The "Aramaic Bible in Plain English" translation
simplejeff replied to Psalms37:4's topic in General Discussion
Well, sort of, yes, YHWH can use anyone...... and there are many multitudes of errors from 'anyone' throughout the last 2000 years.... So, who is the AUTHOR of SCRIPTURE ? Trust Him. Whether Lamsa's efforts cause problems/ errors/ whatever or not leads to the question then: the errors perpetuated for almost 2000 years, that a few individuals and a few assemblies were delivered from , who can or should or could deliver people today from errors they were taught all of their lives, and their families before them, and their families before them ? i.e. question and test everything, while seeking God's Kingdom - keep seeking God's Kingdom, to receive God's Promise. (don't stop seeking God's Kingdom - there are multitudes assured that they have been accepted in God's Kingdom, and they don't find out until JUDGMENT DAY that they never made it..... ) keep testing, keep praying, keep asking God for the TRUTH, through grace in Jesus at His Throne in Heaven.... for example: Where many scholars hold that the sources of the New Testament and early oral traditions of fledgling Christianity were, indeed, in Aramaic, the Peshitta appears to have been strongly influenced by the Byzantine reading of the Greek manuscript tradition, and is in a dialect of Syriac that is much younger than that which was contemporary to Jesus.[8] Critics of Lamsa assert that he, like many native Aramaic speakers, extend the semantic areas of words beyond the evidence of existent texts.[9] Bruce Chilton, scholar and prominent Aramaicist, has said: "A still less defensible tendency confuses Aramaic of the first century with Syriac, a different form of the language. The approach of George Lamsa, who used the Peshitta Syriac version as an index of replicating Jesus’ teaching in Aramaic, has been taken up and popularized by Neil Douglas-Klotz. This approach willfully perpetuates a basic confusion of language, since Aramaic and Syriac come from different centuries and areas (although they are closely related Semitic languages), and is based on uncritical treatment of the Peshitta, a Syriac version of the Gospels."[10] ------------------------ So then, correcting the errors naturally may include other errors after the attempts to correct the errors, 'naturally'.... So again, everything must be tested, as Yahweh Says Clearly..... -
It is totally witchcraft and forbidden. And you don't have to ask anyone else about it, nor read the book to find out. Just read the cover / contents/ a review/ anything bout potter - it is pure evil. If that has you so deceived, no wonder the masons do too. They are entirely, totally, completely, opposed to the true gospel Jesus Christ, and forbidden by Scripture.
-
I'm pretty sure you posted this >> Like also several or many other posters (you're not alone at all).... So instead of the facts (what God says in His Word, vs and exposing what is known and published widely about the ungodly mason organization ) you (like may other posters) go with opinion (i.e. "your heart") >> And you apparently already agreed with this yourself, right away >> LOL! I like that one. Not "picking on you", as it may seem - but showing clearly how important it is to rest on and in God's Word, and not "opinion", and not one's own "heart" , because "opinion" and "heart" are opposed to God's Word so often if not always - at least they are not ever to be built upon nor depended upon for "facts", for "truth". God's Word is TRUTH, and is unchangeable. Man's opinions, and man's heart, are not only flexible and changeable like the wind, but usually wicked and wrong.
-
So, then, you don't care what is true about the masons ? Nor about what Scripture says ? (the heart is wicked and more deceitful than anything else - so if you follow your heart, opposed to God, guess where it leads ? (for everyone on earth, not just you) )
-
Then learn the truth. You have dangerous beliefs, opposed to the Bible, if you accept the organization.... https://www.gotquestions.org/free-masonry.html " Question: "What is Free Masonry and what do Free Masons believe?" Answer: Freemasonry, Eastern Star, and other similar "secret" organizations appear to be harmless fellowship gatherings. Many of them appear to promote belief in God. However, upon closer examination, we find that the only belief requirement is not that one must believe in the True and Living God, but rather, that one must believe in the existence of a “Supreme Being”, which includes the “gods” of Islam, Hinduism, or any other world religion. The unbiblical and anti-Christian beliefs and practices of this organization are partially hidden beneath an outward appearance of a supposed compatibility with the Christian faith." "Mason’s View: The Bible is only one of several “Volume(s) of Sacred Law,” all of which are deemed to be equally important in Freemasonry. The Bible is an important book, only as far as those members who claim to be Christians are concerned, just as the Koran is important to Muslims. The Bible is not considered to be the exclusive Word of God, nor is it considered to be God’s sole revelation of himself to humankind; but only one of many religious sourcebooks. It is a good guide for morality. The Bible is used primarily as a symbol of God’s will, which can also be captured in other sacred texts, like the Koran or Rig Vedas." "Mason’s View: There is no exclusivity in Jesus Christ or the Triune God who is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; therefore there is no doctrine of the deity of Jesus Christ. It is deemed to be un-Masonic to invoke the name of Jesus when praying, or mention His name in the Lodge. Suggesting that Jesus is the only way to God contradicts the principle of tolerance. The name of Jesus has been omitted from biblical verses that are used in Masonic rituals. Jesus is on the same level as other religious leaders." "Mason’s View: Through symbols and emblems, Masons teach that man is not sinful, " "When a Christian takes the oath of Freemasonry, he is swearing to the following doctrines that God has pronounced false and sinful:" "As you can see, Masonry denies and contradicts the clear teaching of Scripture and numerous issues. Masonry also requires people to engage in activities which the Bible condemns. As a result, a Christian should not be a member of any secret society or organization that has any connection with Freemasonry."

