You have no idea as to the State Of my mind as I post...... I have no anger, no disrespect or anything else negative in regard to you, Personally........I bet you are a great guy . A “ great guy” who has not made it to the place God wants you to be.For your OWN SAKE, God wants to bless you with the promised “ Abundant Life” given to those that REST in the Gospel Of His Amazing Grace.I used to think like you—- I have seen both sides— you have not.I am telling you from experience that you are missing out on the total joy that is out there just waiting to be had. As I post here, I am not even really thinking about you, much less trying to disrespect you......I use Legalist and those with weak, confused faith as “ Springboards” to get the Truth Of “ Nothing But The Blood” out there so that when we return to our churches and sing that song, we would not be found to be liars and hypocrites .Who wants that? I want Newbies to get started out on the right foot as they begin to walk this wonderful , Joyous Walk Of Faith....... I just read the first sentence or two of your post .....I kinda knew what was coming ( no answer to my question, of course )..... It worked for me.....I can GUARANTEE it will work for you! Our God is a God of Promises.....Here is a Promise from our God who will NEVER lie—- “ Turn to Me and I will Turn To You.” Put Him to the Test ! He Loves responding to Faith........

It took you a barrel of computer ink to get there, lol , but your final sentence told me everything I need to know.....you allow a lot of leeway , but your Doctrine still comes down to one that is Performance Based. I Believe That our Security * IS * BULLETPROOF.........Why? “ ALL that come to me through My Son, “ I” will save to the UTTERMOST”. That is merely one of hundreds of Iron-Clad verses. How does ANYBODY explain away just that ONE verse? I have asked you to explain it to me and an on- looking World, But as usual , you evade it.Until you show otherwise , I will put you with the rest of the Multitude—- “ Jesus Saves, BUT!” Jesus Blood is Necessary, it’s just not “ Sufficient” on its own. ....God’s Grace goes VERY far— but it does not go farther than sin—- watch your step! We are “ secure”, but only up to a certain point! “ Saving to the Uttermost” does not really MEAN “ Saving to the Uttermost.” Please show how you explain that away.....no lengthy evasions this time.....please......

James is talking to people that believe in “One God”.......most people believed in thousands of God’s back then and James is letting those who think they are hot stuff because they at least had the sense to reduce the amount of God’s to one, that they are in error if they think they can stop there...... “ Dead Faith” is STILL Faith......not very desirable but it beats the heck out of “NO” Faith .A dead cow produces no milk, but it is still a cow—-A Believer who does not go on to perform the “ good works” that we were all created for will not be blessed in this lifetime nor will he be rewarded in the Next One.Those with NO faith are the ones that will be damned—- those that have put their Faith in Jesus to save them have Eternal Life.....If they choose to sit on that faith and not go on to do the things that please God , they will only hurt themselves. If they ever once turned to God as a lost sinner and put their faith in the Gospel......God will keep His Promise to Save them.... Any Believer is free to live in sin if he so chooses.Some Fools have to learn the hard way, and God has a way to deal with it. Why do you think the Bible talks about “ Chastisement?” When my Children disobey me— they pay the consequences —- no matter what they do, they are “still” my Children......If you are a Child Of God ( become one by Believing 1Cor15:1-4 ) I am sorry.......you are Stuck with it.You May arrive in Heaven with many bruises on your behind, but you WILL arrive......We are Saved by what we Believe......NOT by how we behave....we should rejoice over that Truth......if you choose “ behavior” over Grace as the Way To get to Heaven, the Standard is perfection......good luck with that! It is True that we must “ do the Will Of God” to “ abide forever.” Let’s never forget what the Will Of The Father is— “Believe on the One He sent”.........Believe that Jesus was the One that died for your sins and then rose from the Grave and you Have Believed the Gospel That Saves your soul.

Jesus “Life” Saved Nobody .He was sent to Earth to die.....that death was what changed the World.Had He not died , the World would be lost in their sins with no hope of Salvation.His death enabled the Holy Spirit to come and to indwell Believers and transform their lives into the image of Jesus , making this planet at least half-way bearable until the Day That Christ returns and makes things right......” Without the shedding Of Blood, there is no remission of sin.......”

It is only when we repent and know we are forgiven I am convinced that Believers are forgiven , whether they Repent or not......If I commit a sin, say, cursing at somebody that cuts me off in traffic and then die of a heart attack before I repent , will the Grace Of God cover that sin or am I damned forever ? This is not an attempt to trap you.....I just need to know if you are worth listening to or if you are an adherent to the False Gospel Of “ Lucky Repentance.”People have the right to know , once and for all, what “ Camp” you belong to.......

I did a little study about “ The Armor Of God”........did not see anything in that suit of armor that was analogous to “Repentance”......all the other important things seemed to be included in our “ armor.” What do you Think is up with that?

