federalist in makeup). His record is pro-gun, and he's right on regarding illegal immigration.

Anything else, or was it just the basic (and basically wrong) generality?