YHWH (GOD) does something also, showing ownership of those who are His, doesn't He ?

Question about praying to Saints in churches.
simplejeff replied to layhoma's topic in General Discussion
Yes, your dismay is from YHWH, (GOD), in your conscience, to keep you set apart to Himself, and not led astray. -
You do realize they promote, preach, and practice a false gospel, right ? i.e. they put on a good show, looking good, but not for Christ, and not in Christ.
-
Yes, if God leads you to. There are other clinics and hospitals that are Christian in the usa and around the world with a lot better reputation, Christ-like, if you can find them, and they have much better results, so there are options.
-
Other forums are encouraging sin also (catholic forums). They tell them , that unlike other sinners, they don't need to repent! When Scripture is posted showing the need everyone has to repent, the posts are deleted and the poster banned.
-
Yes. It's called repentance. (simply) It's not permitted to call people to repentance on internet forums. It's against too many rules - and might offend someone. It's not even permitted , well, to show the need for repentance -

Do I have to be baptised in order to receive prayer answers?
simplejeff replied to LPTSTR's topic in General Discussion
Just going by what you posted in the OP, you need to do more than get immersed in Jesus' Name. (if you want your prayers heard by YHWH, let alone answered). I didn't read any more of your posts so far, not recently, I don't remember what you believe or don't believe, or how you live. --- this is just based on what you posted here, in the op. -
Woman Miraculously Healed of Stage 4 Cancer!!
simplejeff replied to KPaulG's topic in Biblical Topic Videos
On youtube (sidebar to the video in the op), and on the internet "all", you can easily find hundreds or thousands of people healed of what was diagnosed as "terminal" cancer, and other diseases also. The most successful methods in the usa healed over 95% of all diseases, in tens of thousands of individuals, with no side effects, low cost (relatively), and repeatable results (since long before 1950) ..... -
"His heart"? He was a devil. A thief. His heart was greedy - evil, unrepentant, for a long time. Jesus never saw him as a friend. He was not "worthy to walk and serve as a disciple". Nothing about any of the disciples was "worthy" for their being chosen- YHWH is SOVEREIGN, and chose them for His Own Purpose. No believers are "worthy" to be called and chosen, according to Scripture. There is nothing in man, that YHWH needs or could have need of. YHWH does as He Pleases, as written in His Word clearly. (The BIBLE) Who speculates? Your statements have all come from speculation - not from the BIBLE, it looks like. Perhaps someone told you some of those things ? Learn to test everything - whoever told you was not true nor faithful - they contradicted YHWH'S WORD (THE BIBLE). Test everything by HIS WORD (THE BIBLE). You might want to believe Him, but you contradicted Him so far, not knowing what He Himself Says in His Own Word. Man's understanding or doctrine or suppositions that you have posted will never change God's Way nor change God's Word.

