I think its a monstrous statement to say atheists have dark hearts. I know many atheists personally and they are generally better people than the religious I've met (mostly because the religious throw hell into discussions and tell us where we are all going after death).

I don't see that as a warning I see that as manipulative and arrogant. No, I'm not saying you're monstrous! Please, stop reading what I write and inserting assumptions. I said it was a monstrous statement. Two different things!

And from the arguments I've seen, I think its you guys who are slipping. Hitchey, Lurker and NC have all spoke eloquently and with evidence to back up their claims. All you guys do is say "God's Word is the Truth" and assume that closes the argument. It doesn't.

Once again, I'm not for all abortion, just in certain cases. As well, I don't think abortion is murder because I don't think its a human life yet. You assume support for one thing means support for the whole thing. It doesn't. Grey areas exist but its hard for Christians to reconcile with that because that would mean there are no absolutes.

Then we see two different arguments (which isn't really surprising). I think you guys have a false sense of victory and it keeps you going. All I see is avoiding the points and using "God says so" as an argument. I know I answered your questions because I went back into my posts and looked. And then laughed. That's when I knew you don't really read what I write, you just throw out an argument for arguments sake and then say I never answered anything.

The problem is Hitchey, is that you dont even believe in absolute truth... even though youre proven wrong by the fact the quesiton can even be asked... you lose by default because if there WERE NO Absolute Truth, this in itself WOULD be an absolute truth, so absolute truth must exist

Matrix, Hitchey, i have not one thing against you even though we both know we all have our agendas, and yours is to prove yourself... the problem IS the end result would be someones DEconversoin if you happened to be able to persuade anyone.

Dont be upset when youre put to the task of proving what you say, or answering hard quesitons. Just because we believe differantly YOU assume that YOU are right and we are wrong, just as we assume YOU are wrong and WE are right.

Dont be upset we both have our agendas, youre just facing a wall of truth my friend and we can go to several threads right now and see all the avoided points and questions. I know theyre hard, im sorry... but theyre also honest and i wont apologize for that
