The zodiac constellation figures may symbolize the twelve key roles of Jesus Christ.

The Book of Enoch records that the angel Uriel revealed the figures in the stars called the constellations to the prophet Enoch. There is much evidence to support that claim, such as many of the figures being the same symbols used throughout the scriptures to represent the Savior Jesus Christ and elements of his gospel. Several books have been written summarizing the concept that the gospel story appears to be shown in the stars. This article presents new evidence that in addition to that gospel presentation, the twelve figures in the group of constellations called the zodiac also summarize the twelve principal roles that Jesus Christ would fulfill.

The Serpent Bearer crushes the Scorpion, and wrestles the Serpent who is trying to get the Crown.

Before we look at these proposed roles of Jesus Christ, the reader is encouraged to write a quick list of his most common titles and then ponder exactly what each means. For example, what did Jesus do which qualified him to be called the Savior, or the Redeemer or the Messiah? Is there any difference between the roles of Savior and Deliverer? When I began the research for this article, my understanding was that those two titles were synonymous, but now it is clear from the zodiac figures that those roles are very different from each other. They will never be the same again to me. What is your understanding? Is it possible that you too could learn something about the Gospel of Jesus Christ from these ancient symbols? What were the most important tasks for the Savior to accomplish?

1. The Gospel in the Stars

Let us begin by briefly summarizing previous work which claims that the gospel seems to be clearly shown in the star figures. The principal work was done by a nineteenth century woman named Frances Rolleston. Her original work has recently been republished,[1] but it is rather cumbersome because it is largely a set of research notes. Two Christian scholars summarized her work, added to it, and presented it in a much more palatable form about a century ago.[2] There are many flaws in the work,[3] but it appears that they got the basic idea correct. That is, the constellations testify of Christ and tell the gospel story in picture form. There is a surprising amount of information in the Bible supporting this hypothesis.

It has been shown from strictly scientific arguments that the constellations, as transmitted to us by the ancient Greeks, originated about 2900 B.C. at a location of about 30

The heavens declare the glory of God. (Ps. 19:1)

What's wrong with the concept and interpretation that the Lord created the positions of the stars to proclaim His Gospel?

(The Book of jasher was a deffinently written book back in the days of the patriarchs and in the days of David but it was the national enquirer for back in those days, and it was fill with alot of hyped up bojive and exagerations.

The book of jasher will also tell you that Job counseled pharaoh to throw all the first born jewish males into the river, yet we know that the bible says that Job was a Godly man,one that hated and dispised evil, the book of jasher also says that judah roarded like a lion and pharaoh was afraid of him and all of the women of egypt had miscarrages, yet we know for a fact that judah cried out to Joseph for mercy and not to kill him.

The book of jasher also says that ephraim laid his hand on judah and stilled him yet in reality, ephraim could not have been older than 8 years old during the second year of the famine in egypt.

Reality( the bible says that judah was crying out to Joseph for mercey.)End.

It is of its self contridicting and can not line up with truth, than all it is is folk stories, and can not be trusted as Gospel truth.

God does not will not and cannot contridict it's self, nor will He allow another book that he had written, contridict it.

So as the spirit of God says, they wrestle with the scriptures to their own destruction and to justify the deeds of their flesh.

The book of Jasher contains many areas that are completely unbiblical. Here are just some of them.

In Jasher 42:30-41, Rachel talks to Joseph from the grave. This is of course necromancy and is an abomination unto the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:11-12).

According to 53:18-22 Benjamin used a "map (or chart) of stars" to find Joseph. Deuteronomy 18:10 forbids this. It is an abomination to be "an observer of times" (astrologer).

Judah threatens Joseph 54:1-68 with annulations but Genesis 44:14-34 is a plea for Benjamin

alanraj, please repent of your thoughts before it is too late for you,The true word says

Galatians 1:8,But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Galatians 1:9,As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

The Bible is very clear about astrology.

Deuteronomy 17:2-5 "If there be found in the midst of you, within any of your gates which Yahweh your God gives you, man or woman, who does that which is evil in the sight of Yahweh your God, in transgressing his covenant,

3 and has gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, or the sun, or the moon, or any of the host of the sky, which I have not commanded;

4 and it be told you, and you have heard of it, then shall you inquire diligently; and, behold, if it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is done in Israel,

5 then shall you bring forth that man or that woman, who has done this evil thing, to your gates, even the man or the woman; and you shall stone them to death with stones." (WEB)

Isaiah 47:12-15 "Stand now with your enchantments, and with the multitude of your sorceries, in which you have labored from your youth; if so be you shall be able to profit, if so be you may prevail.

13 You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels: let now the astrologers, the star-gazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save you from the things that shall come on you.

14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: it shall not be a coal to warm at, nor a fire to sit before.

15 Thus shall the things be to you in which you have labored: those who have trafficked with you from your youth shall wander everyone to his quarter; there shall be none to save you." (WEB)

Daniel 1:20 "In every matter of wisdom and understanding, concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters who were in all his realm." (WEB)

Acts 7:41-43 "They made a calf in those days, and brought a sacrifice to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their hands.

42 But God turned, and gave them up to serve the host of the sky, as it is written in the book of the prophets, `Did you offer to me slain animals and sacrifices Forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

43 You took up the tent of Moloch, The star of your god Rephan, The figures which you made to worship. I will carry you away beyond Babylon." (WEB)

Be careful my friend, very careful.

The Bible is very clear about astrology. But this isn't astrology. There is no divination, no prognostication, no nothing, just a theory about whether Sagittarius actually was Jesus and not something else.

It is an interesting theory, but not provable because GOD himself, over and above the verse which says that the heavens declare the glory of God, has remained silent on whether he actually placed the stars in constellations which tell the gospel story. The most it can be, therefore, is a theory. I have also seen and heard this theory without any reference to shady texts such as jasher.

It has been used by people who are generally considered within the realm of Christianity as a witnessing tool. Like D James Kennedy has a series on 'the gospel in the stars.' It is not astrology in the traditional sense of the word and so long as it doesn't branch off into astrology or other such things I don't see anything wrong with using it. As long as everyone knows that it is a theory and not a doctrine from scripture that is taught as fact.

Astronomy is fine, as long as one doesn't try and read and/or worship the planets. The stars are beautiful to look at and speak of the majesty of God's handiwork, but man has been worshiping the stars and planets since just after the creation. That's just my opinion, though.

I would have to agree with speckles on this. Alanraj is not engaging in astrology. In fact, it may be that astrology is a perversion of what alanraj is talking about here. I have also heard other preachers use the constellations in a similar manner and I don't think we need to be afraid of stars. After all they are created to glorify Him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
