Without disagreeing with the previous posts/ good reasons for KJV, remember where a person LOOKS, who a person TRUSTS, and who they RELY ON (who they have FAITH IN, is most important. IF a person is taught by JESUS, they can use any translation and JESUS will still tell them the TRUTH: (ALWAYS) , YAHWEH is the ONE WHO IS ABLE to remove the veil (the veil that prevents understanding), ONE WHO IS ABLE to GRANT UNDERSTANDING and with GREAT PLEASURE DOES for little children. ONE WHO IS ABLE to hide the TRUTH, to hide everything concerning SALVATION, and with GREAT PLEASURE DOES, for those HE says HE does in HIS WORD.

Jesus says keeping the commandments (all ten, and more) is NOT difficult. How difficult is it to not go commit adultery with a neighbor or co-worker, or acquaintance at chur.......... ooops ! FORGET that last one.... !

It is not "fellowship" when it is in a false gospel. It is only being around one another. There is no fellowship with darkness, there is no fellowship of those in CHRIST (THE LIGHT) with those in darkness..... Only perhaps someone is bedfast, bed-ridden, sick, old, disabled, and then what can they do ? As written "HOLD FAST TO JESUS, TO HIS NAME" and do not learn any more of the deep things of satan (that is taught and practiced in society, in the rcc, false gospels, other religions) .

No ! Where did Jesus tell the decuples that they were to involve themselves in the politics of this world that is Babylon. No he did not. The instruction was we as Believers obey, or to honor the laws those who are of authority over us. Christians today think we have to be politically minded or depending on it for anything. Y'all crossed each other with different meanings. Yahweh set the boundaries FOR ALL THE GOVERNMENTS, yes. The disciples were CALLED by the world: "you simpletons" largely BECAUSE they WOULD NOT GET INVOLVED IN POLITICS ANY MORE (after being born again of Yahweh, they had NO INTEREST IN POLITICS NOR RELIGION NOR FINANCE NOR SOCIETY OF THE WORLD) < shrugs > so they were called SIMPLETONS, and they continues the same today. Well, one point at a time. He preached the GOOD NEWS to the dead. Yahweh raised some of the dead to life in CHRIST. That's the point of YAHWEH, JESUS, THE GOSPEL, and ALL BORN AGAIN OF HIM. What did all the men of YAHWEH, all of His messengers, say about mankind, society , the world (of men as it is) ? Much worse, much much worse, than a garbage dump (even worse than women's rags thrown in the trash). SALVATION is NOT from a "clean world", but from a dead pernicious one; SALVATION is NOT from anything even close to "a good" society, but from a deadly , dangerous, viciously evil one.

Actually, I think we are in it but not of it, simplejeff. As Yahweh's Word says, we are in the world , and not of it. This does not change that Yahweh says "COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE". Out of what? Out of false religion ? Out of babylon? Out of greed ? Out of selfishness ? Out of satan's control ? Our of Society ? To go where JESUS WENT: "OUTSIDE THE GATES" to share in His Shame and Humilitation, so that perhaps we may share in the RESURRECTION LIFE ?

Supposedly, and there seems no reason to doubt this, he has read the Bible, all of it, yet continuously rejects it, like the religious leaders opposed to Jesus did, as Jesus Says. And opposing Scripture, is not a site-rule breaker on this forum, so just that by itself is not enough to silence that which is opposed to Scripture and contrary to Jesus, even though it is devastating to the young readers and weak in faith and the seekers of Salvation.

And even more: perpetrators (sexual and financial and other) are found on every chat room online, and every bulletin board, and every forum, just like they are found in so many churches (tens of thousands ) worldwide, according to law enforcement. To not confront them and preferably to silence them, to not prevent them from gathering more victims, would be a crime in God's Eyes as He says NOT to let the little children/ weak women and men/ be taken by the wolves, etc....
