Luke 6 is Luke's account of the same message from Matthew 5 through 7. This is clear from reading the whole passage. In fact Luke's account goes on to finish in much the same way that Matthew 7:21-28 does. Verse 47 "Whoever comes to me and hears my sayings and does them..." Clearly both Luke 6:46-49 and Matthew 7:21-28 is about putting the teachings of Christ into actual practice because Jesus specifically says: "Therefore... whoever hears these sayings of mine and does not put them into practice..." The immediate context around both passages makes crystal clear what they are about. But the attack from the enemy is to have us to disregard the specific teachings of Christ. In one way or another all the false ones try to keep people away from the specific teachings Christ gave. Either by saying that they are too hard for anyone to actually do, which is the opposite of what scripture says: "His commands are not burdensome" 1 John 5:3 Or by saying that the teachings of Jesus were only for the Jews, and that notion is clearly wrong when we examine John 14:21-24. Paul specifically said: "If any man preaches otherwise, and agrees not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine that is according to godliness, he is proud knowing nothing" 1 Timothy 6:3-4 What words are both actual words from Christ and the doctrine that is according to godliness? > Matthew 5 through 7:21-28. "and they were astonished at His doctrine for He taught as one having authority" "Whoever transgresses (disobeys the Torah 1 John 3:4) and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God" 2 John 1:9-10 ------- And if we sincerely believe in the Son, would we not obey the Son, believing that His way is the best way? "And that He died for all, that they which live should henceforth not live unto themselves, but unto Him that died for them and rose again" 2 Corinthians 5:15 Can we live for Him without doing what He wants us to do? "Why call ye me Lord Lord and do not the things that I say?" Luke's account. "Not everyone that says to me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven..." "Therefore everyone that hears these sayings of mine..." That's Matthews account. Clearly they are saying the same thing. And they go on in unison: "Whoever comes to me and hears my sayings and does them... is like a wise man that built his house upon The Rock." That's Luke "Whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them is like a wise man that built his house upon The Rock". That's Matthew. Clearly two accounts of the same one message from Christ.

The television can surely also be an idol, and surely it is one of the main methods by which the general public is literally brainwashed. -
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private origin, for the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man... Any private origin, it originates from the Holy Spirit moving men to speak. ""false teaching that goes on in the church today... forgive others lest the Father not forgive you... "" Forgive others is what Jesus said to do. You say we don't have to actually follow Jesus? Jesus taught righteousness and empowers believers, through His Spirit, to follow the righteousness that He taught. [Galatians 5:18-24] "And that He died for all, that they which live should henceforth not live unto themselves, but unto Him that died for them and rose again" 2 Corinthians 5:15 Can we live for Christ without doing the things Christ said to do? Another way to understand Matthew 7:21-23 is Luke 6:46 "Why call ye me Lord Lord and do not the things that I say?"

The day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty.. And they shall go into the hols of the rocks and into the caves of the earth for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake terribly the earth. Isaiah 2:12,19 For the day of the Lord comes, for it is nigh at hand. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses... The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and moon shall be dark, the stars shall withdraw their shining. And the Lord shall utter His voice before His army.. for the day of the Lord is great. Joel 2:1-11 describes the Lords army, on horses. The Lord shall cause fire with His voice: Isaiah 30:30-31. The Messiah is the Lord: Micah 5:2-5, 1 Tim 3:16. "the sun shall be darkened, and the moon turned to blood" Matthew 24:29 the sun became black as sackcloth, and the moon became as blood. Revelation 6:12 "and the stars shall fall from the sky" Matthew 24:29 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth Revelation 6:13 "... then shall the tribes of the earth mourn" Matthew 24:30 And everyone on earth hid themselves in caves and rocks of the mountains. Revelation 6:15 And said fall on us and hide us from the face of Him that sits upon the throne... for the great day of His wrath has come. Revelation 6:17 "And He shall send forth His angels with the great sound of a trumpet and they shall gather His chosen ones from the four winds from one end of the sky to the other." Matthew 24:31 Come from the four winds, Oh breath of life, and breath upon these slain that they may live. And they stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. Ezekiel 37:9-10 The marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready... to her was granted to be clothed in fine linen... The armies in the sky followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen. The beast and false prophet and the kings of the earth were gathered to fight Christ and His army. And the beast and false prophet were captured and thrown alive into the lake of fire and the rest were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded from His mouth and all the birds were filled with their flesh. Revelation 19:7-21. "For wheresoever the bodies are, there will the birds be gathered together" Matthew 24:28 ------- Revelation is telling the one same story repeatedly, using intertwining different visions, each giving different details of the same one story, the same one set of events prophesied in other places in scripture. It becomes very clear when we put all the prophecy together.

