I agree. But as you got that knowledge from the Word of God, I shared with you knowledge where the Holy Spirit gets the words He is speaking through you from... Jesus.

I agree, but there is a bigger picture in regards to His Words. The words that the Holy Spirit speak are from Jesus.. the fruits of righteousness are from Jesus... Jesus is finishing the work in us through the Holy Spirit.

Neither will the Holy Spirit disobey God or step outisde the role of the Comforter to taking Jesus' place as the mediator between God and man.

I agree there is a work as well as the role of the Holy Ghost, but I was merely stating what is written as you have gone to the Word also in regards to the role of the Holy Ghost. Nowhere did it say to pray to the Holy Ghost.... nor glorify the Holy Ghost. I am not saying to ignore the Holy Ghost. I am merely pointing out that the indwelling Holy Ghost is pointing your attention/focus to Jesus...if you note John 16:9 in how the Holy Ghost witnesses...it is pertaining to Jesus Christ the Lord.

so you see even Jesus said to his disciples that he is going to send them a helper he did not say you do not need the holy sport and all you need is me he helped them as much as he could while he was alive on this earth and when he new his time was up and said to the disciples what was going to happen to them he said it bluntly i am sending you a helper

Right. So the Holy Spirit will not seek to take the glory away from Jesus as the only mediator between God and man. I know the Lord is working in your life. I never said you were not saved or you were not my brother, but you spoke of the Holy Spirit more than Jesus, and even prayed to the Holy Spirit. If you pray about this to Jesus, I'm certain the Holy Spirit will be lifting your sights higher to the One that loved you so much.. He died for you and made you His friend. It is by Jesus... you were able to receive the spirit of adoption... the Holy Spirit. He is called the Helper and the Comforter because Jesus was talking about Him going away.. ascending.... thus the role of the Holy Ghost was Jesus way of saying.. I am with you always... for they all work together as God.... but the invitation is to Jesus and the role of the Holy Ghost is still pointing you to Jesus just as He testified of Jesus and still seeks to glorify Jesus because His name is above every other name.

When other believers glorify the Holy Spirit or worship the Holy Spirit, they open the way for other spirits to come in to steal the spotlight off of Jesus with signs and wonders which is why the indwelling Holy Ghost would never do that since God the Father has declared that the only way to honor God the Father ... is through the Son.... just as all invitations points to Jesus. Yes. We can rest in the fact that the Helper is in us.. but He is still pointing to Jesus to seek His face. That is why we need to be clear in our witness so that those who would go chasing after those other spirits with its signs and wonders, thinking it is the Holy Ghost when His Word says He is in us. ( I know you know this, but it is my experience that those that speak of the Holy Spirit so much as if He is the Head of the Church and not Jesus... Jesus becomes less and less in view that they are forgetting that the Holy Spirit does not speak of Himself.. so why are they? Why are they doing what the Holy spirit is not doing... drawing attention to the Holy Spirit as if He is in the spotlight? Why are they not seeking to glorify Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit in us is wanting us to be doing?)

Anyway... pray about this. It is Jesus' name above every other name, and the Holy Spirit will not step out of line to take the spotlight off of Jesus. Jesus is the Good Shepherd. It is by Him we receive the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is still pointing us to Jesus so no one will be led astray by seducing spirits that would steal the spotlight off of Jesus in the worship place or in our individual lives.

I am not better than you. Just sharing in regards to our faith what the Lord taught me. I am not going to argue with you or anything for I am nothing. That is why I would like to leave this up to Jesus to minister to you through the Holy Spirit in you... so that is why I asked you to consider what I have shared and bring it to Your Lord Jesus in prayer.

