Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. We should never expect an individual to come to us and ask for forgiveness. Forgiving someone is for our benefit, not theirs. When we forgive, God forgives us. If we don't forgive, God won't forgive us either. Love The Father and love your neighbor as yourself. That's really all God expects of us. Worship the Father and be nice. You can't do that if you're holding a grudge.

A graven image is an object made by man to represent a deity. All images of Jesus and Mary are graven images. Graven images don't have to be something carved. Paintings can also be a graven image. Did you know there's a passage in the bible that references that well known image of Jesus? There's also a description of what Jesus doesn't look like. God's way of telling us that image of Jesus is fake.

You're rooting for the wrong team. This country is already a cesspool. It's the Sin Capital of the world. Lying is legal here. So is murder and prostitution. The United States is the modern representation of Sodom & Gomorrah and will more than likely suffer the same fate. I understand your grief but you need to stop looking back. Jesus said anyone who puts their hand to the plow and looks back is not worthy for the kingdom. There's a reason The Lord doesn't want us messing around in world affairs. Look at you. You got your head all wrapped up in politics and now you're willing to throw away an eternity with Christ because you're mad at the liberals. This christian ideology that it's our duty as citizens to interact with the world is what causes many to hear these words: "I never knew you." It's ok to watch the world around us. It's not ok to try and fix it. Look but do not touch.

If there was such a thing as a pre-trib rapture, it would have occurred long ago.

I have a theory. The Mark of the Beast doesn't come from the Beast, it comes from God. The "Strong Delusion" is when the Mark is given. I believe it's given for the benefit of the angels who are unable to make judgments regarding ones salvation. With the Mark they know instantly whether someone is a child of God or not. There's a bit more to unpack so I'll leave it here for now. And please remember, this is not a doctrine. It's just a random thought I had while reading Thessalonians. Anyway...

Curious. Why would you want to hold onto something that is opposed to God? America is not America anymore. Hasn't been for quite some time. The democrats are back in power and they're going to destroy what is left of the American way of life. I believe the United States is moving along just as the Lord planned. I don't believe the U.S. is supposed to survive as a nation. Sometime before the end I think this country is going to disappear. That's just my opinion.

Matthew 24 30.Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. This is when the rapture/catching up takes place. Right in between the end of the tribulation period and the coming of Christ. 2 Timothy 2 4. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. Revelation 18 4. And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. James 1 27. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. These verses indicate we can be in the world but not of the world. The gospel isn't about escaping the tribulation. It's about having the faith to endure to the end. It's about trusting the word of God, the scriptures. He said He would keep us from the coming wrath. He never said anything about taking us off the planet before the bad stuff starts. For some people around the world the bad stuff started a long time ago. If the gospel is about physically escaping the tribulation, the rapture should have occurred just before the first beheading. Just a thought...

This passage as well as the entire chapter is referencing backsliding christians. Those who suppress the truth are christians, not non-believers. As for those who haven't heard the gospel. Onelight posted a passage from Romans 2. That explains everything.

I've been sitting here trying to figure out how to say this without sounding arrogant. I've been doing this for about 45 years. I don't claim to know everything but I believe I have a good understanding on who God is. Don't be afraid to invade my space with a question. My doors are always open and everyone is welcome.

That's exactly what it means. It's a spiritual mark. It's not meant to be physically seen.

Totally at peace. I don't participate in affairs of the world. If I have any concerns, they are directed at the birth pangs the earth is experiencing right now, not who will be tomorrows president. I'm at peace because I know God is there. Not out watching over the world but right here next to me. If it were possible I could reach out and touch Him. That's how close I feel to God.

The shroud is fake. If the image that's on it belongs to anyone, it's the devil himself.