Moses summarized the law as follows: "Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your hearts... Love ye therefore the stranger" Deuteronomy 10:16-19. All of the prophets summarized the law in similar ways: Isaiah 1:11-20, Jeremiah 22:3-5, Zechariah 7:9-12, 8:14-17 And the Messiah, the messenger of the covenant, specifically said: "Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do you even also to them, for this is the law and the prophets" Matthew 7:12 Having His words in mind, is one part of being under the renewed covenant: "I will put my law in their mind.." Believing that the Messiah died and physically rose from the dead grants one the Holy Spirit inside of their heart. "..and hearts" Thereby it is sincere belief in the Messiah that is the fulfillment of the renewed covenant. We literally have the whole law in mind because of His message: Matthew 7:12, John 15:12. And we literally have the law in heart because of His work; His death and resurrection. One sincerely following His message, His voice, is considered to be His sheep. John 10:26-28 He will lead and guide such a one, to righteousness and godliness and eternal life. Ezekiel chapters 40 to the end describes life during the 1000 year reign of Christ, the law will be followed during that time, and it shall be the prince, The prince, it shall be the princes part to kill and to offer all burnt offerings. Ezekiel 45:17.

1 Corinthians 15:2 "By which ye are saved if ye hold fast to the word I preached unto you, unless you believed in vain" Gospel means "good news". All of the prophets, the Messiah and Paul all preached the one and same good news: Deuteronomy 10:16-19 "Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your hearts... love ye therefore the stranger" Isaiah 1:11-20 Love. Jeremiah 22:3-5 Love. Zechariah 7:9-12, 8:14-17 Love. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, for this is the law and the prophets Matthew 7:12 For all the law is fulfilled in one word even this; Love your neighbor as yourself. Galatians 5:14, Romans 13:8-9, 1 Corinthians 13. Therefore what avails anything is faith that works by love. The love that the Messiah and Paul taught.

"This shall be the covenant, I will put my law in their minds and hearts" Jeremiah 31:33 The Messiah is "the messenger of the covenant" Malachi 3:1 The Messiah said "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, for this is the law and the prophets" Matthew 7:12 Those who believe Him thereby have the whole law in mind. The Messiah died and physically rose from the dead, shedding the Holy Spirit into the world. [Acts 2:16-38] Those who believe in Him thereby have the Holy Spirit in their hearts, empowering them to live a holy life. Thereby the renewed covenant is literally fulfilled via the Messiah; the messenger of the covenant.

