The question is, are you hearing what is being said to you?

If every Christian took care of their own little area of influence, there own little Jerusalem, (first in Jerusalem, then Samaria, then the outer parts of the world, Jerusalem first) then this entire nation would be covered stem to stern with Christians doing the right thing. GOD would honor that by intervening with the only power that can make a difference.

Where in the Bible are Christians given direction or commandments to try to control the actions of non-believers?

GOD is still in control of all of it. It is going the way HE intends and the way HE has told us HE intends it to go. How do you expect to stop that?

If I am in Tibet or I walk the Kokoda Trail, then I am a beacon of Light on behalf of the Bible and for what the contents say. If I am sitting on a jumbo jet heading for the Netherlands or alone with my reading students at school in Hicksville, then that is my mission field...wherever I am , that's where my mission field is.

I think the teaching of the Bible in it's correct position needs to start in Church...many, many types of people and lifestyles are represented at Church..if the Body of Christ was united in it's teaching and recognised the urgency of correct teaching as opposed to compromising the Word for the sake of tolerance, then maybe morality would be taken more seriously amongs the community..it has to start within the Church and the way the Bible is taught. I don't think I'm too out of line with this thinking.

Maybe by being more loyal to the Word when preaching in Church. Not preaching a watered down version of the Truth. That's not helpful to anybody. That would be start..to set the Believer on the right path.
Shouldn't that be taking place already?

Yes it should, but

unfortunatley it's not always the case.

Yes, we are in the world but we are not OF it. The world will keep being the world...and there's not much we can do about it...being the world. However, Jesus said to us "ye are the light of the world... so let your light so shine before men..."

That's what we can do girl, keep shining... no matter how dark the world gets.

Your sister,

Phil.2:13

Is the separation of man and woman as a natural pairing the final swipe at God?

Society has been trying to tear down the morality of the Bible for eons - is the seperation of male and female union to same gender marriages etc the final assault on the Bible and the morality within?

If we muddle up the next generation of childrens' thinking - won't they then see the Bible as old and out of touch...simply because they have been brainwashed in a sense toward self gratification and selfish ideals?

So shouldn't we as Christians be taking a more involved step toward keeping the sanctity of marriage and female/male union alive and thriving?

How do we do this...?

That's a good question man.

One answer could be loyalty to His Word - from within the Church.

What do you think?

I understand what you are getting across although I don't agree with it in every sense - not talking about Scripture here - only what's highlighted in red.

We have more power at our disposal than what you may think.

There is power in prayer, words etc - there is power in the death and ressurrection of Christ - The Body of Christ is a powerful entity as long as we work in one accord. The Body is a force to be reckoned with if only we weren't so fractured.

That is an absolute truth.

So which church's interpretation of the truth shall we all rally under? They all think they have it right.

i would have thought that women pastor's is the final assault on God. this whole marriage thing falls under the assumption that

many Christians are bunking together. I would argue that many people are bunking together but theyre not predominantly Christians.

Your right HIsgirl, the church has unlimited power in Christ, but lets remember that power is not carnal. I believe in lots of stronghold binding prayer and such, but beyond prayer and letting your light shine, what else would you recommend?

Truth out of the pulpit? Absolutely

Truth to those in your sphere who seek it? Without a doubt.

Letting your light shine? Of course

But I don't believe protests, marches and the such are the answer. I have seen too many so called christian protest against such things that were pure hatred and evil. And if I as a fellow beliver thought that what would the homeasexuals think. Would that make them run to God or away?

I'm not too keen on protest marches myself, Jesus got His point across by His Words and deeds. But He stood by His Words 100% percent and His actions reflected this - that's what I would like from the Church Body. And myself.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
