These are a bit large and the last has pictures that should be revied. It is a pretty decent look at "Mr. President" Everyone should read through all of these before voting for Geroge.

Like I have said several other times John Kerry is no better, but there are others to vote for. If these require membership let me know and I'll move them to my website. I do have permission to do that if necessary.

OK man....I'll keep trying to find something of substance...but I'm less inclined to spend much time on it now.

But who else is there to vote for?

A vote or NON-vote for Bush IS a vote for Kerry so it's a matter of choosing our poison, imo.

yod,

Because your question (an excellent one) went off topic for this thread, I took the liberty of starting a new thread here to answer it.

Hi Sam,Cutting edge has been printing stuff about Bush since the Iraq thing began and I have to admit they may just be right, because I have had my doubts about his claim to be a christian since he came into office. In fact I asked the same question last year on this same board, and I never got the notion from that paper, either.

my question then was, If the President is so ready to proclaim Christ as his Lord and saviour and profess that he is a born again christian, why should it be so hard for him to publicly renounce all these societies that he allegedly belongs to, and come clean with the people who he is supposed to be representing. Okay he might lose his job, but that would a lot better than losing his soul, and that's exactly what would happen to him. if he doesn't fully repent and receive Jesus.

Now after saying that, I personally dont think it will make ant difference to the US, spiritually, in as much to make a difference to God's plan in fulfilling His prophecies, but at least he is, morally, the best choice you have at the moment, because of his stance on abortion and homosexuality. It is my own belief, from reading scripture, that if he proceeds to back this road map for peace between Israel and Pallestine,he will be severely dealt to by God. So regardless of your president's standing with the Lord, and only he knows that, only those who endure until the end will be saved which ever country you are living in, whether the counties leader is good or bad.

So what I am saying is this. I've been a subscriber of the C.E.paper for years and what they are saying has a lot of truth in it and have no doubt their intentions are honourable, and I can weed things out for myself, because I have been reading conspiracy theories for years but there are a lot of young christians reading our posts and I'm inclined to think they have enough on their plate to get on with their relationship with Christ, without all this other stuff, which in unproven in any case.

Sorry this is so long, I even surprised my self, but you'll get my drift.

John brother,

Glad someone can see things the way they are. We dont have a prez down here, we have a Prime Minister, but we know where we stand with her. She is a self-professed agnostic of questionable sexual persuation, but at least we, who are christian, know we wont be held accountable for her beliefs. All we can do is pray for her as we have been instrcted by our Lord.

cheers,

eric.

Eric, the reason I post is because this election is very important for the entire world. I personally will not vote for either of them and will vote third party. Have not made up my mind yet. Weird things are happening in this world and we'll have to see how the summer goes.

You have to start somewhere in getting these things going.

As for posting fort the new christians, I disagree. Most of us here have had the time to grow spiritually in the lord and I don't think a new christian is going to have that much time to grow, and it is important that we all really know what is going on and not let it sneak up on us.

While I could be wrong, it appears to me and a lot of others we are in a time like the first century church when we must grow up quickly. Jesus did not hold back with the apostles of the pending doom for them, he wanted them to be expecting those things coming.

It is time for work and I must go for now.

Sam

Sam, I agree this election is very important for the entire world, absolutely and positively. but not as important for us half a world away as it is for the American citizens at home and abroad. But I cant agree about the christians who are just growing in the Word. They need to be nourished and encouraged in Who Christ is and His purpose for what He did on the cross and to grow in Him. Maybe they haven't much time to realise what's going on in the world and maybe they have got years and years. Who knows? In any event if they are solidly grounded in the word and devote their lives to serving Him, then it wont matter if everthing goes belly up next week, so why confuse them now with all this conspiracy jazz. Let them rejoice and grow in the love and the fellowship of their Saviour. Some who visit these forums are only kids and very young adults who are struggling to come to grips with salvation and what it entails.

Well you could be right, but I dont think anything is going to sneak up on us, Sam, I think we will have ample warning.

Anyway thanks for answering my post and have a good day......eric.

This is a kind of a ps to my last post, Sam. About three or four years after I made my committment to The Lord, and I was an old man then, hungry for the truth, I began reading some books written by a very well known evangelistic writer and lecturer, who spent many years, until he died a couple of years ago, travelling the world, ministering about the end times. One of his pet subjects was about the conspiray theories, about the Illuminati, masonry and about the symbols on the back of the one dollar bill, and the pyramid and the eye on the top and the streets of Washington designed like some witchcraft signs etc.etc. Well I wont go into detail unless I want to take the time trace this info back a bit, but I became fairly interested in his ministry to the point it was taking my focus off Christ and Him crucified and became interested in eschatology. Two years ago when he went to be with the Lord I unsubscribed from his family newspaper and began reading the word and I signed up with Worthy Boards, where I have been ever since. Now, today. I keep an open mind about it all and concentrate on seeking the truth that is in His word and not man's speculation.

Golly I have never writtrn such long posts before,...............I dont think.

Hey have a nice day, Sam.

Eric, I understand where you are at and I reallydon't disagree. I didn't bring the subject up here for quite a time because of the reasons you post here, for it does take some time to understand. I mainly brought it up because I can see people putting some faith in our present leaders and think everything will be ok if we can elect this one or that one and I and others really just want people to understand that they are all really one and have a singel agenda and not to put faith in them to fix our problems or help the christian life. It simply is not thier agenda. One talks out of the left side of his/her mouth while the other out of the right while both walking to the same destanation. It is easy to get caught up in their different approaches and can lead you to places you would normally would ot go while getting caught up in their debates.

Once a person has seen or heard of the background of the golobalists it is not so hard to see between the lines of things and realize what is happening. I have spent a lot of time going through this but it has been over a very long period of time. When one of us that has studied bring up something you and some others undestand and either except it or let it go, and that is what we should all do. Heavens there is only about 10 percent of the stuff on the net that I read and less than that I except as probable truth, but it took me years and a lot of books before the internet to learn that. The same holds tru here for worthey boards. There is a not here that I don't agree with, but I draw the line at making fun of people when I disagree with them about something or just don't understand.

It is getting late and 1:30 comes early so I must move on.

Sam

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