Let's talk about the faith of Jesus Christ
Desopixi Seilynam replied to Peterlag's topic in General Discussion
God is a Spirit: John 4:24 an actual Spirit filling heaven and earth: Jeremiah 23:24. He just is and always was. There is an actual spiritual realm, we are actual spirits encased in flesh. 1 Kings 17:17-22. Luke 24:37-39 Holy means set apart. Before creation God set apart, made holy, a part of His Spirit for the purpose of giving birth to and indwelling Christ. The Holy Spirit is the part of God that interacts inside of flesh. During the old testament, one had to be very special and righteous to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit. [Psalm 51:11] Jesus was born directly of the Holy Spirit of God: Luke 1:35. Jesus died and rose physically from the dead, literally shedding the Holy Spirit of God upon all flesh. [Acts 2:16-38] No longer does one need to be special and righteous to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit, one only needs to believe in Christ. And because Jesus was born directly of the Holy Spirit, therefore the words that Jesus spoke are the most direct words from the Holy Spirit. As He said: "The words I speak to you they are spirit and they are life" John 6:63 And the apostles therefore explained: "And if you are led by the Spirit you are not under the letter of the law" Galatians 5:18 "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control" Galatians 5:22-23 "And they that belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts" Galatians 5:24 "Be not deceived, God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. He that sows to the flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption, He that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting" Galatians 6:7-8 Therefore we understand that by following Christ we overcome our flesh based nature. Following Christ means following the things Christ taught; His voice, His words: [Matthew 5 through 7:21-28, 2 John 1:9, 2 Corinthians 5:15, 1 Tim. 6:3-4, John 10:26-28] Our sincere faith in Christ motivates us to actually follow Christ, and by faith we understand and believe that we have the actual Holy Spirit of God inside of us literally and divinely empowering us to live as Christ taught. -
The will of the Father: "I will raise Israel up a prophet... and whoever will not hearken unto Him will be destroyed from among the people" Deut. 18:18-19 [Acts 3:23] "Not everyone that says to me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that does the will of my Father... Therefore.. everyone that hears these sayings of mine [Matthew 7:12] and does not put them into practice is like a fool that built his house upon the sand..." Matthew 7:21-28. [2 John 1:9, 2 Corinthians 5:15, 1 Timothy 6:3-4. 1 Corinthians 16:22 + John 14:21-24]
-
"The words I speak to you they are spirit and they are life" John 6:63 Focusing on the words Christ spoke, which are all about our state of mind: Matthew 5 through 7, Luke 6:27-49 literally renews the mind. "and if you are led by the Spirit you are not under the letter of the law" Galatians 5:18 In other words: The fruit of focusing on Christ is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control.

