  2. We both speak the same in different ways. By me saying God doesn't force was not meaning he can't use us to be forceful when he needs us to. However we must make sure it is from Him and not Us. God invites us, we either except or refuse. He never forces. I do love the qoute from Dr. Chuck Missler. Unfortunately it is true but sums up exactly my purpose of this post. To look at one's self and make sure we are not working against eachother, against God. Thank you!
  3. This has happened in the past, and some in places now, so it can be expected in the future. Devil's persecution works hard and constantly. This is where the responsibility of higher calling comes in. We are to make ourselves the living reference of God's Word. We are suppose to study, understand and become God's Word. If we can do this, The Holy Trinity can easily use us to deliver God's Teachings to the youth in the future. We all( present and future Christians), already possess the Spirit within us. We only need that recognizable Spirit to be sparked by God. He can teach in and through us from this point on. Devil knows scripture and knows sin in man. Therefore it is all at risk of being misused. Knowing the difference, is knowing God through the Spirit. The Relationship must be strong and true.

  7. One of the biggest problems that leads to misunderstandings is not properly using or considering context. I learned this when speaking with someone who had courses in Spiritual Studies. Once I learned the concept of context. The Bible took on a whole new meaning. Thank you!
  8. True. However this teacher knows where every spit wad came from, was intended for and aimed at. This should be the ideal setting for anyone in Him, whereever they roam. Eventually the Teacher will Grade us all. As a whole and individually.
  9. For a few days now there have been post/threads that have good intentions and purpose but somewhere in there, there seems to be a point where the purpose gets lost in translation. Whether it is in the definition of a word or particular parts in scripture. We seem to get side tracked by our views and omit the opportunity for people to just speak freely. Not everything should be said nor received as an attack. We should be able to free our minds to receive it all and address accordingly with discernment. Not only against our brethren but also within ourselves. We should act as if we have a class project which we all want to pass and receive a good grade. We have to come together, ping ideas off of each other and include everyone. It's not so some take over and others have to be forced to sit back. Or others just zone out and no longer participate. We are all in this class of Teachings from God. We need to remember not all learn the same way, not all think the same way, and in this class, all grades are in one class, so each has different levels of their abilities and understandings. Even more of a reason to help each other out where some may missunderstand. One major rule we can take from God is he does not force. He is patient, he listens and teaches as such.
  10. I know I have seen. The problem is we get nowhere in the trying to prove which method is right. Both are needed in their appropriate time. Not every situation calls for fighting fire with fire, and not every situation can be smoothed over. Yet we waste more time pointing out each other's faults that no one is being helped. It's division and wars can be lost due to division. This is what the Adversary is hoping for. So where some may feel we as warriors need to be on guard and ready to attack, others are like wait for the orders before running head first. Both are necessary, both have their roles, no one is more necessary than the other. They are needed the same. However the orders should come from God not from our own burning desires within. Some times the threads are arguing the very same thing but the individuals are so angry in it heat of a battle. We should check each other but the way we approach each other needs work.
  11. Then this is just a pointless cycle that does not benefit God at all but benefits the Adversary very well. So the ones that point out faults don't want others to point out theirs in a kind way? This is a sad circle of separation where more light is shined on MAN'S bickering and less on what The Word is about.
  12. Strictly going off the content in this picture. It all comes down to people (MAN) trying to use the Word where they want to. They use it to shame others and justify what suits them. People trying to make the Word fit them rather than what the Word actually is. People living in their Truth not God's Truth. The Word is clear when the individual can remove themselves from it. Reading it, speaking it or teaching it, the individual must do this in an open, empty state, where God fills you and projects his Truth. Totally submit yourself to God.
  13. Thank you for this. I have received a similar message today. The higher calling was as you described (and/or the sermon did). It's God's calling. Him granting us his permission to be as he wants us as well as us receiving and giving him permission to use us. It is for us to remove what we know of ourselves and let him fill us with him. We are to lift our eyes to heaven, empty ourselves, let him fill us and then we can do here on earth what he directs from heaven. In doing so we can bring heaven to earth by allow him to do so through us. (I am paraphasing the word I recieved and doing a poor job of it). Forgive me if I may seem a bit distorted. I am still talking in the powerful message he has delivered to me. It was so inspirational and knowledgeable as to the higher calling he has for those he deems his warriors. I fear I can't live up to this, but he also shined light on that. Stating when we are able to think as he does and do as he directs, we must remember we fight on the side of victory. For he has already won this fight, so we should not fear for victory as it is already his and ours through him. I do this message no justice. I will definitely look for it again.   14. To me it's like Faith and Works. With True Faith the works follow. With True Spirit, written word has value. No matter the exact written word the Relationship with Jesus is what makes ALL matter.