God clearly put the Onus upon himself to see to it that we “ Endure”.......I don’t give a rat’s patootie what the “ requirement” is .....I don’t care what the “demand” is.......If one has Rested in the Gospel Of Grace Plus Nothing, That person has the Indwelling Spirit Of God in Him and it is the job of that Spirit to “ FINISH the job that GOD STARTED! Nobody here is throwing out the Ten Commandments.......Paul beat us to the punch a long time ago.....They have been “ thrown out” in the sense that they have been “ exposed”........ they have been shown to be “ weak and useless” as far as Salvation is concerned......it has NO POWER to save , it can only condemn......The Law was given so that “ Sin would INCREASE.” Perhaps God thought if sin would increase enough, people would get sick of it and try to find an antidote to it.Paul said the Law could only benefit us if we knew how to use it.The proper purpose of the Law is to show us the folly of trying to keep it and let it take us by the hand , “ stop our mouths” about trying to make the case that we could perform it, and lead us to the One that DID keep it......Jesus.Attempts to keep the Law will all end in failure.If the Holy Spirit opens your eyes to this fact, a Contrite Heart should be the result. A heart that has not been made Contrite will never be ready to receive the Gospel That will save him. A wise person will try to be obedient to the Ten Commandments- God will bless a person for obedience.The Commandments Bless, But they do not Save. “ Obedience” this side Of The Cross means Obedience to the Gospel.We should respect the Law, make sure we use it for its intended purpose and take it off the pedestal we have put it on and replace it with The Gospel Of Grace— something that actually has the POWER to save......

Knowing that ALL of my sins are covered by the Blood Of Jesus Christ makes me want to sin LESS . Once again, it’s one of those “Christian Paradox” thingies......It becomes more and more clear to me that You have to live it to Understand it.......To have ANY chance to live it , you have to do as God Commands— Abandon your disobedience and unbelief by Resting in the Gospel ......don’t settle for a “ Walk Of Faith” That is crippled......You either Trust God or you don’t ......Your reaction to the Gospel is a test from God........Don’t Be Of the same mind-set that left the Untrusting Jews to die in the Wilderness......have the Courage to step out in Faith...... “ Let go and let God”.....

Amazing.....I was just preparing to start a new thread .....one of my favorite Teachers ( Les Feldick) made the statement that “ The Bible is a closed Book for those who do not have the Holy Spirit in them.” I was going to share and expand on that Truth.....Thanks for giving me the chance to save some valuable computer ink.....lol...

What is on display here is the continued and unwarranted confusion about Hebrews 10.......The Power Of ONE misunderstood verse that if Believed as some think it should be believed, cancels out hundreds of verses that are so clear , a child can understand them......such as, “ ALL that come to Me through My Son Jesus Christ, I WILL SAVE TO THE UTTERMOST”........ hard to argue against that one, don’t you think? There are many, many iron- clad verses similar to that one. Newbies— PLEASE ......save yourself from years of needless fears, based on nothing but ignorance ....Pray that God give you insight and go to the Video Section Of Worthy.....George has provided a brilliant video by Tozer that so simply puts to rest this “scary” verse, only the most stubborn people can dismiss it......

If a born again person makes a habit of fornicating, they are a fornicator. Don't think otherwise! If they repent they are covered. If they repent a hundred times they are covered. But it is possible a born again person can get so into sin they just quit repenting. A “ Born Again person who makes a habit of Fornicating” is a Forgiven Fornicator...He May or May not know it , but if he “ does not judge himself” and stop his sinful behavior, God will not hesitate to Chastise a Carnal Believer and get him in line.If a foolish Believer chooses to ignore God’s chastening hand , God may decide to take him Home years prematurely .He is still a Believer— His Salvation is secure because God’s Grace trumped his sins.He is one of the types that Paul says will make it, but he will make it like a man who escaped a fire by the skin of his teeth....He will suffer loss when rewards are passed out to those who were wise and lived lives that were pleasing to God—— those who discovered the secret of obedience— Love. A side product of Resting in the Gospel Of Grace .....

God's grace is very powerful, but it cannot go beyond His written word. It is that simple. God’s Grace “ IS” very powerful, and of course it can’t go beyond His written Word. So what does His written Word say? “ Where sin abounds, Grace abounds that much more.” Grace sure is unfair, isn’t it? That’s why it is called “ Grace”— UNMERITED Favor. God’s Ways are not our ways. Grace is NOT fair......and sinners like you and I should get on our knees and thank God that it isn’t ! If not for the Power Of God's grace.... you and I and everybody else would be going to Hell Without any Hope.Yes, Grace is not fair—- get used to it.

We should keep the typical Teacher away from teaching Christianity in schools for the same reasons the typical Sunday School Teacher should be kept away from teaching Calculus in the Churches......it would be a miracle if either side knew what they were talking about.....

