That is a good question. I like your threads!!!

Since I have been saved my eyes have been opened. I am able to see others for who they are, and not what the world tells me they are. I can see more of their heart. So I am able to be patient with them, and love them for the hurting child that they are.

Also I have been opened to see the sin in others. Like before I was saved, I knew that we all were sinners, and after, hanging out with my parents was really aggravating. It is like I have an intolerance of sin, I hate being around it.

I see a change in my attitude. Where before I was WAY TOO concerned about what others think about me. Now my worth and my being is found in Christ. I am a beautiful child of God, a pearl of Great price. God loves me for who I am including my scars, and it doesn't matter what others have to say.

I used to totally be shy, but now I have a new boldness. LOL, sometimes it scares me, the things that pops out of my mouth....good things, verses, and it is almost like I am preaching. :D my friends always tease me about it because accidently I brake out into praying or preaching. It is weird lol. God is moving, which is good.

I now give the glory to God. Where before it was about ME, about MY talent. Well NOPE! Not to us, but to your name be the glory. It ain't about us, and now when I get a compliment, I just praise the creator, instead of myself.

I am a fairly new Christian, not a babe, but a toddler so to speak. I have much growing and learning yet to do.

God rocks!!!!

This is a good question! I think if we don't see a change, we need to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith - born again.

But then, we grow and develope in spirts, sometimes so slow and gradual, we might not see any change at the time.

I was saved as a child, but God didn't call me to ministry until I was 39, that is when I saw the big change take place. It was like I was in the army - but just the reserves and I was like Private Benjamine when I was actually called into duty, it was quite a shock, not expected, not what I had thought of being the Christian life.

Surprised by suffering, but it was the suffering that was needed to mold and purify me to conform me to Jesus more.

It worked, God has made me a useful vessel, now serving God and mankind, working for the advancement of His Kingdom, like the other says, all for His glory.

I know if left to myself, I would not have done the good works of the Lord.

In doing His will, He has made me glad, I had the peace before, but now I have the joy too.

God has done a great work on my husband during this same time too, through suffering, and we both now sing praises to our King, looking forward to what's coming next. WE can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!

Can't do anything without Him. He has taught us so much, being yoked together, letting Jesus lead, but right in step together, to accomplish His purpose.

God bless you,

mercy

Like going from a dark room into one with the light on...my eyes were opened to the knowledge of the Lord. I once was blind, but now I see. Then something really miraculous..I became aware that I was forgiven of all my sin and free from it's bondage...my want too's changed. Peace came in where fear once rested, joy took the place of dispair, and my greatest desire became a hunger to know Him more.

I used to know about Jesus, now I know Him.

I have grown so humble I'm downright proud of my humility!

LOL! That is funny Leonard!

I was saved at an early age and rededicated my life at 17. I wasn't progressing alot spiritually as a teenager and young adult.

The past year though has been a whirlwind of change and brokeness. Once I joined a spirit-filled church on fire for God, I began to notice God changing me. I have a boldness that is supernatural (cause I tend to be shy), all I can think about is Jesus and how I can serve Him. He is always in my thoughts. My prayer life has finally mirrored the verse to "pray without ceasing". I live in a constant state of prayer. I don't care what the world thinks of me and I can worship God in spirit and in truth. I have such a long way to go, but I am thankful for where God has brought me to. The main change in my life is the revelation that it is not ever about me, it is all about Jesus. I can't wait for the future, it is going to be exciting! :oww:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