than why do you say what you say and i need to seek jesus have i not pointed out on what i feel who the holy spirit is for my self have i not shared openly what i feel the holy spirit does for us while we are living in the real world and have i not said and i wil state this again why do you feel i need to be corrected hear i told you my walk is very strong i know what god did for me on the cross the father the son and the holy spirit work hand in hand have you botherd at all to read what use guys hear on worthy on this topic have been sharing if you botherd to read you would have seen that we also wear strugling in this area

why cant you understand what some one is saying with out thinking i need to be corrected by you when i share i work hand in hand with the holy spirit he is the one who gives me words to say to a non beleiver not me or my head talking

even the apostle paul said never greive the holy spirit so why are you asking me to pray about what you pointed out hear is it becaus i said a book that helped me by benny hinn which is callled good morning holy spirit and i know many christians that have read this book

is this up setting you are you trying to tell me as a person not to allow my self to be manipulated by benny hinn ? as this is a very good book and many pastors even recomend this book to new christians it is sold in christian book stores all over the world my wife to be has aung in benny hinns choir so lets hear it i want to know why you are asking me to pray over what you left for me to read it shows me that you have not heard what i am trying to say hear on what i was dealing with as a man

so tell me how than if i can talk honestly a person like my self or any one else explaine this to a man strugling with porn or what ever he use to hold on to when he was not a christian and do i tel the new brother only to depend on god and jesus as it was the holy spirit that convict me of what i was alowing my self to view it was not man who convicted me

when i was in jail i was only 18 and it was not the gaurd or the warden or the in mate who said jesus loves you find a church as i heard this voice very clear have you been in jail have you worked in the sex industry have you as a man seen what this does to men and young boys who view these magazines have you seen what this does to women and young girls this was my world and i found it very hard to give this life style up even when i was a christian i turned to my old habbits and not once did i tell a person who new me what i was doing i would go to church on a sunday take comunion ask jesus to forgive me and then i would go back to the same old sin as it was the flesh wanting this life style and while the flesh was wanting this life style i was killing the holy spirit whom was sent to me when i got baptized to guide me not once did i listen to the holy spirits prompting he was pulling at my heart and i was saying leave me alone i do not need to hear this

i had to get shakken to see that what i was doing was wrong i had to even ask gods holy spirit to forgive me for bombarding him with the filth i was alowing my self to view

so do you hear what i am trying to say to you as a person why then are you trying to correct me

did not jesus even say that the world wil not belive in me but the holy spirit who i am going to send to help you he will convict those living in sin

i can not convict a person it is gods holy spirit who can do this threw me with me working hand in hand and me not going against him and speaking from my head as a man when i am talking with some one i alaways ask the holy spirit to give me some thing to say to the person i am talking with i never alow my head to do the talking

OK i have just gotten back from doing some things i needed to do and catch up with some people in town

to what you left for me and what you asked me to look over

you said in your post which i read i seem to talk more about the holy spirit than i do about Jesus

simple answer my friend this topic is about battle of flesh verses the holy spirit right ?

if you go and spend some time today or tomorrow read threw the topics to what has been talked on

is it Jesus that guides us threw gods word or is it the holy spirit that guides us threw gods word while we are living in the real world

it seem to me most will only respond with back up scripture which is what i do not believe in doing or wasting space on a topic or post when i post or when i reply to a topic that i can put some in put i share from the heart and from what i as a person have been threw i never share from my head and i never step out of line i know what Christ did for me on the cross that is never going to end i am thank ful for what Jesus did for me and i tel him every day that i am thank full for the second chance he has given me

yet i also say this lord help me not to grieve your spirit help me to be open to the holy spirits leading help me to see that the holy spirit is a real living being

also lord never let me put the holy spirit in a box or bombard the holy spirit with man made doctrine

help me to submit to those above me in my church help me to be the person i am meant to be and help me to understand the gifts that you have given me i ask that your spirit walks me threw and enables me to use my gifts to build your kingdom and never let me get to a point in my life wear i am abusing your gifts or doing what i see many doing and that is miss lead people

so is this wrong for me to even pray like this and ask Jesus as you seem to be pointing out to why i don't talk about Jesus and get Jesus to help me under stand who the holy spirit is they work hand in hand as i said to you in the posts i have left you never against each other

this is why when i share i share to what i did to the holy spirit when i was slipping now do you understand what i am trying to point out to you instead of you trying to correct me i never correct people when i apply to a post i share and i share from what this means to me and if some one wants to go head to head in what i say in a post on worthy than i will go head to head with that person until it is clear to what i have put into a post

