  2. Bold Believer: I agree with you and that is why I said I am not tolerant. Love the sinner not the sin. We are called to love all people but that does not mean we are to tolerate (come into agreement with) the sins in their lives. Not saying that I don't have sin in my life. How horrible it would be if someone didn't step foward (in a loving way) and tell me the truth! It is a fine line that we walk...to recognize sin as what it is and rejecting it without judging and rejecting the sinner. I am very grateful that in the end that it is God that sorts all of this out and not me!!

  5. Really? Can't stand your brothers and sisters in Christ because they disagree with you? You can't stand them? Some people feel very strongly about this issue. Apparently, so do you i'm talking about those who try to put themselves AND others under the old testiment laws, and i just dont mean the ten commandments, i'm talking all old testiment laws. plus they say your wrong and in sin if you dont live like they live. hope that clears up any misunderstanding P.S. the apostal paul had some pretty harsh things to say about those that would be put back under the law. If someone wants to live under the law, that is their problem. Your problem, is calling other believers names and saying that you cannot stand them. Jesus had some pretty harsh things to say about those who say they love God but hate the ones they can see Jesus trumps Paul

  6. Another misunderstanding is when people try to say the "theif in the night" scripture is the rapture ,, no it is not speaking of the rapture ,, that is in reference to the 2nd coming not rapture....as per so often people who do not want to use ALL scripture related to the rapture get a misunderstanding ,, it has been proven repeatedly what scriptures there are about the rapture . and it has as always been ignored by those who Prefer to believe otherwise ,,, I still challenge anyone to Prove differently ,, but no one does because they refuse to take in ALL scripture about the rapture and use scripture not pertaining to it at all Nobody can prove you wrong if you will not receive the reproof. 1Th 4:13 ¶ But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (the first resurrection as spoken of in Revelation) 1Th 4:17 Then (places the timing of the next event after the first resurrection) we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1Th 5:1 ¶ But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. Let him who has ears to hear, hear the simple straight forward message of the scriptures. Let him who has a computer cut/paste as much as he wills to rearrange the scriptures to say what they want them too. Of course anyone with a good imagination can explain away this catching up as not being the rapture or put a number of years between the catching up and the day of the Lord's return. I will simply stick to reading it as written. Gary Amen!!!! Gary I quoted your post so no one would miss it.

  11. Interesting. Would you vote for her daughter, raised by her mother and living like a pagan? The Mormons kids on the other hand, all set great examples 2 Co 11:14-15 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their work NKJV Their false doctrine sales very well because it so easily aligns itself to that of the worlds system of thought and as you say looks very good from the outside... wonder what their like on the inside? What they do in the darkness? The hidden person who appears outside good hung the Lord of Glory on the Cross and enjoyed it! Love, Steven

  12. It's a very delicate thing to be the cause of someone losing their job, especially if it's just because of money. In those situations I've done exactly what Hall7 did. Take it to the Lord and request that either that person changes their heart or their sin is exposed without my fingerprints on it. Even if Hall7 had gone to management, what if that person covered it up and made Hall7 look like a gossiper, or worse found a way to implicate Hall7 as having known about it for months. Not only that, but I've seen many times, in many companies, that a known whistleblower gets marked as a "busybody," and then they're suddenly not invited to meetings and not chosen to work on certain projects. If someone wants to stop corruption in a company, they are far more effective if they simply bring the presence of God into the building and then let His righteous judgement unravel their schemes.

  13. When it comes to God and his word there is no difference between a Muslim and a Morman. Sin is Sin and there is no lesser sinful of two different sins. Such thinking is what is wrong with the Church/Body of Christ today. We have so mixed up the precepts of the word of God with the ways that the world thinks that we are beginning to think more like the world does ands less like God does.

  14. Ohhh how sinister you are. There are some real Christians out there who I would vote for and Sarah Palin is one of them or Chris Christy. However or bottom line moral abligation is to God and no other. So I would vote for a Christian in a heart beat. Maybe that was a bit overstated. You can vote for whom you like, but I doubt with almost 100% certainty that a real Christian would ever make it to the final two. The world hated Jesus, why do you think the world would not hate a real Christian running for presidency? I won't go into the deadbeat argument about wasted votes. I don't blame you on that one and I agree. A true Christian would never through the nomination process.