Will one unforgiven sin send you to hell?
Desopixi Seilynam replied to Ineedhugs's topic in General Discussion
The lake of fire is not present yet. One not going to heaven can end up in one of three places; Hades, death, or the sea. [Revelation 20:13] At the end, the Lord will return and set this current realm all on fire, the sky will melt and the sea will become lava. [2 Peter 3:10-12, Rev. 19:20-21, 20:13-15, 21:1,Isaiah 30:30-31, Micah 5:2-5] The divine resulting fire is called the second death. [Rev 20:13] Fear not them that can kill the body but are not able to kill the soul. Fear Him that can kill both body and soul in hell fire. Matthew 10:28 ------- Christ preached the good news: Luke 4:18-21 What Christ preached is: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, for this is the law and the prophets" Matthew 7:12 Therefore we believe and understand that the whole law is about sincere love for your fellow man. As Paul explained: "For this; thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal... and if there be any other command, it is summed up in this saying, namely: Love your neighbor as yourself." Romans 13:9 "Love works no ill to his neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law" Romans 13:10 One sincerely following the simple teaching of Christ will be led away from fleshly desires. "The words I speak to you they are spirit and they are life" John 6:63 "If you are led by the Spirit you are not under the letter of the law" Galatians 5:18 "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control" Galatians 5:22-23 Therefore we need only focus on Christ. ------ Therefore what leads to damnation is a rejection of Christ, knowing His teaching and yet willingly and purposefully disobeying it. "If we sin willingly ( *against Christ ) after that we have come to the realization of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sin, but a certain fearful looking for of judgement and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries." Hebrews 10:26-27 * It is a sin to eat pork. It is a sin to wear mixed fabric. It is a sin to not observe all of the various Sabbaths and feast days. There are some 600+ laws in the Torah. Indeed the grace of God is overlooking many things for those who believe in and follow Christ. All that is required is that we follow Christ. Therefore one purposefully disobeying Christ is worthy of worse punishment than a non-believer. "Of how much worse punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, a common thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?" Hebrews 10:29 -
Deuteronomy 18:18-19 [Acts 3:23] declares that the Messiah would be a prophet speaking the words of God, and that everyone must hearken/listen to Him. Isaiah 42:21 says the Messiah would "magnify the law and make it honorable". Isaiah 53 says the Messiah would suffer for all. [Daniel 9:26] Isaiah 56 declares that Gods covenant is for all. Jeremiah 31:33 tells us what Gods ultimate covenant is; "This shall be the covenant, I will put my law in their minds and hearts". Malachi 3:1 says the Messiah is "the Messenger of the covenant". --- From those passages together with the record we have of Joshua of Nazareth; [now commonly called Jesus, in other words; Yeshua; Yahoshua: 'God is Salvation' 'God is the Savior'] we can understand that He is the Messiah; the Messenger of the covenant. --- So what did Joshua of Nazareth say that would put the whole law inside of peoples minds? [mind] "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, for this is the law and the prophets" Matthew 7:12 [John 15:12, 2 Corinthians 5:15, 1 Tim 6:3-4] If that is true, then we can have the whole entire law in mind by just memorizing that one sentence, and that is good news. And what did Joshua of Nazareth do that fulfilled the covenant? [heart] He died and physically rose from the dead, shedding the Holy Spirit of God upon all flesh as prophesied via Joel. [Acts 2:16-38] All mankind can interact with the Holy Spirit and be indwelt by the Holy Spirit simply by believing in the Messiah. Those who believe in the Messiah are counted worthy to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit. For those who don't believe, the Holy Spirit is just outside of their hearts, knocking and desiring to enter in. That is what was accomplished via the work of the Messiah, in other words; the Holy Spirit can interact with even sinners because of what Christ did. Sincere interaction with the Holy Spirit leads to righteousness, holiness and eternal life. [Galatians 6:7-8, Titus 3:5-6 kjv] ------- The Messiah was born directly of the Holy Spirit: Luke 1:35. The Messiah said: "The words I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life" John 6:63 Therefore it is the Messiah that is the most direct orator of the Holy Spirit. What the Messiah taught is the direction that the Holy Spirit wants all believers to go. What the Messiah taught is The Way. --- And the apostles explained: "If you live after the flesh, you shall die. If you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the flesh, you shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Romans 8:13-14 "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self control" Galatians 5:22-23 "And they that belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts" Galatians 5:24 "Be not deceived, God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. He that sows to the flesh, shall of the the flesh reap corruption. He that sows to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting" Galatians 6:7-8 "Hereby we do know that we know Christ, if we keep His commands" 1 John 2:3-4 "Whosoever transgresses (disobeys the Torah 1 John 3:4) and abides not in the teachings of Christ, has not God. Whoever abides in the teachings of Christ has both the Father and the Son" 2 John 1:9-10 [Matthew 7:28] "If any man preaches otherwise, and consents not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the teaching that is according to godliness, he is proud knowing nothing" 1 Timothy 6:3-4 "If any man does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let that man be anathema, Oh Lord Come!" 1 Corinthians 16:22 "He that has my commands and keeps them, he it is that loves me" John 14:21-24. [This passage also makes clear that His teachings are for all mankind] "This is my commandment, that you love one another" John 15:12 Luke 6:27-49. For what avails anything is faith that works by love. Faith that works, by love. Galatians 5:6 The love that the messenger of the covenant taught: Luke 6:27-49, Matthew 7:12, Romans 13:8-10, Galatians 5:14. Those who sincerely believe in the Messenger of the covenant, therefore sincerely believe in and hold fast to His message. ------- All thoughts are welcome

We are headed towards the climax of the black horse period of time; world wide economic collapse.

