Does anyone know anything about stamp collecting? I recently came across a stamp collection book that my mother aquired. The title is "International Junior Postage + Stamp Album. It has a lot of stamps in it from other countries and also a smaller booklet of stamps that is called "The Portwood Company: Postage stamps for Collectors" They appear to have been published around the 1940's. Any ideas about them? Thanks in advance. JIME

I was born with bright copper penny red hair and.....you guessed it!!! I have FRECKLES !!!! I hated them as a kid. I burned so easily. I would get big blisters on my shoulders and my mom had to keep me covered all the time. I hated it. We had a African-American family that lived down the street from us that we were friends with. The oldest girl was dating this guy and he would tease me. He told me "I am going to buy a Freckle Picker and pick all your freckles off and put them on me." I was about 4-5 years old at the time. I truly beleived he was going to do it. I sure was disappointed when I realized he was just kidding . Well, I have gotten use to the freckles since then. They don't bother me anymore. But I still burn easy and my hair color is strawberry-blond now with a few gray hairs every once and a while. JIME

Sex outside of being married is called Fornication by God. Sex with someone other than your spouse while married is called Adultery by God. Once you got married and asked for forgiveness and repented of the Fornication and devoted yourself to your husband, you were forgiven of the Fornication. Morning Glory, Remember, the Lord is in control of all our circumstances. Have you ever thought that He put you in this place to build your character and strengthen your relationship with Him? There might be a reason that only He knows as to why you are in this place. Surrender yourself to His will. Allow Him to guide you in your words, attitude, and actions. God just might use you to deal with this man if he is unsaved. Remember,Gods ways are not always our ways.

I voted yes. The Lord put alot of that in to place to better our lives. Like not eating certain things, which could cause health problems and such. I would love to observe actual Jewish traditions like the Passover Meal. I think it would be an eye opening experience!!!

My Husband and I watch TBN, but we are choosey about who we listen to on there. If the teaching/doctrine are questionable, we change the channel. There are alot of other Christian channels out there to watch. We don't have cable or satelite, so we go to a website called Christian Tuner.com and watch it there. There are also alot to Christian websites you can watch good christian teaching.

Gregor, If you are a Christian, ask yourself this very important question, Would Jesus be sitting here enjoying this movie? If your answer is NO, then that particular movie is not for you. Let the Holy Spirit instruct you on which movies are pleasing to God. I know if I am watching a movie and I hear or see something that starts making me feel uncomfortable while watching it even though I am enjoying it, I get a knawing in my gut so to speak, I take that as a cue from the Holy Spirit, that I shouldn't be watching it. Psalm 101:3 says, "I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not fasten its grip on me." Prov 6:12 says, "A worthless person, a wicked man, Is the one who walks with a perverse mouth." I hope this helps, Jime

Well, in Genesis, God breathed life into Adam. Life is the breath of God!!! Which I beleive is the soul. When the body dies the soul goes where it belongs, some to Hell and others to Heaven.

I believe that our pets will be in heaven because of these scriptures: Ecclesiastes 3:19-21 19 For people and animals share the same fate both breathe and both must die. So people have no real advantage over the animals. How meaningless! 20 Both go to the same place they came from dust and they return to dust. 21 For who can prove that the human spirit goes up and the spirit of animals goes down into the earth? Lurker, Joe is trying to point out that if you beleive in Jesus, you can't beleive in evolution. This is because Jesus would have to come from an evolved species and scripture plainly tells us that He was in the beginning and created all things!!!

Bold, I think you are being decieved. Satan is still on the earth causing all kinds of trouble. The thousand year reign of Jesus hasn't happened yet. Before the thousand year reign, satan is to be bound for a thousand years and then released again for a little while. It has been 2000 + years since the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem. In that 2000+ years there has not been peace on this earth. Read the history of the that 2000+ years. It is filled with war and violence. War and violence which satan is most likely responsible for. And the New Jerusalem is not on this earth. The Jerusalem we have now has constant violence brought upon it. This is not PEACE, which would we would have because Jesus would be on the throne ruling and reigning from there. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, not the prince of violence.

The prince spoken of here is written with a little "p" which is showing that it is not talking about Jesus, it is talking about a man. If it were talking about Jesus it would look like this "Prince". This scripture is talking about a future person that will come from the same people who in 70 a.d. destroyed the city and the temple. That people was Rome led by Titus. This "prince" will be a descendant from them. The prince who is to come is the anti-christ. Daniel 9:27 does speak of a treaty. The word covenant means treaty. The Hebrew word used here is berith. I Am a Christian and I support the evolution theory as the scientific correct explanation. I have no problems to accommodate that with my (conservative traditionalist) Christian faith.
