I think the zoo absolutely did the right thing in killing the gorilla in order to save the child. I just think it's a shame that it had to come to this, for all involved.
"They are dead; but they live in each Patriot's breast, and their names are engraven on honor's bright crest."
-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
ALL gave some, SOME gave all
That's so sweet. I only wish we could appreciate our parents at a young age rather than realizing it when we get older. There are many things I would have loved to do for them, and many things left unsaid. I guess it's all part of the maturing process....one of those "if only I knew then what I know now" scenarios.
Amen. God blesses us in so many amazing ways. Sometimes we don't even realize the blessing when we receive it.
All praises to our Father! He Always knows what's best!
Well, the way I see it, it's your money so it's your business. I think you were being very nice by letting her choose which picture she wanted.
Some people are just very opinionated by nature. I wouldn't take it to heart. You did what you felt was the right thing to do, her reaction is on her.
Blessings to you.
I really enjoyed reading your blog. Not only is the content very thought-provoking, but inspiring, as well.
You, my dear, have a special gift for writing. May God continue to bless you in all that you do.
Yes, it's bad...very bad.
To have 3 large magnitude quakes in the world in such a short time frame has really affected a lot of people. What gets me is, the looting! The nerve of people to steal, and take advantage of others in the midst of a tragedy...just unbelievable!
Wow...I can imagine a lot went through your mind.
You're right. There's no need to waste time worrying about things you have no control over, but rather focus on living life to the fullest with the time we have.
