Occasionally Mathqueen, regrettably I have to go off on those under my supervision as well. It always leaves me feeling deeply sorrowful that it had to come to that. It also bothers me that I felt pushed to the point of needing to.

The UP side though is that I rarely ever need to do so a second time with the same individual.

so Mathqueen....where did you get this idea that perfection is needed? hey you are human. That young woman may have needed to hear what you had to say. I bet you do not go off often and although you wish it came forth in a different way, It was needed to be said. Perhaps God blinded you memory cos it was Him talking to her and I bet although of the way you felt it seemed worse. And therein lies my problem. I expect perfection of myself in my profession. I recognize that that is silly, and I need to let it go. How wonderful to hear someone else mention my very problem!

As for the girl, you are correct: I NEVER go off, so it's startling when I do. Which makes it mean so much more...we shall see what tomorrow brings with her attitude.

Hubby's good. He says he's going to the men's get-together at church Saturday morning. Pray that the enemy's obstacles will not keep him from going!!

I use to be exactly like that and recognize it when I see it. I felt and diguised things under' i am doing this for God and it has to me perfect' hahahehee

I know your Spirit by the Spirit so I know about that girl thing and I most certainly pray that He goes and gets soo blessed, edified and filled with all that he needs...in Jesus name. It is so much more a effort for him. If he can think of the rewards only..We all have been there. I love you

I feel like this a lot of times. I'm a buyer of aircraft engine parts, which is really interesting, but sometimes i wonder, do I even know what I'm doing. I've been doing purchasing for 18 years now, and still feel incompentent. But I try to do my work for God's honour and try my best to be what He wants me to be in my job, for after all if it was'nt for Him, I would be without an income.

I just got back my last semester's student evaluations. Boy, did I get a ton of hate mail! A few were quite vicious.

Talk about having a confidence-shattering experience.

Sometimes all you can do is lay it before the Lord, get yourself in your most pious state of mind, and ask to Him: "He-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-l-l-p!"

in my job, i get monitored frequently on my phone calls. the frustrating thing is that they only seem to choose the ones in which i leave out 1 little technical point and completely ignore the more than a few that flowed perfectly. aaargh!! they are out to make sure i miss a perfect 100 !! (for some reason, every call is not perfect - oh well, i guess it's just me )
