I hope I'm not being a wet blanket here - maybe you guys can clarify something for me. If you guys are getting feelings that something is about to happen, rapture perhaps?, then my questions is how can you be getting "tipped off" if Jesus Himself does not know the time of our Lord's return? Are you guys in fact referring to the rapture? If so, how do you explain this inside information that Jesus Himself does not have? I'm not trying to cause trouble really - I'm simply testing everything against Scriptures. If I'm wrong or misunderstood something, I humbly apologize.

I am happy you see the importance of serving God, and His Christ, and I understand God is moving upon you to have a burden in your heart, a burden of realization of the time for salvation is now, and if the judgement must first begin at the house of God, then the judgement will come to the world, I think we need to pray, understand, and read God's Word, and seek God with all that is within us so we can find Him. I do see people are losing grace who do not chose to submit to His rule. I am very sad about this, the most important prayer is not that we are all safe, and have things, rather the most important prayer is that all would be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth, through our Saviour Jesus Christ our Lord.

I also sense a very strong, powerful sense of unity or merging of members of the Body of Christ...something that is profound to me.

I am sensing an amazing "coming together" of various members of the Body of Christ...from those of the prophetic to mercy ministries to teachers to givers to charismatics...et al...just all parts of the "Body" seem to be sewn together in a single entity lately.

There's those attempting to brign dissension but I sense a very strong union forming instead...all eyes on Jesus.

Anyone else pick this up?

That is just amazing to me that you mentioned this. I have felt the exact same way for awhile now, but I don't think the "feeling" fully kicked in until the "Passion" came out.

I mean, I knew that movie was going to be emotional and touch peoples hearts, but what I witnessed in that movie is undescribable. I noticed then, all the Christians that were coming out of the "woodwork", so to speak.

I can't help, but feel that the condition of the world (spiritually and otherwise), is all leading up to something major.

The Lord gave me a dream not long ago, and He showed me all that's happening by comparing it to a puzzle.

I was looking down upon a puzzle, but not realizing the puzzle was prophecy. I watched each peace fall into place on this puzzle board. I was talking to someone, but at the time not realizing I was speaking to Jesus.

I asked, "What are all of these pieces and what do they mean?" As I was asking this, the pieces were floating down on this board and falling into place.

I asked the question again, but no answer.

Then it got to only 3 open spaces left on the board and I looked up (looking for the next piece), but nothing happened.

I looked around for the remaining 3 pieces and when I turned around, I seen Jesus. In His hands were a finished puzzle and He said; "It is done."

The weirdest thing started to happen right after I had that dream. Our central air went out and it was going to take a week, before someone could come out to fix it.

So, at night I'd open all the windows in our bedroom (praying for air), and then one night I noticed something different.

I had been having a heck of a time going to sleep, because of the heat. Well, I was laying there (thinking un-Godly thoughts about the central air) and then all of a sudden I heard it.

It was 3 a.m. and the bird were going insane! I mean, they were singing at the top of their little lungs and this went on ALL night long. Theses bird never ceased to stop. The entire week I had those windows open, this continued.

Now, I only know one thing about birds...they DO sleep, I'm sure of it! So, after a couple of nights listening to this choir, I got to wondering...."Do they see, or know something that we don't?" As soon as I asked myself this question, I felt a jolt in my spirit.

Now, I'm sure some of you may thing I'm crazy (I might be), but I honestly believe with all of my heart, they know or see something that we do not.

The first thing that came to mind was, "They are singing to our Lord. They are praising His Holy Name!"

Now, I do not claim to know anything, about anything. But I believe there are even more signs around us, we just stop long enough to hear, or see them!

YSIC,

Diane

yes boldly, we are referring to the rapture. please bear in mind that while even Jesus does not know the hour or the day, that does not mean that He does not, or that we can not know the season. the very prophecies tell of the season in which this will come to pass, and we are told to be ever watchful.

there was a website recently that proclaimed the 23'rd of this month was the day of Christ's return. you can bet every christian with an ounce of common sense laughed at that, and well.... we're all still here! nobody can predict the day. that is totally contrary to scripture. but the season is here, and it's no surprise that the Holy Spirit is impressing a sense of urgency on believers.

You're not at all being a "wet blanket." I understand your questions and it's good that you're asking.

I wish I had something profound to tell you, but I do not. I only know that with us being His children, I do believe that He does speak to our hearts and souls. He would not have anyone to perish.

I also believe that He will give us all an "urgent" need to spread His Gospel, or maybe an urgent need to be ready ourselves.

You're also right. Even Jesus does not know the hour, nor the day (and I do not agree with "date-setters"). However, G-d does speak to us through the Holy Spirit and through the Spirit, we will know His voice.

One minute to Him is like a thousands years to us. The rapture could happen 10 minutes from now, or 10 years from now..I do not know.

But I do know when He speaks to me, I'm going to listen!

I wish I could find the words to explain to you better why I believe the Lord is telling us all to be ready, but it's very difficult to try and describe a "feeling". Pray about it all. Direct any questions to Him and He will reveal to you in some way, what He wants you to know.

