Where do we go when we die?

I've heard that when we die we don't right away go to heaven. We're in something like a deep sleep, unaware of any thing until Jesus reclaims the world.

Now when Jesus was on the cross one of the men asked him to remember him when he goes to heaven and Jesus if I'm remembering right said that that man would be in heaven with him that day. (correct?  ) Do we go straight to heaven or do we go into limbo until Jesus comes back?

we wait in the grave until the return of Jesus and the resurrection.

What perversion of the bible do you read from? Jesus said to the thief, "Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Thats from the Textus Receptus Authorized KJV Bible. Jesus and the thief went to Abraham's Bosom {paradise} in the heart of the earth.

didnt you read all the post? at no stage did i say that Jesus was lying.

If Jesus hadnt gone to the Fathers presence by the 3rd day how could he have gone to paradise on the friday?

Soul sleep would apply to the righteous who will one day wake up to abide with God; the wicked will be resurrected to judgment and destruction....However, I can't remember ever reading scripture that would lead me to think in that direction.

- She could not describe the beauty and glory she got a glimpse of because it was way beyond human senses. She said that there are even colors that do not exist here, but couldn't describe them.

She also described what I was doing and what the doctors were doing during this brief "death" experience. Amazing!

-When my sister had a heart attack Patsy & I followed the folks she worked with to Dallas AS she had the attack at work & they knew which hospital they had flown her to..Any how we got there BIGG confusion at the nurses station--information gals--They didn't even KNOW if anyone had been flown in-IF a heart-attack--in the last 24hrs--then 12hrs--then 1 hr.--INcompetent people DRIVE me up A WALL-& I get kinda testy??nawww-wrong werd--MEAN--LOUD--INSISTENT--ESpecially when you know they're giving you their little run-around-ploy--I get UP-close & PERSONAL man--woman-Doc--nurses-big strong muscular attendents{& thats the female ones}& I don't know IF I scare the living daylights outta them with this WILDE-CRAAZZY-LOoK{some folks say I get} in my eyes & they're scared I'LL kill them OR if they're afraid they'll KILL me or whuTt but you know within 5 minutes I knew what room my sister was in--she had already had surgery & was recovering quite nicely thank yuse & a lady was on the way down to ESCORT us to her-- :oww: :hug: isn't that just ducky??

-any how her daughter{in her 40s}my niece--I had helped raise--changed her diapers babysitting service FREE{for a lotta yrs.} of course--anyhoo--she comes RUNNIN up the hallway--justa cryin--bawlin--screamin- astronominical {wilde-eyed---runs in the family}-hysteria in motion--ohhh my mommy--ooo-my mommy--long reddish-brown Italian hair justa flowin-straight back due to wind pressure during final assauilt on last 20ft. of hallway to within 3ft of my erstwhile--now calm--cool-collected self--SO I slap her IN the face--3 fingers--she abruptly ceases ALL emotional outbursts & I say STOP THIS GARBAGE!!NOW!!--she did--NOW she can hear that her mommy is doing fine & doesNOT need hysterical BAWLINg-screaming 40yr.ole child falling all over her & getting her nice new backless hospital gown all WETT--sOOOOO--ya see having CONTROL of hospital room attendees is absolutely necessary IF you want your loved one to SURVIVE all the idiotic visitors who already have them in the cold-damp-dark-black-lonely-ground--

Jesus told the thief that he would be with him that day. The NKJV ignores the Textus Receptus over 1200 times. Things are left out or reworded. Paradise was in the heart of the earth,also known as "Abraham's Bosom", where all the old testament saints went at death,and through the shed blood of Jesus,they all got to go to heaven,and heaven is the paradise that Paul was talking about in 2 Cor. 12.