Five are fallen and one is, that is the sixth king, if five are fallen... The 6th king is not the beast, the eighth king is the one described as "was and is not and yet is" The connections we have are the other passages of scripture; "And I saw one of his heads as if it were wounded to death, and his deadly wound was healed, and all the world wondered at the beast" 13:3 which clearly connect with 17:8 "all the world shall wonder... when they behold the beast that was and is not and yet is" Therefore was and is not is referring to his seeming healing from death. "Was and is not and yet is", is clearly the fullness of the description.

"ted talk; innovating to zero" Just need to pay attention to the first 5 minutes of that talk. The vaccine will be used to reduce the population. It's likely that some will be clandestinely given something that makes it so that they can not have children. It has already been done in other countries.. This coming vaccine is not the mark of the beast, it's simply that they (the evil ones) want to reduce the worlds population. The country of Denmark already passed a law requiring vaccinations. I hope that does not happen in every country. But then there is the name itself; C.o.v.id-19 Certificate of vaccination id ... ------- The clue that the Bible gives us about the mark is the number; 666. That is the great clue dear one, people will literally have a mark in and on ( a tattoo is in and on, and an electronic tattoo is very much so in and on) hand or forehead that clearly represents the number 666 and is associated with one claiming to be God and is used for everyday buying and selling.

The Mark of the Beast (what it really is explained)
Desopixi Seilynam replied to BlessedCreator's topic in Prophecy
The king James translates it as "the time is at hand" which would mean that it is ongoing/happening. Christ died and rose from the dead, and when He ascended up into heaven, He then right away opened the first seal, starting the end times. Rev 5:5 World wide conquest, the white horse time, culminated around the Napoleon era, and is still ongoing. World wide war, the red horse, culminated around Hitlers time, and is still ongoing. World wide economic collapse, the black horse time, is underway. Afterward will be the pale horse, death personified; the anti-Christ period of time. Then Revelation chapter 6 ends with a clear depiction of the day of the Lord as prophesied in Joel and Isaiah; the stars falling, and men hiding in rocks and caves. Revelation 8 onward then tells the same story over again using different visions each giving different details. -
Indeed, the modern notion of 'grace' has many confused, ultimately they still believe that Church attendance is the main thing, and thereby neglect their state of mind. The good news is that the spirit of the law is what is important: Exodus 23:1-9 Love your neighbor, strangers, enemies and them that hate you. Leviticus 19:9-34 Love your neighbor and strangers. Deuteronomy 10:16,19 "Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart" "Love ye therefore the stranger" Deuteronomy 18:18-19 "I will raise Israel up a prophet.. and shall put my words in his mouth.. and it shall come to pass that whosoever will not hearken to him shall be destroyed from among the people" [Acts 3:23] "Also the sons of the stranger that join themselves to the Lord.. and hold fast to my covenant even them will I bring to my holy mountain for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all people" Isaiah 56:3-7 "Behold the days come says the Lord, that I will make a renewed covenant.. this shall be the covenant, I will put my law in their minds and hearts" Jeremiah 31:31-33 "Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do you even so to them, for this is the law and the prophets" Matthew 7:12 John 15:12 A big part of the good news is the actual words of Christ; He preached the good news; [Luke 4:18-21] the fulfillment of Deuteronomy 18:18-19 and Jeremiah 31:31-33. One holding dear the words of Christ, because of a belief in Christ, is therefore very literally under the renewed covenant; having the whole law [Matt 7:12] literally in their mind and heart. And that needs to be the focus; Christ and therefore the actual words of Christ. The words He spoke are spirit and are life, John 6:63 therefore being led by His Spirit is to be led by His words, and if you are led by the Spirit you are not under the law. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and self control. And they that are Christs have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. Galatians 5:22-24 And so yes, a mind focused on the love that Christ taught would not use course jokes or other things that could potentially cause another person to needlessly hurt or feel shame. Love is first and foremost, as we are led by the love that Christ and Paul taught we are led away from flesh based desires. ------- "If any man does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let that man be anathema" 1 Corinthians 16:22 "He that has my commands and keeps them he it is that loves me" John 14:21 "This is my command, that you love one another" John 15:12

