The key is in the surrounding verses. This is not taking place in the Millennium (Thousand Year Reign), but just before. This is directly before the "Beast" and the "False Prophet" are thrown into the Lake of Fire, and Satan bound. Then the Millennium starts. I'm so sorry for your family, for what's going on. I'll be praying for sure. You mentioned this is causing disagreements between you and your wife. As bad as the other stuff is, to me this is the most concerning. If you and her aren't united in facing this, it's going to be a tremendous hindrance to any good you might be able to do. God created husband and wife to work as a team. As much as I can tell through your post that you both love your daughter and grandchildren, your marriage has to come first.

I don't believe this to be true, for a couple of reasons. I don't, because I'm a parent and I care about the tiny things my children do. Our Father God is the greatest Parent of all, so I know He cares for us infinitely more than I care for my children. We've already referenced the "hairs on our head" verse. How tiny and inconsequential is that? Yet God still sees and perceives it, and cares enough to mention it in His Word. This is another reason I believe He cares about all we do. I find so much comfort knowing that God sees us, really sees us. We're so special to Him, and He loves us all so, so much. Blessings

I'm not saying they should be accused of being a tare. It says, "...if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault...", which indicates to me that this confrontation should be about the actual sin that was committed, as opposed to labels like "tare". That's my take on it, anyway.

We do have instructions on how to handle conflict in the church... I think Willa described a "tare" quite well here.... Also, when Jesus explains the parable, He says this.... Matthew 13:38 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; Which makes me think of this verse.... John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. So we can see dishonesty's going to play a big role in the make-up of these folks, and also destruction of various kinds, given these are the trademarks of who the Word calls their father.
