Have you considered that in the Day of the Lord, it might be different than what you expect right now? Have you seen the Days of Old, that God revealed Himself in a mighty way, that those who have not believed, see His glory through tribulation, and then turn and listen, and your words of Him are proved true? Do not be deceived, something of Truth, can be born of intense fire and heat. Do not forget how a gem of beauty is formed from great intensity.

It may not be as dark as you perceive, yet the birth of a child comes from great pain. So it is with The Truth...........it is born of great pain. Stand firm. Pray and watch, ask that you may be made able to stand in the Day of His Coming.

Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Mal 3:1 "Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," Says the Lord of hosts. 2 "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire And like launderer's soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness. 4 "Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to the Lord, As in the days of old, As in former years. 5 And I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers, Against adulterers, Against perjurers, Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, And against those who turn away an alien-- Because they do not fear Me," Says the Lord of hosts. 6 "For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.

Rev. 6:15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"

We know who will.

Those who pray and watch and ask the Lord Jesus to be our Redeemer and Savior.

In His Love,

Suzanne

I think many believers have this urgency that we are living in the last days.

Jeremiah 43:8 Bring out the blind people who have eyes, And the deaf who have ears. 9 Let all the nations be gathered together, And let the people be assembled. Who among them can declare this, And show us former things? Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified; Or let them hear and say, "It is truth." 10 "You are My witnesses," says the Lord, "And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. 11 I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior. 12 I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses," Says the Lord, "that I am God. 13 Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?"

14 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "For your sake I will send to Babylon, And bring them all down as fugitives-- The Chaldeans, who rejoice in their ships. 15 I am the Lord, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King." 16 Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters, 17 Who brings forth the chariot and horse, The army and the power (They shall lie down together, they shall not rise; They are extinguished, they are quenched like a wick): 18 "Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. 20 The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. 21 This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

In His Love,

Suzanne

personally as soon as the rapture comes the better. then i might be able to avilivate some of this great great deep pain.

my dad doesnt know chrsit and hes dying of cancer. my uncle is in the same situation on both counts. my sister doesnt believe and is drifting further and further. no one else in my family believes. i pray for them all, but at times it feels like nothing is or will change. i definatly agree with living in the last days of the world, look around at the fearm grief, wars, famines, weapons of mass distruction and the greed the world has created, the sooner it all ends the better.

I sometimes find myself just staring at the eastern sky and praying "God, when will you call us home to be with you?"

I cannot wait to see Jesus. I have unsaved friends and family, but I have prayed and witnessed to them. That is all I can do, so I leave it in God's hands. I am to the point where all I want is to be with Jesus.

Called: You're freaking me out. I prayed that last night when my husband was outside so he couldn't hear me...and I was just sobbing and begging, "Lord, how long, how long? Please come and get us soon. Please hurry and come for us."

I know, I know...please don't tell me that's selfish. I already know it. I just can't help it...it was the cry of my heart and I prayed it from the depth of my being and I've "NEVER" done that before.

Never.

It was the first time I felt myself begging the Lord to please come for us real soon.

I feel so ready...and Jesus4me, I sympathize because I've felt hypersensitive lately. I've sensed the Lord's presence more so lately than normal.

LadyC: I do understand because I continually cry out for my husband, who's still on milk and very immature in the Lord. I've begged the Lord...please, please, somehow get him in....

I don't see him becoming a "Billy Graham" (lol) ...it's really gonna come down to the "skin of his teeth".

I worry myself sick about him but at the same time I'm torn in two ...because I am so longing to go home. I'm so hungry to leave this place and to Jesus...I'm sorry, I can't seem to help this feeling of urgency.

Jesus4me: Amen and amen! No, you're not alone...not by a long shot!

Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

I have been repeating this exact verse lately every day...several times a day.

I have found myself begging and pleading the Lord to find me worthy, not of my own works but that I am hidden in Him.

I am more keenly aware of my own weakness and dependency on Him lately...more now than ever before. I feel such a strange intimacy with Him lately...and an incredible realization that I am offering Him all of myself....with all of my whole being.

And one other verse:

Thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.... I find myself repeating just that one verse in the Lord's Prayer over and over.

I also sense a very strong, powerful sense of unity or merging of members of the Body of Christ...something that is profound to me.

I am sensing an amazing "coming together" of various members of the Body of Christ...from those of the prophetic to mercy ministries to teachers to givers to charismatics...et al...just all parts of the "Body" seem to be sewn together in a single entity lately.

There's those attempting to brign dissension but I sense a very strong union forming instead...all eyes on Jesus.

Anyone else pick this up?

years ago, i felt an overwhelming sense that Jesus would return before my children both graduate from H.S.

my oldest graduates tomorrow. her sister has two more years. time is so short. my kids are almost adults, and will no longer be living under my roof, physically seeking me out when they become frightened. but my husband.... i tremble to think what would happen to him if i disappeared. would he suddenly realize how far he's drifted from God? or would he become so bitter towards God that he would go off the deep end?

i know that i should, like any good christian, be looking forward to the day Christ returns, but i just can't. not yet.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