From what scripture do you draw that conclusion? The beast was and is not and yet is, is the fullness of what the passage tells us, and using the clues from Rev 9:11, 11:7 we know that Revelation 17 is describing the same beast from Revelation 13. Therefore it is clearly referring to the wounding/healing; Rev 13:3 because 17:8 says "all the world shall marvel..." How can we conclude that "was and is not" means the beast was alive before John wrote Revelation? "Five have fallen and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he comes, he must continue a short time" Rev 17:10 5 have fallen and 1 is, so that is 6, and the other (the 7th) is not yet come... So the seventh has not yet come is what is written. "And the beast that was and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven..." Rev 17:11 So definitely he is not before John wrote, because John is told that the 6th beast is, but the seventh has not yet come, and the one who "was and is not" is the eighth. We can not conclude therefore that the one who "was and is not" is alive before John wrote Revelation, the opposite is what the text clearly tells us.

If Thou Wilt Return, O Israel, Saith The LORD
Desopixi Seilynam replied to Walter and Deborah's topic in General Discussion
For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers. Jeremiah 4:31 "They have healed also the crushing of the daughter of my people superficially, saying, Peace peace, when there is no peace." Jeremiah 6:14 "I will be a swift witness against... false swearers... and them that turn aside the stranger from his right." Malachi 3:5 "[Esau] should not have gloated over [his] brother in the day that he became a stranger." Obadiah 1:6,12,14 "You rely upon your sword... and shall you posses the land?" Ezekiel 33:26 "For the day of the Lord is near..." Obadiah 1:15 "Deliverers shall come up on mount Zion, to judge the mount of Esau, and the kingdom shall be the Lords." Obadiah 1:21 -
"knowing therefore the terror of the Lord we persuade men... And that Christ died for all that they which live should henceforth not live unto themselves but unto Him that died for them and rose again" 2 Corinthians 5:11-15. "If any man loves not the Lord Jesus Christ, let that man be Anathema" 1 Corinthians 16:22 "He that has my commands and keeps them, he it is that loves me" John 14:21-24 "This is my commandment; that you love one another" John 15:12, Matthew 7:12, Luke 6:27-49

"The beast that you saw, was, and is not, and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit and go into destruction:" "And they that dwell on the earth shall marvel, whose names are not in the book of life, when they behold the beast that was and is not and yet is." Revelation 17:8 "was and is not, and yet is" Alive, seemingly killed, and seemingly healed from death. Rev 13:3 and 17:8 speak of the same thing. ------- The book of Revelation is telling the same one story repeatedly using different visions each giving different details, this is clear due to Rev 9:11, 11:7, 17:8. The beast described in Revelation 13:1-10 is described again in Revelation 17. "seven heads, and ten horns" Revelation 17:10-12 specifically tells us that the heads are kings, and that the beast that "was and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into destruction" ---- Therefore we can conclude that "was and is not" is a reference to the fact that while he may seem to have been healed, he really is not, because he will go into destruction.

