As you say we will be changed:- 0 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”[h]

It is not a case of the name being unique but of the honour given to that person. Many people today, in catholic countries, are called Jesus and as you say it was a common name in biblical times. Yet when Jesus is said, who do people think of? These people:- https://playback.fm/people/first-name/jesús or Jesus called the Christ, the Son of the living God.

How are you involved in these and other ministries. If we take the idea of the 'widows mite' and apply it to our involvement in local, national and international charitable and Christian missions, it is out intent and practical support no matter how small that matters.

I am always challenged by one of the prayers that heralded the lewes revival back in the 1940s, " Lord make me as clean as a saved sinned can be. " Our purity always comes from the Lord, we have to seek to live a ' pure ' life, but our faliures get forgiven.

May I suggest taking a hard look at how your church is involved in ' good works '. Is it just a case of once a year we give money to help that charity, or is there more active and regular involvement? Meeting strangers, something we do all the time as we go shopping, to the gymn, cinema, theatre, support local events, schools, charities etc. Do we actually meet people, do we talk to them? What impression do we leave, what conversations challenge them. What does our church regularly pray about? What do we regularly pray about, do we even have the knowledge to pray intelligently about those in need?

Yet that is not how we view one another. We all make value judgements about each other and none of us like the idea that so and so is better than us. Pride in ourselves, drives us to do our best, but also damages our relationships. Philippians has it 2 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. We should be looking after each other, not lowering ourselves but elivating others.

Eight People Survived Because They Listened and Obeyed God = Genesis 7;19-23

They had physical life because they obeyed. Now it is Spiritual eternal life if one listens and obeys. -
About the presence or unction of the Holy Spirit?
Who me replied to CaptWalker's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
As others have said God doesn't normally speak to us through dreams, get advice from Christians you trust/respect about your issue. You arn't sleeping because you are worrying about not sleeping and about what ever your question is. -
Are all answered by a reading of the new testament or by talking with your pastor. It would help if you explained why you were asking these questions.

Christianity does not stand or fall by the behaviour of Christians. You have had bad experiences of two churches, may I encourage you to keep looking at churches, visiting them andseeking Christian fellowship. Be honest with other minister, let them know you have had bad experiences, even bluntly ask how would they react to comments about members of there church, or ask about there safeguarding/complaint policies.

Because we are afraid and need that constant reminder not to be afarid.

The sting of death will be finally removed when Jesus returns, until then it is natural to fear the unknown. As death is an unknown, it is the anticipated known that we fear. The long drawn out process of dying, or the anticipated possibility of pain that we fear because it is unknown. We need to dwell on the positive aspects of death, that it is not the end. We have a hope.

May I suggest that you do a ' review ' of your new church. Note how welcoming were they, how clear was the order of service, relevance of worship songs, intrusiveness of any background music, relevance and application of sermon, were you spoken to before and after the service and how good was any after service drinks. Do this now and repeat in about a months time, do it also for your current church and present the results to the relevent ministers. Explain why you are doing this and that it is intended to be helpful to him and his church.

We are told we will live in a 'new heaven and a new earth', these will not be devoid of plant or animal life. Will our pets be there? I personally don't think so, but we will be able to form ne relationships with the animals living there.

The Christian Stance- Offensive or Defensive?
Who me replied to Starise's topic in General Discussion
Is useless if we are not trained and experienced in its use. Not college trained, but through self discipline and living for Jesus, we know scripture, are able to pray and trust God. No one becomes able to stand without effort on their part. In our daily living we are on the front line of battle, it is where we learn to trust and use the weapons God has equipped us with. -
How many Christian plane companies do you know of? Are you a qualified pilot? If you are and are working as a pilot, you like in any job, can be a Christian employee. If it is flying in a missionary organisation then you are clearly unaware that missionaries raise their support from churches. Talk to your minister about why they don't support missionaries. If you don't have a church, find one and get involved as you will be looking for them to help you.

Depends how winning is shown in the game. The devil thought he had won when Pharaoh order the death of new born baby boys, when the israelite lost at AI, when Saul died, David sinned etc etc leading to Jesus's death. It depends how the game goes on and what winning the game actually means.

May I suggest talking to him about getting angry over a game and about his language? We all get angry, the driver who cuts us up, that rude customer/sales/colleague/boss, or because of injustice in the world, none of it justifies foul language. So maybe he needs breaks from his game.

Were there anyone on the earth at same time as adam and eve
Who me replied to Abdull's topic in Everything Else
Adam was the first man and Eve was the first women. We are All decended from Adam and Eve. In that we are all part of the same human family then yes we are inbred, but No we are not because from a perfect man and women it takes a great many generations for genetic errors to build up and cause the sort of problems inbreeding causes. In the bible the command against marrying a close relative only appears after the Israelites had left Egypt. -
How would an action game defeat ideas? example, your team of rpg meet xenu, and are challenged to define the difference between there belief and scientologys belief. How do people with no knowledge of Christianity or scientology win such a contest? Another senario, there is a knock at the door, the rpg player answers to find two humans, they ask aquestion. enter random JW doorstep opener. How does the rpg player respond, violence looses the game? I think you need to think very carefully how you form your game.