what gets me is when some one does not bother to go threw the hole post to see wear people are coming from i do not preach to no one and i do not say you should see the holy spirit the way i have learned to see who the holy spirit is for me as a person this just wastes peoples time when you try to do this and i notice people that have nothing better to do love doing this

i am grounded in a good church i am around some good strong mature Christians i am going to ask you a question and i hope you can again answer me honestly are you committed to a church i am not correcting you hear or iam i preaching to you

by me saying this i have had people who are not committed to a church trying to correct me and when some one that is not committed in a church but spend their time on their own and away from the body of Christ this is very dangerous and its a road one should not be walking on their are no one person Christians in this world we all need each other to learn from and fellowship i believe is very important not just for new Christians but us older and grounded Christians this way in brotherly love we can grow we can suport each other and we can pray for each other when we are down or when the enemy attacs at least a brother or sister in the lord is standing in the gap i do this for my wife to be who is living and pastoring in the philippines every day i spend 2 hours covering her in prayer as my wife is head pastor of her church and has 7 pastors under her and she is only 32 yrs old

do you get what i as a brother am trying to say hear to you so please stop trying to correct me i read what you said i prayed and i do not feel convicted to change the way i have been bought up and how i was taught to understand who the holy spirit is

the books i buy from the Christian book store help me as a person i also have books by billy graham and he is a mighty caring man of god i have books by Nicky Cruz David Wilkerson and as i said Kenneth Copland and Benny hinn and many other books by different Christian authors i have over 4 big boxes of books and teaching guides on the apostles the disciples that i have collected and i do a lot of reading my friend i even have Christian cds and i play the guitar this helps me to worship god in my spare time when i am not in church on Sunday

so if by what i hear right in the post i left which is post number 2 i should have talked on how i was grieving Jesus instead of stating i was grieving the holy spirit is this how you are trying to correct me let me tel you one thing the holy spirit has opened up gods living word in many ways compared to when i was in a dead church and hanging around people who would constantly pull down TV preachers those in leadership roles those that make it big or write books and share how god has turned their lives around i have even heard guys pulling Nicky Cruz and David Wilkerson down at one stage saying they can do better or we have some thing to say to the nation only if people will listen to us

when you start doing things like this to wear you are constantly pulling people down with out hearing what the person has been threw or what they are trying to say you then begin to step on peoples toes and you then begin to offend some one for no reason

so i Will say one thing it is not Damien trying to convict sinners when Damien shares from his heart Damien only speaks of what he has been threw and Damien only shares if this will help build a person up Damien never ignores what Jesus did on the cross for Damien Damien is not that stupid or a fool to do some thing like this Damien is in a good church Damien is submissive to his pastor and to those in his leader ship team as they want to see Damien grow and they want to see Damien move forward and they want to see Damien form healthy relationships with his brothers and sisters to wear Damien does not go off in his little tantrum and try to correct every one Damien meets but he listens and trys to help wear he can

when Damien talks on the holy spirit Damien shares to what the holy spirit means to him when Damien hears Benny hinn or billy graham or Kenneth Copland preach from TV Damien prays and asks the holy spirit to guide Damien threw his word and only take what is going to help Damien grow Damien asks that he does not be judgmental to those men and women who preach on TV as Damien knows they will be dealt with by god if they lead his people astray

and when Damien replys to a post Damien learns to read the post and Damien also reads what other brothers and sisters have shared before Damien even says anything that way Damien is not stepping on any ones toes

i love you as a brother and i have said all i can on this if you can not accept what i have said hear that is fine but please do not try to correct me ever again

i am ilitarate my friend and by alowing the holy spirt to lead me threw gods word many doors have opend to me i have gained frendships from those way smarter then me i have had the chance to share my testimony to many educated people and when i speak i always ask the holy spirit to give me the right words and not once has the holy spirit let me down when i depend on the holy spirit like this

my relationship and the way i see who the holy spirit is to me should not be a problem to you to wear you try to correct me and tell me to pray about it as when ever some one has done this god has deffended me

so i hope i have cleard some things up on why i talk like i talk about the holy spirit as it it the holy spirit who has enabled me to see what was done on the cross for me not man