I have no idea (didn't read the posts) who attacked you nor why, or who you think attacked you, nor why. But in one of your own earlier posts, you said you rejected Scripture, and said why, but God doesn't accept any reason for rejecting Scripture. Jesus says whoever rejects His Word rejects Him. Or did you turn to accept Scripture in the last day or two? (i.e. no longer reject Scripture)?

Amein. As YHWH Says, So It Is. Nothing is individual about this, nor societal. It looks like seeking facts is not at all a way to learn YHWH'S WAY. In the OP are several discrepancies, serious ones, mainly from paying attention to what society or different groups of men say instead of simply honoring YHWH and YHWH'S WORD. SIMPLE AND TRUTH. No discrepancies, no doubts, no contradictions in YHWH'S WORD PLAIN and CLEAR, as BREATHED and as REVEALED by YHWH. All the discrepancies, doubts and contradictions come from the enemy, and from men, thinking the way of men. Those , all those, who Honor YHWH, above all else, learn and know the TRUTH from YHWH, in their hearts first, and their spirits and their minds --- we (in CHRIST) HAVE the MIND OF CHRIST) - perfectly PURE and HOLY, by YHWH'S WORD, YHWH'S PURPOSE, and ACCOMPLISHED BY YHWH; contrary to all the ways and mores of men / mankind/ the world/ carnal society. All those things opposed to YHWH, will always contradict YHWH'S WORD. They are all opposed to YHWH, and reject JESUS.

< shrugs > Mostly, it is required by the rules at most forums on the internet ...... the wicked cannot be silenced nor ousted , but are overwhelming in the world, in size and number and activity ..... and as it is written in Scripture they are "wearing out the true believers" with a constant wearing down / abuse/ lies/ errors/ mocking God's Word/ distracting from the truth/ claiming a "right" to be accepted or even worse, "respected", in practicing abominations and disobediences/ idolatries/ without any restrictions (practically) ....

Women rebellious. Salvation issue. Men rebellious. Salvation issue. Many many times, the little things (like wearing ungodly garments, or immodest) , are not themselves the issue, but other things deeper are. Leaves on the tree, VS the roots.
-
It's not at all a debate. The people who follow satan may kill themselves. The people who follow Jesus do not kill themselves.
-
Since the Reformation was Salvation, the GOOD NEWS, formerly hidden from the members of the rcc , how could the rcc help anyone spiritually 'bereft' as you put it ? The rcc not only did not have any good fruits of life nor of righteousness, they did not offer salvation to anyone, and as far as can be seen today, still don't. 'Underhand' like your posts? Think about this -- if you have one million sexual perverts practicing their perversion on their parish members (men, women and children- both boys and girls) , and in another non-rcc church you have one thousand, or even one hundred thousand sexual perverts practicing their perversion on their congregation members (men, women and children - both boys and girls) , i.e. the "same sins", but one has a million , basically more or less , and one has a hundred thousand, basically more more or less, which one has more perversion, death-dealing, abuse ? Obviously, the one that has a million, basically, more or less, has more than the one that has a hundred thousand, basically, more or less. Pointing (exposing) it all out is what GOD requires - do not tolerate sin anywhere.
-
As written in God's Word, right - everyone is consigned under sin, dead in their sins and trespasses until redeemed by the BLOOD of JESUS the LAMB of GOD. If the ones (in the title/ anytime/ anywhere) in England promoting deadly sin turn from their wicked ways, and repent, and pray to God to be saved, perhaps they will be saved from their sin, same case as for everyone else on earth, every human.
-
. No. But realize most people everywhere love the world or the things of the world. Each is judged for everything that they do, as written in YHWH'S WORD.
