Healing and deliverance is available!

Sweetie when you have lived through what I have experienced in these short 31 years of life, and the healing and deliverence that have been asked for then come talk to me. I love ya dear, but I think you have very little idea where I am coming from. Noi offense intended!!! :24:

you can talk to me about healing, and I'll get you healed every time. [If you will believe the word of God]

Bingo!!! I was waiting for that, for of course the pastors reason for this poor fella NOT being healed was that he didn't fully believe the word. Great way to push the blame off the teachings and onto the one who falls for it.

(see post #22 for clarification of my above statement)

Careful there, awful lots of me and I references in that statement of yours.

By the way I prefer to talk to God about healing. I know of no human with a perfect record.

Colleen,

I don't believe you have any more or less faith than I do. :)

When I suffered from depression, and PMS bi-polar... :24: , I believed it was spiritual. And for the most part it was. But still, I'd have "dark" days. No amount of studying God's Word helped the mood swings, and physical problems I had when it was "that time" of the month.

It wasn't until I changed my eating habits, that it changed...The depression stopped, mostly. I still have a my moments....not pretty. But on the whole, I am much happier, more joyful. I don't consider suicide, or death as a means of escape anymore.

I did nothing different in my spiritual life, I had tried all of it. And I do realize [disclaimer] that reading God's Word, prayer, church attendance, are imparative in the Christian life. But it didn't always help. It was the change in my diet that "put me over the top" so to speak. God showed me a deficiency in my diet and provided the remedy.

God doesn't bless us because we do something to deserve it. He blesses us [or curses us] because He sees fit, and it's part of His ultimate plan and will. What we need to do is obey Him, obey His commands, and take care of this broken vessel that He has chosen to reside in. God has given us everything we need to take care of ourselves, we just need to figure out what that is.

1 Timothy 5

23 Drink water no longer, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake, and for your frequent infirmities.

So in the bible, the word of God, whom He is able to preserve. Whom He states is for

2 Timothy 3

16 All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

17 that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.

Paul wrote this to Timothy, a recommendation to drink wine for his infirmities. Why didnt God direct Paul to admonish Timothy to just have faith and believe his infirmities will be healed. After all, Paul was showing Timothy how to be a model preacher. Wouldnt divine healing through word of faith be a part of it IF wof was true?

I don't think anyone is making the assertion that God WANTS people to be sick or that sickness is a condition that God desires for any particular individual. However, it is something God is willing to use in a broken world.

The Bible never promises that each believer can walk in total health all of the time, and it certainly does not teach that God will heal EVERY Christian who prays for it.

The problem is that some churches teach that healing is part of the atonement. Thus if salvation is available to everyone because of Christ's death on the cross, then healing is too. They teach wrongly that sickeness, disease and poverty are the curse of the law. So, in their reasoning, if Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law, He has redeemed us from sickness, disease and poverty.

The curse of the law is spiritual death/separation from God resulting from sin.. That is what Christ redeemed us from. Poverty, sickness and disease are product of the curse of the Fall, way back in Eden, and we have NOT been redeemed from that curse.

Many of the healing teachers draw on Deut. 28 to bolster their assertion that healing is promised and the do this by taking a promise made to a nation called Israel and force it to apply to individuals. God told Israel that if they obeyed the Torah, kept the Sabbath, the Passover, the Kosher Laws, and so forth, if they did EVERYTHING written in the law, they would be blessed above all nations, they would be blessed going in and going out, they would be the head and not the tail, etc.

God was making a promise with respct to the general condition of the nation. He was not promising that there would be no sick or poor in their midst. In fact, when one reads the laws given, God makes provisions for the sick, infirmed and those who impoverished, which would be self-defeating if God was making promises that they would never get sick or be poor in the first place.

This is so well written and spot on!

We already have our healing. we need to receive it. God is no respecter of persons.

Can I ask then, how does one receive their healing? What steps does one have to take?

Receive it by believing that God is telling you the truth--you have your healing already in your spirit--now believe it and receive it in your body.

All God tells us is we will be healed...He makes no mention of when.

It takes time, but it is coming, because we already have it. We have simply lay hold of it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
