  1. 9/11 was a government inside job , the elites and high class set this up. 757s can't take down world trade buildings they were blown up from the inside, so much info out there to prove it and yet most people Still believe the lies.
  2. I'm gonna keep it real here with ya. I followed Jesus 1st because I didn't wanna go to hell, I didn't wanna be separated from family in heaven. Now I wanna make Jesus pleased with me. I feel like I said "here Jesus, here's my life and heart" (while still holding on to it) I haven't learned to fully let go and let Jesus in the driver seat of my life. Now I always feel the need to confess my sin to him but am I truly repentant? I find myself returning to same old sins sometimes.
  3. Unfortunately the 2nd. I'm doing my best to read and live the Word but fear (the unhealthy kind) and the enemy constantly in my ear discouraging me...idk I just wanna make my heavenly father pleased but feel like I'm always being disciplined.
  4. I started off in the Baptist church as a young child. My family bloodline has always been in church, some of my uncles are pastors , my grandpa was a pastor. His daddy was a pastor and so forth. I've heard the Word since my youth. I gave my life to Jesus when I was 13. Then in my teens we moved to a Pentecostal church. I left the church in my 20s and didn't hate God or Jesus just thought I wanna see what else is out there. I was backsliding and living all wrong. One day at work I was talking with a friend and we started talking about disney and all the evil symbolism and occult influence it has. That got me thinking about my kids and how i didn't wanna be a wrong influence on my kids either and the Lord starting bringing back to my memory all the Good news he had for me. I wept all night and asked for forgiveness, Jesus is faithful to forgive. (thank you Lord) now in my 30s I'm doing my best to live for Jesus (but I feel like all that time in the world and wrong living and wrong teaching , some of it still lingers and keeps me blinded to simple truths) I believe Jesus led me to this site to be able to learn , gleen, testify, share story's, study and just ask my questions. So to answer the question why I believe, because Jesus had proven himself to me time and time again. Really there's alot more to the answer but I'm keeping it short and sweet and to the point The Gospel!
  5. So forget this "613" nonsense, that's a grevious miscalculation by the Jews as they attempted to codify Torah. Hopefully that we be a relief to read! ^^^ that is eye opening and it was a relief . Jedi, that was amazing to read as well. My spirit jumped for joy (I believe when you read it like this its much easier to understand ) Thank you for the responses Be blessed , Greenie
  6. So I was talking with watchman(servent) the other day and was asking questions, forgive me if this is repeatative. Since Jesus came to fulfil the law not abolish it, and we put our faith and trust in Jesus, we're still meant to keep the law? Like the 10 commandments or the 613 Jewish laws? This is a topic I get hung up on and I'm trying to get right.
  7. Hey , I can be your online friend, as I need new friends myself. I am trying my best to grow in Christ and of course none of my current friends want to acknowledge Jesus. I need Christian friends other then my church family.
  8. Thank you to you all for your responses, I've been taking time to think about what you've said and more importantly what God has to say about it. Waiting on his answers and his time is not an easy task sometimes. Most of my problem is the OSAS topic , I would gladly look into whoever you had in mind. (I will look into that book. ) when I first got saved, it did feel like a weight was lifted. I believed the gospel message, then I was stupid enough to turn my back and go out and do my own thing and got myself all messed up. Backslide for 10+ years. Now coming back feels harder then it should. Another thing I get hung up on is the "true christian" remark. Whose to say who is real Christian or not?!? Am i not a true Christian? I should be more specific I suppose, I meant leave my marriage , see when I came back to my faith I was on fire for the Lord and I was feeling like she was trying to hold me back. Bring me down, like she didn't want anything to do with church, Jesus, praying, nothing of the sort. So I started to worry this is how it's always gonna be. To this day I pray that the Lord softens her heart and she would have the spiritual blinders removed and we could be a team for the Lord. As of now that's not how it is but I pray things will change. (As I write you my response I see how silly I sound about my marriage , especially since I consider myself to be a believer in Jesus Christ) I don't really wanna leave her at all , I just hope things will get better for us spiritually. There's more to talk about but I get space brained sometimes , maybe I should be keeping a notebook of my thoughts so I could express them fully lol
