How do I witness about my faith to a women who needs to hear it but won't listen when I do. I have prayed about her for a long time and I finally have decided to witness to her but I know that she won't listen to me. Do I still witness anyway or not.She needs the Lord's love badly but I don't know how to do that with her temperment and her attitude. So any help or suggestions you can give me would be so helpful

if a person will not listen, then do silent witness..... your actions will speak much more louder then any word(s) you can use....

what is it that people see in you that they would want to have? are you different then anyone else? do you swear? curse? talk about people even if it is true? talk down to people? do you smile on a regular basis or are you a grump? are you a complainer or a person that is delighted about things around them, thankful for all things??? do you tell jokes? ( i have found that the pleasure in telling a good joke, yes, clean ones, is gone, i have no desire..., this does not mean others are not suppose to, i no longer do, just dont enjoy hearing them anymore either....) if you do, what kind?

our silent witness must be one above and beyond blame, no fingers at all can be pointed our way..... not just innocent, but blameless..... we are to give no reason for anyone to find any fault in us.... other then worshiping God....

and continue PRAYING PRAYING PRAYING....

you did not give us an idea of how long this has been going on.... we have a neighbor (who is thy neighbor? ) that we have been praying for now for 9 years....... for the first 4 of those years, it was almost unbearable to even be in the same area, with in 1000 feet of him with out feeling sick to my stomach..... through prayer for God to change him.... i started praying God, teach me to love him.... then Lord, teach me to love him more...... 5 years ago, the ice broke..... there is still some very cold pieces, but not near what there was before..... three years ago, i invited him to tour Shiloh, he said it would be a cold day ........................... before he would ever be seen in a church.... Shiloh is just what it says it is, it is not a church, but HOUSE OF PRAYER...... since then he has even gotten more warm.... very friendly.... no longer cusses when we carry on a conversation...... who knows.... one day the Lord may touch him and he may just be the most on fire person this town has seen in a 100 years.... stranger things have happened.d.... do I want it to be me? no, not necessarily... that does not matter, the Lord will put the right person in his path at the right time... I may not even be in the country to see it, and i may never know it until we reach Glory.....

do not give up on your friend and be a true friend.... do not push or pull, for if you push, they push back and they get further away..... if you pull, they too will pull and well it becomes a tug of war and some one always slips and then the person is again, further away.....

be you.... mostly, witness by action..

as far as not listening.... Jonah said the people of Ninivah would not listen.... he ended up being disappointed in the end when they did listen and repented.... he became mad.......

dont do the same thing......

Preach the gospel at all times, but use words only when necessary

~ St Francis of Assisi

The difficulty with the Francis of Assisi concept is that he lived in a different era. Possibly back then if you offered a kindness then the person receiving it might attribute that to God and your relationship with Him - today such attribution is unlikely.

I find it is the combination of works and words that work the best.

The balance between the two may well vary from person to person [both the witness and the person being witnessed to]

I have heard many stories from people who have witnessed to someone and actually had that person either get angry at them or laugh at them. Then years later they encounter that person who is now a Christian and are told that "You planted a seed in me that day." Thats all we can do sometimes, is plant seeds. Say something, don't nag, but you will feel better if you at least witness to her once. Make it a positive experience, about how God has done so many good things in your life - just be a light.

Sometimes you just have to sit back and pray and allow God time to bend and shape her as HE wills....His will..........not yours! Amen?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
