i posted this somewhere else in the forum but i had an unction to post it somewhere else so that more people could see it. idk if this is the correct place to post this so mods please place in correct spot if necassary.

please read all of this as it may help bring you a deeper knowledge of christ. it deals with my experiences and my walk previously. it is about the importance of obedience.

1Ch 28:9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

this is the scripture God led me to when i had fallen in sin and then repented. he will give you chance upon chance but there is a point when you can forsake (turn away) Him and he will cast you off forever, as scripture says.

also look into the word dog/dogs in scripture.

2Pe 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Pro 26:11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly. (backsliding)

Php 3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

before i repented this is the scripture God gave me when i asked for him to speak to me in his word:

Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

this sums up if you can be cast off:

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

however God always makes a way If we obey and are humble:

Ecc 9:4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

praise God for he is our salvation. obedience is so very important.

Joh 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (King James Version)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Salvation is a gift from God, not something we work for. The gift is free, because Jesus paid the price on the cross.

Godfearer,

Mahalo (thank you) for the post.

I think it is important to occasionally be reminded how critical obedience to God is for the Christian.

Romans 6:16 says;

Grace to you,

If we all were perfectly Obedient to God there would be no need for Grace. Be ye careful folks that we preach not a yolk instead of Liberty. :noidea:

Salvation is a gift from God, not something we work for. The gift is free, because Jesus paid the price on the cross.

But this whole text and context is regarding the salvation from the fall, the work of Christ on the Cross which is given to all men everywhere.

it is not addressing the offer Christ can now make to mankind because of that salvation. He calls all men to repentance. And our response to Him is on what we are judged. It is all about obedience, following, being in concert with God, being conformed to his Image. Keeping our wills in alignment with His will for us for the salvation of our individual souls.

Salvation is a gift from God. Maturity in Him is the process, not salvation. If we are to be His for His will, we have to allow Him to finish any work in us that His has to do in order for us to be a vessel fit for Him to use.

i think maybe there is a break down in communication. im not saying you are saved by works or denying the cross.

there is a scripture that when you translate it back to greek roots literally reads you have been-being saved.(why i titled it salvation is a process) idk where it is i will look and then come back and post it later.

perhaps the title for my post wasnt the best. i couldnt think of anything better to type for it. originaly the post was made in calvinist vs. arm.... whatever you believe.

the purpose was for this post was importance of obedience. and how you can get out from under Gods grace and how thats not good. basicly to speak to the hearts and consiousness of those not serious about thier salvation. people playing with sin.

in regards to works there is also a scripture that says work out your own salvation with fear and trembeling. which shows it is a process. what do i mean? im saying that all we can do is obey. God did/does the rest.

i am truely sorry if i have mislead you on what im trying to say.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (King James Version)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast. this is talking about doing good to earn salvation. im talking about doing good(obedience) because if you dont obey you fall in sin and you become spiritualy dead. the fellowship between God and us stops.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. John 15:12-14

I will admit that your title was the base of how I read your post. For the confusion, I also am sorry. :noidea:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
