I suppose I misread your post, glory. Ever since I got here, some arts lady and a wierd guysname joe fransico or something, were quite rude.

Well, truthfully, being a Christian doesn't make one immune from being rude to others but 'arts lady' and 'joe fransico' are usually not guilty of this. I, however, have often gotten carried away and am trying to overcome that. You can learn here and see the 'other side', so to speak. Don't go the Christian bashing route though; it just won't fly. And, on the other hand, believers have to learn to talk to nonbelievers instead of preaching at them. Now....I'm off to take heed of my own advice!

But I have no wish to argue. It is part of my long experience in Christ that there are those who do not wish to be convinced and those who could never be convinced. That's fine with me. I see no point in arguing the case.

What continually surprises me is how many who state they would never be persuaded otherwise than in what they already think, keep challenging those who they say are completely wrong in what they believe. Surely a logical and rational person who was convinced of the futility of an argument would not wish to take part in one.

Between those claiming to be Christian I can understand in depth discussion between them as to what that title means, but for somebody who is adamant that Christianity doesn't make sense to keep arguing with Christians seems to me to be quite foolish, unless they secretly hope one day to be persuaded that it does.

I have no doubt at all, not the slightest, that the love of my Heavenly Father is real, but what others think is entirely up to them. Sad that they never experience the comfort and warmth of that love, and miss out by continually arguing that it does not exist, but that is a personal choice.
