Been pondering this for a number of years. In a nutshell, it seems to me that what we as Christians need to focus on depends on "where" we are in God's Endtime program.

If-as some say-Revelation 4:1 signals The Rapture [AND The Rapture has not already occurred] and the {supposed} 7 years of Tribulation, then...Since we Christians won't be here on earth {supposedly}, basically most of the Book of Revelation is not for us. This view doesn't seem reasonable to me, but...

Me personally have been focusing on Revelation 12 and 13 for some time-SEEMS like these 2 chapters are for now/soon. That God The Father and Jesus Christ have been blasphemed for a number of decades/centuries and this is getting much worse much more rapidly than in the past. So-"patience and faith" would be the focus, the corruption/human bioengineering/abortion/Islam/satan&demonic infestation/more indicate "Days of Noah" Genesis 6:1-, "Remember Lot's wife"...

Pretty sure this post is unclear, for which I apologize. Anyway kind of know what I mean and could express this properly?

I understand what you are saying. Prepare yourself for the tribulation spiritually and emotionally because I think the church goes through it.

We are not going to have discuss that this is the final time. What is times? Ever read times, time and a half of time? Using the 1537 Matthew's o.t and 1526 Tyndale N.T

Jeremiah 7 :13 And now, though ye have done all these deeds (sayeth the LORD) and I myself rose up ever by times to warn you and to commune with you, yet would ye not hear me: I called, ye would not answer

Daniel 12 Then heard I the man with the linen clothes, which stood above upon the waters of the flood: when he held up his right and left hand unto heaven, and sware by him which liveth for ever: that it shall tarry for a time, two times and half a time: when the power of the holy people is clean scattered abroad, then shall all these things be fulfilled.

I believe that a time is 500 years, look about how long the pope has reigned in unrighteousness, what is 1750 years of his time, the one in Daniel 7:24-25?

Revelation 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, times, and half a time, from the presence of the dragon.

Do you believe that we have a whole lot of tribulation ahead, those decieved into the mark of the beast will carry false Christianity to the end, whom suffer no adversion as did the saints of God.

i have pondered this as well for awhile now. i believe it is absolutely vital that we be prepared. Jesus' warnings could not be any more clear about the very real possibility of deception. no need to argue the rapture, if it pre-trib great! but if not . . .

also 2 other parts of scripture come to my remembrance every day - 1 is about being prepared as witnesses, to what i wish i was more ready to say and the other is from the book of isaiah about standing in the gap and that one, frankly, leaves me just a little bit scared but also determined.

I believe that we are very near to the rapture. It is so much on my heart to witness to people. I don't want anyone to have to go through the Tribulation. My husband and I have been studying prophecy over the last few years and it is amazing how fast things are falling into place now - governments joining together (European Union), money getting more standardized (Euro), watching Israel and her enemies, the morals of people are in rapid decay. The list goes on and on. I feel like someone hit the fast forward button and I am watching it all unfold in double time!

I know what you mean. For years, I thought the US will always stand with Israel no matter what; however, the lines have gotten very blurred. Sometimes I think believers are more into Israel's roots than they are.

When trying to discuss these things, people say no, statistics indicate that there aren't more earthquakes than before, etc. But when the tangible things start happening; i.e. temple being built, that 7 year agreement - surely more people will see.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
