Hah!! I found the perfect forum to discuss my problems with religion and religious people.

1st of all i have been raised very liberally by my parents, they told me alot about religion, all of them. They let me the choice to choose for myself which spiritual or religious path i would walk, i chose none.

Ive read replies to this topic and i see mainly people filled with fear, fear that if they do not think enough about their god, he will punish them for it; this truly is a characteristic behaviour of monotheism, where god is almighty and the punisher of sins.

I see people saying that the muslim faith is the wrong one, prophecied by the liar Muhammad, who are you to say these things?? By what right can you judge someone else his faith. Especially if it is the exact same god you worship...

Religious people affiliated to a certain religious current are always the most arrogant of all, claiming they have the only true faith and thus denying all other forms of faith and worship, they are the most judgemental and least open for other ideas than theirs. This totally confuses me as the prime message sent by jesus was that of respect towards all humans disregarding what faith they had. Clearly the churches you visit and the ancient and archaic texts from a 2000 year old book, written and rewritten and translated and misinterpreted and manipulated by the religious sekt that formed christianity in the early days polluted your minds.

Christianity as all other religions (especially the 3 great ones, Judaism, christianity and Islam) are created only very recently, yes created... for they were invented by mankind.

This is why i refuse to believe in any particular religious movement, for they all end into political motivation, powerhungry and closed to different thoughts and ideas.

Religion is not the same as spirituality and religion as we know it in our modern world often limits the human of expanding his mind and accepting differences, they are a burden rather than a salvation. I do not think that GOD ever meant to put fear in our hearts and that he gives a damn about us thinking 20 times a day about him or 1 times a year.

and there you go bro ,,,who cares ??? other ppl have no say at all ,,, none ,,,

when judgment come's it will be god ,,,jesus ,,, me ,,, and the devil ,,, no one else ,,, no man judges me but me ,,, i done my time in the military ,,, god isnt a man and i have no king save jesus and ultimately i am accountable only to them ( god ,,, and jesus ),,, and no one is responsable for my salvation but me ,,, and trust me bro when im being judged religion wont have a thing to do with the out come and when the devil points out my faults and god says to me do you have anything to say in your defense the only thing i'll be able to say is jesus lord have mercy ,,, i know im guilty and no religion taught me that either

and just because you would rather listen to other ppl's opinion's and judge me or god or who ever on what they say instead of studying the bible yourself from cover to cover and coming to your own conclusion shows me just how caught up in the propaganda you are,,, you have to look at both side's of the coin bro or your just like the ppl you are whinning about  ,,,

judging god on what a man said  pls,,,

we all have a choice here ,,, you too ,,, god said so ,,, it is written ,,,

so if you want to waste your time by going around talking trash about how other ppl believe ,,, instead of worrying about your search for truth ,,, so be it

then when its your turn to be judged by god ,,, with jesus,,, and the devil being there only (cause your on your own at that point )you can try and explain why you didnt take the time to check it out for yourself

every thing you wrote up there screams that you have never read the bible

oh you might have read a few verses here and there but you never really read it

especialy that last statement you made

all that stuff you wrote up there ive been hearing since the 60's  at least come up with some different propaganda :24: im so bored with the old stuff

Hi There!

I agree... we have no other choice. You cant very well call yourself a Christian if you arent living for Him... it goes hand in hand. I for one know if i were to let God slip into second place my life would be a mess. It has happened once before and i can tell you right now im not keen on it happening again. The less you put in, the less you get out, and you become a stagnant, watered down, wishy washy believer who is blown to and fro with every little thing that comes their way. It is a powerless Christianity.

The only way we can live in the Blessings that God promises for us and our families is to live out His word. and the only way we can live out His word is if we know what it says and why it says it. Time with God, time in His word, time in His house, its the only way to grow closer to Him and to grow in His promises of a blessed life.

its not a matter of having to do it because someone told you that you should. If you dont want to, you dont know Him. the more we get to know who Jesus is, the character of God and what He has waiting for us in His prescence, the hungrier we will be for Him. We will loose more and more the desire to sin against Him. When you love and know Him, its not about having to put Him first by force, its a matter of NEEDING Him by DESIRE and HUNGER....

we see our past, our lives before Him, and our lives now with Him and for Him, and the difference is non comparable. If you can compare it, you havent lived for God yet.

My prayer is that everyone experiences the true walking-with-God experience. theres nothing like it!

Christianity was not forced upon millions by the sword? i seem to remember countless crusades and wars fought in the name of God. Led by the most religious persons of all, the Pope himself.

You are a jew and you hate muslims, that makes you a racist. As for me, i do not care what religion you feel called to, in my p.o.v. that makes me a more balanced and openminded person than you Yacov.

And you reinforce my statement that you feel you believe in the one and only belief because apparantly, Islam and other religions (hindouism, bouddhism, taoism) are unworthy. Again you fall into the judgemental trap of fundamentalism. Martin Luther King is a bad person for you? someone that fought for equal rights and a society where colour wouldnt matter? You worry me, perhaps you are one of those that think the latest Gaza attacks by israel were justified, apparently even Judaism is forced by the sword.

How a person believes and in what gods he believes is his entire own decision. Apparently your god never came talking to him telling him to believe in him, else he would have done so. Different religion does not mean they are not good people.

90% of the entire world population wants nothing but peace and an equal shot at a good and honest life, all religions tell the same story, including Islam. Maybe you should read the Coran once and attend to some more liberal Mosque gatherings and it will open your eyes.

And if Fear is your form of respect i pity you and your god, for a god that asks you to fear him is not a good one.

Fear is a disease that affects all others around you, it is a cancer of society, fear is for the weak

1) Yes, I understand the Crusades. That was not about conversion, that was about money, power and greed.

2) Yes, I am a Jew. And NO! I do not hate anybody least of all a muslim. I'm not sure where you get that idea. I hate radical islam as everyone should. If you do not, then please go say hello to them and see how far you get.

3) Religion sucks. However, taking the high road and taking what G-d put in place and using His Opinions does keep me as open minded as anyone else that loves His Father.

4) Martin Luther died the same day that he published the book "On the Jews and their lies." His number one plea to the leaders of Europe was to march all the Jews down to their synagogues with all their books, lock the Jews in the synagogue and torch the synagogue. Martin Luther did do an ok job in the Reformation Movement tho.

5) If you are not for G-d, you are against G-d. If you are not willing to stand with G-d's Army - the IDF, then please stand in front of them. It is your choice. Israel has a right to defend themselves from terrorists.

6) I know that different religions that there are good and moral people. That is kosher with me. If they are good andmoral then they abide by the Noahide Laws. Love your neighbor as yoruself dude.

7) I have read some of the Koran not Coran. The radical islamists are coming after the Saturday beleivers and thent the Sunday believers. Their holy book calls for all radical islamists to murder innocent people especially the dogs called the Jews and the chirstians.

8) Fear is respect dude. Fear does not mean something like the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." I pity you. Please look in a dictionary for what the word respect means.

9) Being a liberal is a cancer on society. It will bring down a nation. Complacency will cause wars. That is why there is no Peace in the middle east. Israel should have finished the job when they had the chance to liberate the Palestinians from Hamas whose one and only goal is to murder innocent human beings and ipe Israel off the face of the map. Then they will come after you. :emot-hug:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