  9. Greetings, I know the last time I was here (years ago) I expressed a problem that I am unequally yoked. I grew up in the church. I met my wife while I was back sliding and sinning. A couple years pass and the Lord starts working on my heart again and I start going back to church and repent of my sins. I try my best to get her to go (without being pushy or forceful) but she's been hurt by the church world and now has a jaded outlook on living for Christ. We've gone to bible studies together, I know once she has said the sinners prayer and she believes in Jesus but we just don't fully live it. So now a days I try so hard to live 100% right and still fail in certain areas and it bugs the ever living outta me. So then I get on here or read my bible and she gets upset with me like I'm not spending enough time with her. With all the crap that the world is going through, I feel like now more then ever is the time to be living right for Christ so I'm so worried about every move I make, word I speak, action I do and I feel like its all sin. It's almost like the holy spirit is saying to me "Nope that still aint right" I only feel calm when reading scripture and even then I'm still confused (I feel like I do it to myself because I've tried to listen to different versions of the bible, or listen to different people give different interpretations on the same subjects. Idk if I decern correctly or not) I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm constantly worrying about my salvation and whether or not I'm fully trusting in Jesus. Sometimes I just don't know what to do. Half of me wants to leave and the other half says never give up. I'm trying to run my race and make it to the end. I wanna hear him say well done thou good and faithful servant. Not depart from me for I never knew you. I need help and lots of prayers. Thanks for listening and reading
  10. So i got a question. Does your stance on post or pre or mid affect your salvation? And can a postie still attend a pre-tribe church or visa versa? Lets not take this to extremes please just a simple answer will do. I dont wanna see a bunch of mud slinging Just curious is all

  13. My church has children in service. Sometimes the pastors wife will take them to children's church in the upper room but for the most part they get to be in the sanctuary. Like Openly Curious said "no children in the church, no future for the church" i forget what verse or chapter its in but im pretty sure the bible says, train your children up in the way they shall go and they will not depart from it (someone correct me if im wrong) and somewhere else im sure it says As for me and my house we shall serve the Lord.
  14. What are you meaning by hit a wall? Like going through a dry season?
  15. Im so glad that God has led me to Worthy. I find it to be a great place to learn and fellowship and ask questions about scripture that im unsure of. I love everybody here and i believe that the mods do an incredible job... now i haven't been here all that long and i see most people have been here some years. I hope to get to know you all and learn from you all and maybe be a blessing to someone while im here. As for the OP i sure it wont be the last time we something like that. Im just gonna pray for them and ask God to soften their heart and for them to ask for forgiveness.
  16. This is sooooooo true....I'm in agreement with you here patriot
  17. Ok so im reading the word of GOD and doing some studying of a lesson my uncle has put together. Its a big 62 page study on the basics that every believer should know. (He knows that i recently rededicated my life back to God and thought it would be helpful) its got a lot of scripture references and one of them happens to be Isaiah 14, 9-21 so im reading and i clearly see it is talking about lucifer. Heres a question that came to my mind and want some help with...bear with me Niv. Isaiah 14 verse 12 says... How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! So in this verse satan is being called morning star...but in Revelation 22 verse 16 Jesus says Niv. Revelation 22 verse 16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David and the bright Morning Star. So my question is how can satan be called morning star and Jesus be called morning star? The only difference i see is that Jesus is called Bright Morning Star. Someone please clarify for me ....im sure im reading something out of context and i love how the members here put things in perspective Thank you, looking forward to some responses Your brother in Christ, Greenie
  18. Amen and amen! We are never guaranteed tomorrow and we shouldn't worry what tomorrow will bring for the time is now. We need to be a witness for our Lord Jesus Christ. Let the Holy Spirit guide our actions and words and let us be hidden behind the cross so that His light will shine through. Good post Sinnersaved.
  19. Please tell which part you are saying no to KpaulG. I kinda asked two questions at once. Thank you tho for your response
  20. So then how about a person who placed his/her faith in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour got saved and became a backsilder? Then was convicted by the Holy Spirit and came back to the Lord and repented and God helped them get their life back on the right road. Was that person considered never saved to begin with? Did they commit apostasy?
