Gosh! I don't think that we are commanded to love satan. I think that the command is for people only. Satan is not a person. I can't even begin to imagine loving satan.

oh my goodness... I forgot about that. Wipe that thought from your thought process. There is no love for satan and his entourage. When I was young in the Lord I use to feel sorry for the bugger because there was no salvation for him. Cause he was thrown out of heaven.

Let be put it as simple as I can. Hate Him. Nowhere are we commanded to Love anything but Jesus and people. Even when others in the word of God fell prostrate before a angel they were admonished an corrected. Don't ever feel Sorry for the enemy who is mapping out your demise!!!!

It is a trick. A deceptive one at that!!! So tigger focus forgiveness and love...and all those pearls God gave you on some one worthy. Patricia1

Dear Readers,

I don't believe that God has ever told us to love Satan, or that God has ever said he loves satan(notice the active usage)...if he has then give me a verse and let me see....otherwise I believe we should hate Satan...does it not say in Pslams 139 "Do I not hate those, Lord who hate you. Yes, I hate them with perfect hatered." Because We love God so much, should we not hate those who want to hurt God? I believe we should.

Dear Readers,

I have to agree with that above in bold and itliczed...there right. Satan is out to get you and trip you and take your joy and happiness, why feel pity for him? When he is even out to hurt God?! He has his own choice, because God forces none of his creation do to anything, he made his choice and it was against God.

This has been on my mind. God told us to love. So are we suppose to love satan to. Is it just humans that God is talking about cause God don't hate, he teaches us not to hate. So here is where I'm lost at. Do we hate satan or love him like God does.

No You are not supposed to love satan. You are supposed to hate satan. That's satan trying to convence you a lie. Trtying to twist the truth. it's a lie. don't believe it you are supposed hate evil. satan will take the truth and twist it to sound like the truth. Reamber when satan came to jesus when he was fasting. satan told he to jump and if he did the angels would save him and then jesus said thal shalt not tempt GOD. satan quoted schripture it sound like the truth but he was twisting it reamber if it come's from satan it's a lie always.

So...........what you're saying is.........

:noidea:

Why do you blush?

I think that what is not commonly understood here, is that the devil and his angels CHOSE to rebel against God, and (in my understanding, at least), there is no way back for them.......nor do they want it!

Do you see the evil in the world? Do you see when innocent people are beaten to death in the streets? Do you see when one human being can inflict such unspeakable torture upon another human being, and show him no mercy.....though he begs for his life....

That is the result of the devil and his evil angels.

They have set out to destroy all that God, in His love, stands for.

Do you really want to still show them love?

Dear Readers,

Yes...maybe demons need love, but they will never have it because love is God and God is love and they are seperated from God, therefore they know not love, or how to love. There out to take what they can from you to hurt God? If there against God, should we not hate that which is evil? That which is against our hevenly father;God?

well I never thought I would play devils advocate

Ok ..just a thought .....

..

hatred begets hatred which when met with hate begets more hatred

love begets love

If hatred is met with love will it not be more effective in killing /banishing/ destroying hatred ???

Yes demons will go to hell and God says that is the right place for them ...I have no problem at all with that BUT I do have a problem with being told to HATE anything or anyone ....if my body /mind/soul is a temple for God then no hatred should be allowed to sully that temple.

I feel I can rebuke / ignor/ fight against evil but the word hate is destructive in itself :noidea::blink:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