YSIC,

Diane

But again I ask, "What if it's not what you think?" What if the rapture is NOT what you think in terms of physically? What if God is asking you to be ready for Truth.........His Truth............His Word to come alive!!!???

Just a thought.

In His Love,

I heard a pastor explain that Jesus, while in the flesh on earth did NOT know the time or date but now, as He sits upon His throne in heaven, (seated at the Right hand of the Father)...he knows now.

They are One together, seated together in glory...whereas before, Jesus was in His earthly body and while He was man, He was God in Spirit...yet not completely omniscient.

Jesus was a man yet had the holy character and nature of the Father...but I do not believe He was omniscient when in human form.

That's what was explained in a sermon I heard by someone...I beleive it was Charles Stanley but I can't remember for certain.

It made sense to me. I believe He knows now...and is all very much aware of the time at this point, now that He is seated on His royal throne in heaven with the Father.

But surely, at the time He was with the disciples on earth, He did not know.

Jesus4me: I am definitely understanding what you're saying. Someone else contacted me by PM and said they'd had some incredible dreams of the end times...and we shared what we had experienced.

It seems to me that the Lord imparts these things to us.

The Apostle Paul said that "that day" will not catch us off guard like a thief in the night.

People seem to forget to read the whole page.

The page says that those who drink, get drunk at night...etc...and those who live in darkness will be caught unaware. But those who live in the light will not be caught unaware...we will, in fact, be aware...That day will NOT catch us unaware.

To drive this point home further...

Jesus used the parable of 10 virgins (presumably symbolic for Christians) and only half of them are awake, their lamps trimmed and filled with oil. Only half are ready to receive the Bridegroom. They are waiting with eager anticipation, while the other half simply sleeps.

We are not going to be caught off guard like those who sleep; those who sleep do not know when the thief enters in...however, those who keep their latern filled with oil and lit ...are alert and ready. We're admonished to be alert, ready and waiting.

Jesus tells us to STAY AWAKE...and be alert. We don't know the day or hour but we need to have our lamps filled with oil and ready. Then, that day will NOT come upon us unexpectedly.

The Lord is speaking to many, many believers now...I'm glad I'm not the only one who senses this.

Wow, I really enjoyed reading all that you said. You are certainly more knowledgable than I, when it comes to the Bible! I'm very impressed.

I'm only a toddler in Christ, but I'm slowly learning. I'm reading Roman's right now (for the 3rd time) and it seems the more I read, the more I discover something new.

I just think it's all so very exciting. I just can't seem to remember what life was like before Him...and I can't imagine my life now without Him. I just love Him so very much. :il: ;)

Jesus4me: That's so funny you say that...because I almost always preface things I say with, "With respect to those more learned than I..." - Or - "I'm no scholar but..."

I know people who can run circles around me. People like Suzanne, Journey, R Cruise, and Blindseeker.....those guys just go so over my head at times, (LOL), it's a bit humbling...and gives me a headache.

I get real confused when it comes to Revelations... ;)

Somebody brought up something about 144,000 men who didn't defile themselves with women...now that made no sense to me. I'm telling you, I can handle some of Revelations but much of it is very baffling to me.

I honestly believe that we will not face God's wrath because Paul tells us that those who walk in the Light are not asleep and "that day shall not overtake us."

We WILL NOT BE CAUGHT OFF GUARD like a man who sleeps and the thief breaks in...because when we walk in the light, we are alert and ready. When the Lord comes for His Bride, she'll be ready. The lamps will be trimmed and filled with oil

We'll be ready...not asleep. We'll be filled with the oil of annointing and ready to make the journey to meet Him in the air, just as He prophesied.

It makes sense to me...

So, I am eager and waiting for His return. I am admitting that I am selfish on this. I admit it so if someone accuses me, they lose all steam in their sails. I know it's selfish. I admit it.

I am very selfishly eager for Jesus to return to gather His Bride....because I long for the "Day" when we see the love of our lives return for us.

I want to be a giddy as a school girl and longing for His return.

I want to be completely ready for His return for us. I feel ready. I am a work in progress and continually growing but my heart is eager and ready for Him to come for us....and I want to go with Him when He comes for us. :il:

"To he who has an ear, let him hear..."

Yes my friends, I too think the rapture is right upon us. I've always thought it could be close, but this is different. I now feel a deep groaning and calling within myself to be ready. I feel like some others also in that it is difficult to get much interested in what tomorrow may, or may not bring because my future is not in tomorrow, but with the Lord in Paradise. The signs are all in place. It sends chill through my spine.

Kitkat mentioned the terrorist situation. I agree with her call on that completely. She portrayed a very realistic scenario of the last days. The enemy is now within. The days are dark. Satan is very active, worldwide dividing the church, turning believer against believer, father against son, causing hatred, murder and ager to flourish, etc. The Lord is calling to our hearts to be ready.

Come soon Lord Jesus!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
