PetriFB is a brother here on Worthy,

he is solid from what I have been able to see (read and such).

Petri does his research and studies.

I have read almost all (if not all) his posts, he is kind, and strong, and will not bend.

He does not argue, he does not do much on the debate.

I know a bit of his culture, and that is quite different then ours in the USA.

I have spent some time in Finland, where I stayed was about half way between the Artic Circle and the northern boarder, in a village called Yli-Kitenen (spelling, been a long time (almost 30 years ago) spent time in Helsinki, Ivalo, Roveniemi, Sodankyla, and Kemi. the temps in Yli_kitenen, were at a pretty constant -40 deg C the entire time i was there. we would ski from dawn to dusk....

one day i would love to go back and visit again.

most people in the USA do not realize that some Finns do not count us as friends, but as enemies, this would be some of the more mature generations. During WWII we were enemies with an ally of theirs and we were an ally with an enemy of theirs.

I stayed at a house that I refer to as having the original Central Heat, it was built around the fire place, this fire place could be stoked from each room of the house, and each room of the house would benefit from the heat/stoking from the other rooms, had an iron door on each side. the second floor benefited from the heat as well. the Kitchen stove would keep a pot of coffee hot all the day long and when ready to cook would add some wood to the kit stove. it had in door water, just start pumping away..... other facilities were out back, exit the rear door of the house, walk on the ice about 15-20 meters, turn right and go another 5 meters and turn left and enter the door. the cattle shared the same pit.

One evening, I was walking around the yard and well, I had seen the northern lights before, but this evening, it was really clear and crisp, and the lights were more beautiful then i had ever imagined, multiple colours, curtains of them, moving as a curtain might move in a slight breeze. I found a spot that was almost the shape of a chair in the snow/ice and sat back and just enjoyed the view for about a half hour.

the weather there, even though it was -40 C ( the only place the C and F scale meet) was warmer feeling there then in Iceland at 0 C ( 32 F ), for there was no wind or moisture to cause it to feel colder. I would come in from an hour or so of cross country skiing, and i would be unable to move my mouth to talk, for the moisture from my breath and gathered on my beard and mustache and froze solid, it would be only a few minutes though and it would melt once i entered the house. Aila, Sinikka and me would cover about 20 - 30 K a day when we would ski ( those were my in my younger days when i was still in good shape )

The Sauna is totally different then what we have for a sauna, we use it to just get hot, there it is for bathing, and yes, it is totally wonderful as Sinikka would say " It is Wonderful to have a sauna bath " and she was 100% correct, 210 + deg, using a wood stove in a birch lined bath house, with small stones in a pan on top to add some water to, and a wood burning boiler setting next to it, we would load up the boiler with snow through out the day, and had a couple wash tubs with snow in them next to the boiler, to reload as needed, the stove and the boiler would be fired up in the noon time frame, and laundry would be done in the afternoon, and hung to dry, then when it was done, it was Bath time..... yes, it is WONDERFUL... Onni, loved his birch branch.... i had to sit away from him, he would get the air moving so much the heat would just get so intense it was almost unbearable, that is until i learned how to handle it..... then, the fun part, out side we would go, and have as snow ball fight, and rub snow all over us ( shhhheeesh, the first time I almost went in to shock, like jumping into the Arkansas river in Wichita Ks on New Years day...... )

fishing in the winter? yea, done that too... I am glad they kept the hole opened, for it would be harder to cut a new one each time.....

anyways, it was a blast, and would love to still go back.... what a wonderful vacation that was.

time for me to go to work....

I'm not sure that I would label Chuck Pierce a heretic because he sells different kinds of anointing oils. I mean, you can make it from olives or you can make it from veggies or whatever.

I don't know why that would be a problem rising to the level of some of these other charges against people?

I really don't like speaking against people

but basically anyone who preaches that we can live for the Lord while avoiding a cross is not kosher in my book. Anyone who is not humble is opposing God. Anyone who thinks God is constantly searching for ways to make us wealthy for the purpose of gathering to ourselves is just plain greedy.

Doesn't matter what denomination or theological stream they come from....

I don't think we should get our faith or our church from the mass media, and this to me is the start of many many problems.

Attend a real church, with a real statement of faith and a real pastor who you can talk to and eat with and commune with and who will baptize you and your family. No Church should be so big that you cannot sit down and eat a meal at your pastors house as a family.
