I am an RR refugee of sorts. I still go there, but have not liked some of the recent discussions. I have also gone to Infidels and sciforums to debate. Ialso go to a "personal" board of some friends, just to keep up on things. I like worthy boards the best I think.

How do you get to their forum? (Rapture Ready).

I have visited the site and frankly like it a lot.

But I see no way to enter their forum.

You just register?? About the same as here. Their forum is nice, except watch everything you say. The mods are on every jot and tittle there, and you won't have NEARLY the freedom to say what you want as you do here,so beware.

Here is the link for RR boards-but I agree with Sportster-only post if you agree with the mods jot and tittle. They will NOT let you get your point across-scriptural or not. http://www.rr-bb.com/

Another sad thing about that board is that it seems to be full of folks who are EXTREMELY touchy. If it can be taken out of context or even the slightest bit misunderstood,it will be and will be reported to the mods. They are the touchiest bunch of folks I've ever seen in my life and I think the moderators style is a contributing factor to it. Since THEY are extremely touchy themselves,it rubs off on everyone and they,in turn, become 'little moderators' who then go to pappa everytime their feelings are twanged in the slightest. Sad to say,but very true. Christians should be of the toughest skin, letting things slide off with the greatest of ease. Not there..... :x: You got to have a tough skin to just live in this sin soaked world,so I don't know how those folks make it through a day.....

something to think about.....

when you come to my house, there are rules, some are forgiven for a time, but if you are going to live in my house you will follow rules.....

God has rules..... rules of conduct, and such..... rules that will not be forgiven in Heaven...... there are rules on earth we have to follow..... and if we do not follow them, we have to suffer the consequences...... we have to pay the penalty for our deeds.....

in these message boards and chat rooms and such, some one has to pay for them, they are not free... and if I was to set one up, I would also have rules to go by, and I would be looking for monitors as such that would stand by my wishes of how to run the site....

if you were to place a guard on your house, would not that guard have to follow your desires on how to keep your house safe????

if you do not like the rules, then do not frequent that place...... that is your freedom of choice...

something I have found, is just like church buildings, one i know of does not accept new people very well at all, and are very cold to them, being as such, they are not growing at all, their monies are dwendling, their population is dwendling and all for a "country club" atmosphere.....

some of these boards were started by people that were hurt by others in other sites, and decided to break off and start their own so they could set the rules...

I am sure if you started a site, you would set rules, and well, there would probably be people that would be unable to gain access to it, just cause you didnt like them, not even giving them a chance to post.....

jmho.....

Of course you are right Mr and Mrs Mike. It is just that there are very many "rules" that they have that are interpreted by the mods in a strange way. The original moderator of that board has little or no interest in how 'they" interpret the rules. For example-they have a rule that states "no-I'm a better Christian than you are" games. A very nice rule, except when they use it to exclude anyone who doesn't agree with them and that is what they do. If for example you believe that one should be water baptised-and give scriptures for what you believe-they can turn this into "your saying your a better Christian because you are water baptised and I'm not". Pretty soon, you learn what you can say and what you can't-but until then-you are walking on eggshells. They can run the board anyway they want, but most people no longer feel welcome there. I can see why.

Boy,you hit the nail on the HEAD,Waiting. To a T. That is precisely it. If you make rules that are 'floating',where folks don't know what to do,expect problems. That 'better Christian' rule is one of the rules that is killing that board. There can be SO many different interpretations of it. Of course they can make the rules however they wish...and they'll end up losing GUESTS who frequent the board because of it. Or as you said they end up getting all the 'damaged goods' from elsewhere, kind of like a refugee house. Problem is,then THEY start knocking on each other because they may have removed themselves from somewhere where their easily hurt feelings were twanged, but they never changed inside,so even there their feelings get stepped on. Instead of learning to forgive and forget,it gets worse and worse....I made a very simple post once there to a individual and that person took it completely wrong and thought I had 'offended them' and PM'd me about it. I was completely stunned. I wrote back to her explaining the intention was NEVER to hurt her,but she is one of the damaged goods apparently and has a VERY easily disturbed trip wire. As a former guest there, I voted with my feet on their policies...I left. I think they should remember the folks who come there are their GUESTS and should be treated as such. Of course the guest has responsibilities, too, but they need to be clearly disseminated rules and not overbearing..

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