Three Questions Desperately Needing to be Answered ....
Desopixi Seilynam replied to Gideon's topic in General Discussion
As believers we should remember that there is always a way out of every temptation; 1 Corinthians 10:13, therefore when tempted we should think about and look for that way out. We should consider ourselves dead to sin, and by faith realize that we have a new nature that is only truly satisfied in new ways, our old ways therefore will no longer truly satisfy. -
The first beast; Revelation 13:1-10, is a; religious king... He is the seventh, and after he is seemingly wounded and healed he will be like a different person and therefore, eighth. The first beast is not described as doing any miracles. [Rev 13:1-10] The first beast will usher in the false prophet, the second best; Revelation 13:11-18, one described as doing seeming miracles in Revelation and therefore connecting with 2 Thess 2:1-11 therefore we know that beast #2 will be the one claiming to be 'Jesus'. Which also makes more clear who beast #1 is... a religious king.. It's clear that the "beast" and "false prophet" culminate as two actual people; Revelation 19:20-21. The first beast as a whole is a kingdom with seven major kings and 10 minor kings. [Daniel 7:23, Revelation 17:8-12] One of the major kings will seem to die and be healed from death, causing the majority of the world to marvel and wonder. [Rev 13:3, 17:8] After his wounding and healing that king himself is called a beast, he and the false prophet are thrown directly into the lake of fire; Revelation 19:20-21. The Lord will return with a shout, and will resurrect many, and with a great army behind Him He will slay the two beasts as prophesied in Isaiah 26:19-21, 27:1, and described in Revelation 19:17-21.

The Mark of the Beast (what it really is explained)
Desopixi Seilynam replied to BlessedCreator's topic in Prophecy
I believe it is all literal, "that no man may buy or sell, save he that had the mark" And so, the enemy now today, has many subliminally ready to use the mark during buying and selling. For it is subliminally presented during buying and selling, today. Which was not the case until about 2012, I'm speaking with love, but not figuratively at all. The mark is definitely literal, what proves it to me right now is the fact that I can't openly type about it! Surely many Christians right now ignorantly have the mark prominent in their house and see it as some sort of godly symbol even though it is 6 6 6 very clearly in their face... So deception concerning the literal mark is here already, in the future people will literally put a mark on hand or forehead thinking that by doing such they are receiving 'eternal life' from 'Jesus'. Many would scorn me right now if I say the name of the symbol... And that is why for me what the mark of the beast will literally be is very clear. The image also is literal "that the image should both speak and cause as many as would not worship it to be killed" We can foresee it, before 2005 or so what I'm about to say would have made less sense. But today just about every 'westerner' has a 'phone', a scrying mirror, a black witchcraft mirror, in their pocket... My speculations are that; indeed in the future holograms will come up from 'phones', live streamed holographic video, 10G and on will be needed, but they'll do it. And everyday the beast will give his speech that will come through as a hologram, a hologram of a man seemingly healed from death, speaking. Think about what John potentially saw; people pull out a flat thing, press on it a bit, and up comes a moving image of a man speaking! Right?! And they all bow their heads down a bit and watch him! And so John writes what he saw! [Rev 1:11] "That they should make an image of the beast..." And via the internet, the app itself that streams the holographic video, will know who watches and who does not, and clandestinely people not watching will be taken away... And so today, people feel as if they "need" a modern phone, surely having one is being engraved into the very fabric of society... ------- To me it seems clear that while Revelation is somewhat figurative, it is not super ultra figurative, what is written therein concerning the time of the two beasts is clear, and will be the most clear to the people directly in the time, it is evident that we are drawing closer to those times, but I do not believe the mark is active today. It will most likely be a literal electronic tattoo, high technology, associated with the idea of living forever, such will be the lure; the lie presented to all mankind; "thou shalt not die". It will be praised as mankind's 'evolution' and therefore all of society will be built around it such that "no man may buy or sell save he that had the mark or name or number". And clearly the beast and false prophet culminate as two actual people; Revelation 19:20-21. Another thing that is clear is that Revelation tells us the number of the beast in a manner that clearly suggests that it is giving us a clue. And, dear ones, indeed that is the part that makes everything blatantly obvious if one is willing to look in that direction. ------- As we follow the teachings of Christ we are brought, by His Spirit, to truth. The good news that Christ taught is that sincere love for your fellow man is the summary of the whole law. Matthew 7:12, Luke 6:27-49, Romans 13:8-10, 1 Timothy 1:5 Grounded and rooted in the love that Christ taught; grounded and rooted in Christ. We are thereby transformed, His Spirit leads us away from the flesh and towards self-control.
