What do you think about being judged??

Learning who you are in Christ may help. I used to get very angry when people judged me in a self righteous manner. I studied up on God's love for me and on how God saw me and once I understood that it didn't matter to me what anyone else thought as I KNEW what God thought. I do still listen when someone judges me but now it is to see if what they say has any merit in my life or not. If they are just being self righteous I ignore it. As I got told once: "don't carry someone else's baggage" (this advice has helped me more than a few times).

Judged by whom! Judgement is when a completed sentence is handed down.

constructive criticism is always welcom...Not swalloed easily depending How it is said.

Criticism to demean your value due to jealousy or envy--I say You're entitled to your opinion and God Bless you anyway...It gets to them

If it is a consequence of your own behavior, I ask the other to forgive me and ask God to change me.

Jesus did not even come into this world to Judge.

For you dear sister it triggers a multitude of old wounds that still need healing. Are you seeking pastoral counseling? Weekly?

Jesus will help you along. I just dont care much for what people say.

Wow, so many of you have wonderful ways of dealing with the issue of being judged. I liked the one who posted about ' seeing if there be any truth in what was said/ judged'( I wrote that more in my manner of reading it then the actual typing of the original poster).

Considering that there seems to be so much indifference in today's society, I am always moved when there is still someone left, who will speak the truth in love. It is not an easy thing to do. And if someone were to care enough to do that for me, then I should rejoice!

Are you saying that I judge others? of course I've been guilty of this but I don't think it's something that I do often.

No, my post was not in response to your post. I don't think you judge anyone, that I have seen. I'm sorry if it looked like it was.

Actually, it was just in response to the OP and some other posts that took the Word of God out of context...