  15. We have the word of God to guide us in every decision we make and the Holy Spirit will never contradict what the word of God says so if the word of God speaks against evil, paganism and the spirit of Antichrist then the Spirit of God well be telling you the same thing. His Spirit tells me that the stage is being set for Christ return. Anyone I would like to see in office will not be on the ballot, and I don't believe in allowing the greater of two evils to win. Finally an honest true Christian response :biggrinflip:

  16. So God who stands against all that is pagan or anti-christ would lead you to vote for a man who is a pagan and an anti-christ? Where in the bible does God justify voting or choosing someone to lead us even if they are a pagan? Because my God Jahovah is never on the side of evil. One is right here. God has established them, I'm sure God could use your vote....... Rom 13:1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. As a follower of Jesus, I hold onto the idea that God has allowed a lot of things in this world to take place and without my input as to what is happening; then I have to ask myself what right do I have to complain about anything they do, because I refused to use my vote to change it. I may not be of this world as a Christian, but, right now I am renting a small place here on earth and God has given me a Voice, I will use it. To each of us the gift of Free Will is given, use it wisely. Is it really just money. could it not aslo be a Vote? Mat 22:21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. ICL~~~~Dennis No matter who is elected we will be paying taxes and the scripture you picked has nothing to do with who we should vote for or even morality :hmmm:

  21. http://www.naturalnews.com/037577_debt_collapse_checklist_preparedness.html This is also of importance Order and plant Jerusalem artichokes which winter over in the ground. They are great for diabetics as they are a source of inulin. Also for those in the deep south check out the moringa seeds to grow the tree, most of which is edible. Also plant blueberries and blackberries both of which have real health benefits. I could go on, but you get the drift. Do what you can for yourself and do it now.

  23. Thank you Joco for your question. I do understand what you are asking. I myself do not have any tatoos nor do I plan on getting any, and I also would not be the one to recommend that a Christian does so, as I see it raising more red flags more often then giving glory to God. However, I also will not condemn someone for doing so, as it has brought many to Christ. God uses each of us according to the way in which He made us. No Christian has a tatoo that God did not know was going to be there before they were born. I see many such things like this, such as casinos and an occasional drink. I think too often we focus on our brothers or sisters small things and neglect to look at the big things that block our relationship with God from being stronger. In saying that, let me address your concerns with scripture. ROMANS 14 4Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval. 5In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable. 6Those who worship the Lord on a special day do it to honor him. Those who eat any kind of food do so to honor the Lord, since they give thanks to God before eating. And those who refuse to eat certain foods also want to please the Lord and give thanks to God. 7For we don’t live for ourselves or die for ourselves. 8If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9Christ died and rose again for this very purpose—to be Lord both of the living and of the dead. 10So why do you condemn another believera? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. 11For the Scriptures say, “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess and give praise to God.b’” 12Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. 13So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall. So by this alone I see we should let each brother and sister grow in Jesus Christ their own wy, thus, working out their own salvation. The laws which were in the OT have been replaced by something better. While it is true we should not murder, steal and live immoral lives, we no longer live by the OT laws, but instead, through Jesus Christ alone, which through His holy Spirit, we live above the law. You see, even the OT saints on occasion broke the law and it was not held against them. Was David wrong to fib to the priest to get him and his men food? It did cost the whole priest family their lives! Was David held accountable for murder? The bible never speaks anything bad against David for this, and in fact, Jesus justifies it in His ministry. It has always been more about the heart than to the letter of the law, which was strictly enforced in Jesus day, by none other than those who hated what was good and loved what was evil! COLOSSIANS 2 16Therefore, let no one judge you because of what you eat or drink or about the observance of annual holy days, New Moon Festivals, or weekly worship days. 17These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body [that casts the shadow] belongs to Christ. 20If you have died with Christ to the world's way of doing things, why do you let others tell you how to live? It's as though you were still under the world's influence. 21People will tell you, "Don't handle this! Don't taste or touch that!" 22All of these things deal with objects that are only used up anyway. 23These things look like wisdom with their self-imposed worship, [false] humility, and harsh treatment of the body. But they have no value for holding back the constant desires of your corrupt nature. Galatians 5 13For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. 14For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”c 15But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another. Living by the Spirit’s Power 16So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. 18But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. 19When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God. 22But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. 25Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. 26Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another. =================================================================================== The bottom line my brother, is as Christians, we live now by Gods Holy Spirit and He directs us in all of our paths. The OT laws could never do this. Even Paul writes that where the law was, sin was, as it was human nature to get as close to the line as possible with out going over, therefore the intentions were fueled by desires and the law made it permissible by its letter, but wisdom never did. Thus God always has looked at our hearts and desires more than the old letter of the law. Soo, if one wants a tatoo, I will not condemn them for it, but would suggest they seek Christ first, and ask thmselves what their purpose is and what their motivation is in getting a tatoo. If it is not to further the Kingdom of God, if it is for self flattery or attention, than it is sin in the very making, in the very start. So let us all, most certainly me of all, focus on the very heart of God, and to store up on this earth things that will never be destroyed, things of God, things of heaven. We too often focus on this hotel we are in, and bying all sorts of luggage that we can never bring with us. Let us store things up in heaven so we will not be without when we get to our true home. This is one lesson God has bee teaching me very strongly in these last months. God bless you all
