there were a number of reasons why Jesus asked peter " do you love me" three times in spite of the fact peter denying Him three times.

With each word Love, the word in the greek changes. It is easy to look up.

Peter ended up being a wonder evangelist and I do not believe he shoved spoons down throats with spoiled food on it. The food signifies The word of God and manna from heaven among other things. Manna is sweet and the word of God given id due season is sweet as well.

A cup of cool refreshing water is refreshing and life giving. It is a cup of that adds goodness and love to the Soul That Comes From the Holy Spirit. It lifts up...regenerates and satisfies.

Jesus will leave a flock of sheep to go seek one. Did he not do this when he went to Samaria?
