God has not stopped speaking to us what so ever!!!!!!!!!!!

He speaks to us in many many many ways, even the small still voice.

To hear the small still voice, one must, I say again, MUST, be in a place where they can hear Him. That means, NO TV, NO RADIO, NO SERMONS, NO CHILDREN, NO PARENTS, NO FRIENDS, NO GAMES, NO FANS, NO AIRCONDITIONING, NO NOISE WHAT SO EVER, for if there is any noise, even our own thoughts, we can drown out the Voice of God.

God's FULL voice, spoken out loud, would bring a person to their knees.... let me rephrase that, HIS HOLY VOICE WILL BRING A PERSON PROSTATE BEFORE HIM, IN TOTAL HUMBLENESS, in awe, in worship.

God has not changed His ways, man has changed in his ways.....

how many people have had the privilege to prepare a meal and eat with God??

How many people have had the privilege to see God in person ON EARTH???

How many people have been brought up to the Third Heaven??

How many people have been blessed with dreams?

How many people were awaken by God's voice?

how many people have had visions?

How many people have been able to prove (with science or math) that Christ is (not was, IS) both Divine and Mortal at the same time???? ( My grandfather did, and i was too young to have written it down nor did i understand it at that time )

How many people have ran from God? and how many of them stopped running and did as they were bid to do?

How many people have continued on their own way after acknowledging God calling them? (He who sets his hand to the plow and looks back is worthy or unworthy !?!?)

God is speaking to us all the time, Fasting and Praying has lost its power, for we are not doing it as our prophets of old, or for that matter, even those of not so old.....

just 100 years ago, thats right, only about 100 years ago, the Non-Pentecostal churches, were more pentecostal then the pentecostal churches are today.....

Why do you think it is so???

maybe it is because, they spent time on their faces before the Lord, seeking His Ways.... Praying and Fasting....Believing in His Holy Hands..... making themselves available to be used by God in anyway God saw fit.... maybe they counted the cost....

God's plan is Free, but it will cost you everything you have to do it...... Salvation is a gift, a wonderful Gift, but how many people have really dug inside the package to see what it really there for them to have and use?

the Gift is Salvation, but with it come

A New Heart (A repentant heart), A new creature, a new man (or woman),

a new out look on life, A New attitude, a new love, and a new life (one that we no longer live for ourselves), The Fruit of the Spirit also come with this wonderful gift ( Joy, Peace, faith, patience (long suffering), love, joy, gentleness, goodness,

Meekness, temperance)

it also brings with it many other gifts, like the Gifts of the Spirit, Tongues, Interpretation, Prophecy, Discernment of spirits, Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom, Faith, Miracles and Healing.

We are even taught that God will pour His Spirit out upon all flesh, and there will be dreams and visions and prophecy and all sorts of things....

Until we are separated (physically) from God, there will and is a need for God to speak to us, ANY WAY HE WANTS TO, to include A Loud Full Voice (BOOOMING), a small still voice, dreams, signs, words through those who will listen, to those seeking His Holy Face.

many people will tell you that tongues and interpretation are not for today, but they will pray for a healing.... Why? are they not all Gifts of the Spirit? and is it not up to the Spirit to decide who gets which Gift and for how long? or is it now up to man?

is it up to man to decide who God speaks to? or if God wishes to speak to some one? or when? or how?

If you wish to have God speak to you, SEEK HIM, diligently, daily, hourly, and give God a tithe of your time....

yes, that is right, a tithe of your time. every day..... that would be about 2.4 hours (2 hours, 24 minutes). how many people give God this personal time? time that there is nothing else to preoccupy them. no kids, no parents, no spouses, no cooking, no work, no computer, no books (other then the Bible) no out side distractions, not even thoughts of plans for tomorrow, just you and God.....

If we would give God this 2.4 hours every day, what would you hear when God speaks to you? I already know, and I am not alone in this. you have read how others have been blessed by God's Holy Voice, and I am sure they have not dedicated as much time. (2.4 hours a day equates to 16.8 hours a week being a 7 day week, not taking in to account that we are to set one day aside for Him anyways).

can anyone attest (honestly) to giving God 2 hours and 24 minutes aday? I CAN NOT! and wont pretend to, I have tried, and will continue to do so, but as of yet, i have not been that faithful to the Lord.

I also agree with Lady...:24:

God can and does "speak"....

I had an experience similar, and i so much thought it to be an "audible"voice that i turned around (while outside) and "looked" and thought: "who said that?" :24:

My scripture reference is John 10:27 "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them and they follow me"

Also, in same book and chapter Jesus talks of His sheep: John 10:5 "but they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice"

Although i believe one can hear directly from God in an audiable way, i believe the Lord leads and speaks to us mostly through His Word. God can do what He wants...and to limit our God by saying He only did that way back when....well...i think that limits God and is a complete underestimation of our Most High, Most Powerful Lord!!

Blessings!

Cindy

well said :noidea:

through His Word

through other people

through circumstances

through nature (His creation)

through an audible voice

God speaks!

In this world there is no end to opinions. However, did you ever read Psalm 29?

Psalm 29

A psalm of David.

1 Honor the Lord, you heavenly beings;

honor the Lord for his glory and strength.

2 Honor the Lord for the glory of his name.

Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

3 The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea.

The God of glory thunders.

The Lord thunders over the mighty sea.

4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;

the voice of the Lord is majestic.

5 The voice of the Lord splits the mighty cedars;

the Lord shatters the cedars of Lebanon.

6 He makes Lebanon’s mountains skip like a calf;

he makes Mount Hermon leap like a young wild ox.

7 The voice of the Lord strikes

with bolts of lightning.

8 The voice of the Lord makes the barren wilderness quake;

the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks

and strips the forests bare.

In his Temple everyone shouts, “Glory!”

10 The Lord rules over the floodwaters.

The Lord reigns as king forever.

11 The Lord gives his people strength.

The Lord blesses them with peace.

The Lord can speak audible or to a certain individual as we see happen to Saul when he was struck with the light of the Lord (Acts9: 3-5) on the way to Damascus. However does he speak today? Based on Psalm 29, if the Lord's voice is as terribly powerful and commanding as that (and even more so), there would not be people who disobey God after hearing him so directly. Didn't the people of Israel, shy away from God after hearing his voice on Mt. Sinai? (Exodus 20:19) Before that only Moses and a few other people heard him!

However, the voices of Angles are still audible. I've heard them! Many people confuse them (Angles) with God, I did also many times.. but never have I heard the voice of the Lord as Psalm 29 says.. read Exodus, Numbers and the other books of the Bible. God doesn't speak to everyone, but his Angels do.. God reserves his face to face conversation (similar to Moses) with only the most Holy.

Numbers 12:6-8

6 And the Lord said to them, “Now listen to what I say:

“If there were prophets among you,

I, the Lord, would reveal myself in visions.

I would speak to them in dreams.

7 But not with my servant Moses.

Of all my house, he is the one I trust.

8 I speak to him face to face,

clearly, and not in riddles!

He sees the Lord as he is.

So why were you not afraid

to criticize my servant Moses?”

The voice of demons I've heard as well... and they can be heard by all, as I've experienced during one spiritual battle.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