I am so weary and frankly, bored , to have to deal with Modern-Day Judaizers That add to Paul’s Gospel Of Pure Grace with their “ Lucky Repentance Saves” perversion Of God’s Word.Confused, poorly taught people that lack the Faith to Trust in the Grace Of God and just INSIST on adding works to the Finished Work Of The Cross, have taken a good thing like Repentance and turned it into Leaven.”Leaven is Anything one adds to the Gospel .....Anything That trues to add Human Merit to Salvation..... I have seen many Legalists come and go here at Worthy.Paul never told us Gospel Believers to try to persuade Legalists......he never said to beg or argue with them.....he never even told True Believers to Pray for those who have been deceived— thinking that there is ANYTHING that needs to be added to “Nothing But The Blood.” Paul said to throw them out of the Church.Period.The following is a copy of what I posted to our previous Gospel “ Perverter” ( Paul’s term, not mine) Margo.As said , I am tired of arguing what should be obvious to anybody with God’s Spirit in them every other week.Enjoy the following excerpt of an old Post to Margo .....it is meant mainly for Newbies — I try to grab them with the Truth before they get ruined by those that say “ Lucky Repentance” trumps Grace in God’s Plan Of Salvation.... There must have been some type of printing error in my Bible......mine did NOT say, “ By “Repentance” thou art saved, not by Works, lest any man should boast” My Bible said “ By Grace thou art saved.......” Grace is a non- existent word in the ugly World Of Leaven and Legalism.....It’s all about Repentance in the nick-Of-time, i.e. “ Lucky” Repentance .....I don’t think God will have anything to do with it....HIS Way is Grace......Grace Plus Nothing.....best get with The Plan.....

Here’s a possibility for what this life is all about......Satan did not Trust God....He rebelled and convinced one third of Heaven to join him......God is now in the process of finding replacements for the Gang that got booted out of Heaven— God is looking for people to Trust Him, and for that Trust , given by people who have the freedom to do otherwise, He will give everything.... Satan told Adam and Eve, That If they ate from the Tree Of Knowledge Of Good and Evil, That they would know right from wrong and “ be like God.” God uses the Bible to prove that Satan is a liar — “ Knowing right from wrong” is a far cry from “ Doing” right from wrong. Of course , most of this is purely conjecture......

Here we see The latest variation on “ Lucky Repentance.” May I direct your attention to a site called “ The Narrow Way” Where God’s Way Of Salvation— GRACE PLUS NOTHING— has cleverly been supplanted by a confused misunderstanding of the part Repentance plays in Salvation—— right up your alley! I am so weary of having to contend with this “ treading on the Blood Of Jesus” every month or so, I can’t even force myself to explain the absurdity of it and how it reveals that any adherent to this “Perversion” Of Paul’s Gospel is “ Fallen From Grace” If he Believes it, and “ Accursed” by God if he Preaches it.Some people are so comfortable adding to the Gospel , they think it is a small thing.....assuming that they are even “ thinking” at all.All that can be said is this—- Read Galations and pray to God that He Opens your eyes.....you are in VERY dangerous territory.

The Book Of John, the very Book that Established Christians most frequently use to guide New Christians and those people “ sitting on the fence” to read.The recommended Book for people who have never picked up a Bible......it does not contain the word “ repentance” one single time .Yet John uses the word “ Believe” over one hundred times. What’s up with that? A Book that contains John3:16 and other Salvation verses that leaves out such an “ essential” part of Salvation as Repentance? It just does not make sense....... Here is an explanation .....People automatically assume any time the word “ Repent” is used, it means “ repent from sins” Not so.That phrase , attached to Salvation , is nowhere to be found in the KJV. If God says “ repent of sins”—- by all means , do it. But the Bible never says “ Repent of sins to be saved.” Nobody will be saved without repenting ,but we have to realize what the word means.I have pointed it out many times and so have others.The Greek Word “ metanoia” that the Translators called “ repentance means literally “ mind change.” Everybody who is Hell-Bound due to being a Non-Believer in regard to who Jesus is and what He did for us at the Cross , must “ change their mind”about this.They must Believe that Jesus was God in Flesh that died for for the Sins Of the World by the Finished Work Of The Cross and that three days later He arose from the dead .THAT is the Gospel That Saves. In a nutshell, one can “ repent of their sins” and NEVER become a Believer.On the other hand , if one has TURNED from Unbelief in Jesus and His Gospel to a Belief in Jesus and His Gospel they have automatically undergone the “ change of mind” or Repentance That Salvation requires .John never had to mention Repentance.....its Built-In with Belief.Remember— one can repent without Believing, but if you became a Believer after being an Unbeliever—— you have Repented automatically.

Whatever this “ Pitfall” is that poor, deceived , Behold has fallen into.....I would consider it an honor and a Blessing from God to join him in it.....come to think of it, I think I am already there ! Behold’s Doctrine looks like one of those Doctrines where Jesus gets ALL of the credit, and I get NONE......just the way it “ Should” Be....Nothing But The Blood. I sure am happy that I don’t have to be the one arguing against that .....

But there are also preachers and teachers who teach to sin that grace may abound, and Jude clearly warns against them as Does Peter Ever since I came here I keep hearing about these guys, yet NOT ONCE has anybody produced any evidence....” To say “ put up or shut up” would be a bit on the crude side, so I will just ask again, for the zillionth time—show me who is actually saying this......Guys Like Osteen are misguided to say the least, but I have never heard him or anybody else say anything even close to “Go out and Sin”