  17. See I don't like using labels of Born again Christian or Saved. Not saying I don't understand why they are used. It's just that it seems with the labeling people lose the fact that there are responsibilities that come along with it. Even the way people say I am a Christian. If being Christian, Born Again or Saved were that easy, why would Jesus leave such detail to how we should be in order to be his followers? Faith is not the believing alone. It's the believing in him so that we put in all that is required of us to be as he directs. The works come as a result of having the faith in him. Hope I explained that correctly for it to be understood.
  18. Yes we should have compassion and worry for all souls. Even those against us. I think what your saying is they believe that because they show that they are Christian in their thought of being a Christian yet live as they please not directed by The Word nor Christ they are not a Christian. Now see the problem with arguing with a person in such a mind frame and stating they are not save or not a Christian can have the exact opposite effect as you want. This person is in conflict with her relationship with Christ. We should all be able to relate. Some call it being a babe in Christ. Now the relationship is there because Jesus calls upon them. Yet she like many practicing Christians may not have learned the lessons to bring them to the level of Christianity you may have. That doesn't make her any less of a Christian she is just developing. This is were we must be careful, use discernment in how we approach them because we can end up pushing them further away, AS WELL AS OURSELVES. We have to be patient because no one wants to hear "You're going to hell" (using for emphasize, not saying this is how you do). Just like when speaking to a child we give them rules we want them to follow but sometimes that just pushes them to do it more. In this case it does get real personal and depends on the individual. Definitely pray on it and ask for the right way to approach and handle but DO NOT JUDGE. Answering to post, not trying to pry nor dismiss. You didn't ask for how to handle. You were asking if it were okay to question that someone's faith. No.
  19. You can tell from Scriptures and The Spirit if someone is not doing as God or Christ would want them to do. So you can recognize they claim it but not live it. We have directions for this too. Matthew 10: 11-15 nkjv 11 Whatever town or village you enter, search there for some worthy person and stay at their house until you leave. 12 As you enter the home, give it your greeting. 13 If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. 14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgement than for that city! We can substitute home for the person/individual. You come as a Christian, greet as a Christian, if they recieve, believe and want to achieve as a Christian you stay and guide to Christ. If not remove yourself and the negative from you. Leaving it to God. You decide if it's peaceful and profitable for you in God, but God will do the Judging in the end. You have every right to fellowship and try as a Christian, but we are directed to leave when we need to and leave the rest to God.

  22. You have explained exactly what I was saying. I believe their is a difference between judging and discernment. Judging is for God. Ex. For all the people who lost their families(husbands) who were kill by King David they might have labeled him a murder or sinner. Yet God did not judge (hold him accountable) on that. However God did judge him on the murder he set up on the behalf of his lust. And still yet God place him at his right hand. Only God can do these things, judge these things. Discernment is for us to use to determine if what others do and what we do is right with what God has directed/instructed. I used Matthew 7 1-5 to point out, same as Paul and Peter. If we are not perfect we should not judge someone else's imperfection. We may think we have a position but who says that position we appointed ourselves is the correct position. Only Jesus was perfect here on earth. In John 8: 7 So when they continued asking Him, he raised Himself up and said to them "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." The context of when this was said explains it. None of us are in power or authority to judge another. No matter how saved we believe we are. Now I would never suggest that anyone not help anyone else out. Like you said bring them to truth, but be mindful, use discernment in how you do so. As Paul stated. The Holy Spirit will direct you in your footsteps, just make sure it is The Holy Spirit and not what YOU (any of us) believe is of The Spirit or The Law. There is a big difference.

We are not authorized to judge Yes James 2: 14 nkjv What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works. James 1: 22 nkjv Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. You should question. We are taught discernment and we are given scripture to test individuals and spirits to ensure they are not false prophets. Matthew 7:15-17 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. Test them. The Holy Spirit, with discernment and Scripture will expose them. However also use discernment towards yourself to ensure you do not commit sin by trying to point out another's sin. Matthew 7: 3-5 nkjv And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, Let me remove the speck from your eye, and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother. Once again we are not authorize to judge another and should be mindful of our own words and behaviors when addressing or dealing with one another.
